Image Dental Care - Deer Park

I think I need to leave an honest review.

First off, I started coming to this clinic approximately 2-3 years ago, I felt comfortable here and loved my dentist, Dr. Moore. I unfortunately had to cancel an appointment once on less than 24 hours notice - following that I was treated drastically differently by the staff. It felt as though I was on probation! Rather than being allowed to text back to confirm appointments, I had to call in and was often greeted by frosty attitudes - minor, sure, but there was a definite difference in how I was treated following this.

That's not my concern. What's concerning, frustrating and at this point, a bit frightening is that approximately 8 months ago I visited the clinic in regards to a painful bump forming in my lower jaw. I believe I visited twice, actually, in regards to this. Multiple x-rays were taken, and physical exams were done, my benefits were stretched to the limit and I ended up paying out of pocket for the final appointment. The first check up on this issue wasn't significant (besides being told I was imagining things, feeling rushed, and feeling like a nuisance, on par with the final appointment), The second/final appointment is what is really troubling me. I made an emergency appointment in the evening as the discomfort was becoming unbearable, I was put in with a new female dentist who I had not met prior. Although she seemed to be kind, she told me at great lengths how she cannot see or feel the bump I was referencing. I explained that, in fact, after having the mouth that I do for the last nearly 30 years that something was indeed wrong and incredibly uncomfortable, this growth was new and worrisome - she laughed and told me "everyone has bumps in their mouth! " Although I half heartedly advocated for myself, I got no where, she was confident that this was a figment of my imagination. I left this appointment feeling upset, questioning myself, and forcing myself to ignore the nagging swelling in my jaw. I was not believed, I was dismissed, and I was charged a significant amount to be told I was imagining things. (In hindsight I should have attempted to see a doctor, too, but the way I was treated at these appointments genuinely had me believe that it was all in my head.) I've spent the last few months telling myself that I'm just imagining things - and, surprise, this issue didn't go away. I finally saw a new dentist a few weeks back, who admitted they were unsure of what was happening but luckily referred me to a specialist. Surprise surprise, I have a severe infection in my salivary gland that has become significantly more severe than it would have had I - first of all, been believed and not literally laughed at, but secondly, had I recieved prompt care or at the least, a referral. I understand things happen and this is likely not the forte of a dentist, but I'm disappointed and frustrated. When in doubt, please, refer your patient out. And please believe someone when they say, multiple times, that something is not right in their body. I wasted my money and benefits here when i could have - and eventually did receive prompt and thorough care elsewhere. Now I'm left afraid, wondering, and waiting for a CT scan to see how severe this infection is after 6+ months of no treatment. I suppose I can thank you, image dental, for the lesson on the importance of fiercely advocating for yourself, as well as the importance of a second opinion. I won't be back, and will not recommend this clinic to my loved ones.

Great team from the minute you walk in. Girls at the front are fantastic! And the dentists and hygienists are top shelf.

Friendly staff, attended well, had a follow-up through the phone with the dentist which very nice of them.

First time going to the dentist. Best experience. They made me very relaxed and every friendly staff. I will definitely go back and spend my Dental Benefits there.

I recently had my four wisdom teeth removed and wanted to provide a review of my experience. I’ve never had a tooth extracted as an adult, so the anxiety level was higher than normal, especially with some stories I’ve heard about getting all of your wisdom teeth removed. It was the exact opposite. Dr. Chang and his assistant Jessica reduced my anxiety and the procedure was completed with minimal pain. Jessica did an excellent job of explaining the procedure and was so friendly throughout. Dr. Chang was able to do the freezing without me hardly feeling the the injection. From that point on it was really just a normal dental visit. Everything proceeded smoothly and as per how it was explained. I rate the overall performance as very high based on their professionalism, friendly attitude and attention to detail. At the end of the procedure I was given detailed instructions on post-procedure care and Jessica made sure that all my questions were answered. I would certainly have no issue recommending Image Dental for anyone looking for a dentist.

Can't thank image dental enough. Had an issue with a crown from a previous dentist. He couldn't find the issue. Went to another dentist, no luck. Came to image and they found the issue right away.
Also had a crown break off while on holiday. Image had me in the day I arrived home and was able to set me up to be recrowned a few days later.

I seen Dr shammas to get a tooth extraction, she was very gentle and professional. I will definitely be going back again!

Definitely more talent and experience here than some dental offices I've been to. Update equipment that they don't hesitate to use if they need to. If they need 5 x-rays they'll take them because it's digital and they won't overcharge you. Also, I was quoted for a surgical extraction, but it turned out to be a simple extraction, so they only billed about a third of the quote. So instead of ripping me and my insurance company off, they were actually honest. Most places are just out to drain your insurance as much as they can.
I'm definitely happy and surprised, the whole family will be switching to image now, along with anyone else I can refer.

Absolutely wonderful staff:) the hygienists and dentists are so talented. I trust them 100% and I am always delighted with my results after every visit.

They are okay for the most part.seem to never be running on schedule and don't keep track of the usage on my insurance which i was they did. I am still waiting for a call from the orthodontist they said they sent a referral too.overall and ok place to take my kids.

I really have to say a great experience with this office, all of the staff in the front and in the back. Dr. Moore was outstanding. I appreciated his professionalism and easy man to talk with he certainly made sure all bases were covered on my initial exam. I was able to get in and see them with a 2 day notice.
The front desk staff were very professional, great to talk with, Dr. Moore's support staff in the back with him were easy to talk too and great at thier jobs.
Thank you for making it less stessful for me. I actually look forward to my next appointment to get things started.

I came to Image Dental to have a sizable filling replaced, and another cavity next to it filled. At the age of 45 my experience with having dental work done, is, I would imagine, not unlike so many others in my age group who were used to pain and discomfort even just in the freezing process we had to endure. So many of us also are used to situations where the freezing didnt take full effect or wasn't quite enough. We were always simply encouraged to bear up and be brave in the face of that pain- knowing it was a necessary means to an end- cavities needed to be filled.
At Image Dental, I was impressed with Dr. Moore's calm, polite, compassionate and professional demeanor. He listened to my concerns and was very reassuring and caring. My hygienist Sabine, was likewise, lovely, compassionate and professional. I felt very secure in their care. I felt ZERO pain in my freezing, and in the drilling, which was a huge relief, as I was dreading the procedure. I can't say enough how pleased and grateful I am. I will be recommending them to anyone who is seeking a great dentist.

What an amazing and gratifying experience of my teeth cleaning and whitening done at the Image Dental Care. Jenna, the hygienist who had given me an extremely thorough and delicate tooth cleaning. And Madison had treated my teeth whitening with patience and care. I already received compliments from my friends for my sparkling teeth only two days after these treatments. Their professional performance had totally exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend my friends to Image Dental for any dental care treatments.

Today was my third visit at Image Dental Care, and my entire experience, was very pleasant. I have always struggled with anxiety, when it came to dental visits in the past. I no longer face this issue, since being a patient of Dr. Moore's at Image Dental. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone searching for an excellent quality dental clinic.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Image! Dr Chang, and all the hygienists and front end staff have been amazingly courteous, kind and clear. Direct billing is a big plus! I have always been welcomed with a smile and they always remember my name! Excellent service.

They don't understand the value of time for the clients,
After they call to update my appointment for 30 minutes earlier, went there waiting for 15 minutes and they keep us waiting! When some other clients came and get the service¡!
Will never go to this dental place again,

I have a great experience with Image Dental Care. They provide the best service ever in Red Deer. Doctors, Nurses, and all other staff are highly qualified people. You just enjoy being in their office for an hour or so.

Staff provide excellent service and are knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and friendly!

The hygienist was professional and efficient. The office staff took Covid seriously with detailed questions, taking of temperature, provision of a k95 mask and hand sanitation.

Doctor Moor is excellent, let’s you know exactly what he’s doing. I had 5 fillings today and am a bit sore but nothing like I thought it would be. They really care about you there! His assistant was absolutely terrific! Definitely recommend image dental

I have been coming to this office since I was pregnant with my oldest (now 4) and have always had great experiences. Now my daughter and I get to visit the dentist together! They were always amazing with me but seeing how well my daughter is treated and how patient they are with her always keeps us coming back. Dr. Chang did a great job with a gum graft I recently had done. He made a very unpleasant and painful procedure tolerable.

I am a retiree and have been very pleased with the dental work I have had done at Image Dental Care. I have had a number of cleanings, and crowns done. All dental work is expensive so it needs to be good, and it has been. The staff members are also very caring, skilled and helpful. Thank you for the good recent clean, Carly.

Welcoming receptionists, and Sarah the hygienist is absolutely the best! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Takes her time explaining any sort of questions that might come up. Been visiting her and the team for years and have had great visits every time.

Dr Shiraz did a phenomenal job reconstructing my sons front teeth. He is very personable and very skilled at his work. Would highly recommend

I really like Image Dental

I was in a great deal of pain so I called on Sunday afternoon to see if I could get into see a dentist they were booked up that day. However they did get me in first thing Monday morning, Everyone was so kind and I experienced no pain getting my, tooth pulled other than the quick poke from the needle for freezing. I'm on day 2 of healing and I still feel minimal pain or discomfort.

Dr. Antony did an absolutely amazing job with my complicated wisdom tooth extractions. I left the appointment sooner than expected and he was very knowledgable. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Image Dental has always been a top notch dentist.
This holiday season i chipped a molar while eating on the 25th. I filled out a contact card that evening and was called first thing on the 27th and they got me in that afternoon. The dentist gave me several options and i decided to go with a filling on the 2 teeth affected and it turned out perfectly. The team worked so well i even fell asleep in the chair a bit. After all freezing wore off the pain was minimal and teeth feel great. Thank you Image Dental for excellent service.

I had been attending their office for many years but have opted to switch as the frustrations have continued to build. Their dental hygienists and dentists are good. Their office protocols are brutal, their statements are poorly laid out, they're disorganized in their collection of payments, repeatedly charging you for the same procedure and I've been charged for items I did not receive.

Really nice staff, great dentists and assistants. Made going to the dentist less stressful for me knowing the staff was so great. Havent had all my work finished yet. But what I've had done so far looks great.

All staff were professional adhering to COVID protocol. Dentist, assistant, and hygienist were very knowledgeable and discussed the procedures while doing the work. Great Dental Office.

On Sunday 24 Jan, I awoke with a painfully infected tooth. I called Image Dental seeking assistance. Fortunately, due to a cancelation they were able to fit me in that day for an appointment, a prescription for pain relief and a follow up referral. The result was immediate relief. I commend the Image Dental staff for their timely and professional response and highly recommend their team should you need dental assistance.

Best dentist in Red Deer hands down. Veldina the assistant was lovely. All staff are amazing to deal with. Love this place! 5 stars!

Image dental was able to get me in when I was in pain. They are happy to explain anything I want to know about what they are doing but also my different options. Everyone I talked to there was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this business to everyone!

I went in for a checkup and cleaning, and had an excellent experience. The COVID-19 protocols were thorough and I felt completely safe. My hygienist answered all of my questions and even explained what to expect at my next visit. I can not say enough great things about this dental office! We have a lot of dental anxiety in our house and Dr. Moore and his staff were amazing! My 7yr old daughter had some fillings and an extraction this last week and he was so incredible with her! His assistants are great too! All 3 of my kids and myself have had work done this last week and I can’t imagine going to anyone else! Highly recommend Dr. Moore and Image Dental!

Changing my five star review to this as I have never had a negative experience at this office, until now. I had a root canal in 2017 at a specialists office, and Image Dental only realized that it was still infected recently after multiple check ups and x rays.
I have never, in my life, felt so disrespected by a doctor or dentist until I was seen by Dr. Chang. He talked to my boyfriend, about MY teeth, completely ignoring me. He did not talk to me directly once. I left the office feeling ignored, small and angry.
Will most likely never be back, as it looks like all the other dentists I liked have left.
