Been here so many times during the summer and even now it keeps up being my favorite indian place to dine out. Vegan mango chicken is the best thing ever:) and our server Pedro was super nice, kudos to him and the Curry house overall
Dosa was great but bland coconut chutney and missing the red chutney. Service was great too Please Remove Biryani from your menu. Serve only what you are good at. It was beyond disappointing
We just visited this place last month on our Banff trip as we are looking for an Indian food.we randomly selected this place and we are very happy with our decision as the food was delicious. We tried papri chat, vegetarian pakora and Mango lassi and just loved the taste and quality of food. The services were excellent and the staff was very polite and professional.we definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good Indian restaurant in Banff.
The Indian Curry House in Banff is an absolute gem that serves some of the most mouthwatering Indian cuisine you'll ever taste! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. But it's the food that truly steals the show. The flavors are a symphony for the taste buds - whether you're savoring the rich, creamy butter chicken, indulging in the perfectly spiced biryani, or relishing the array of delectable vegetarian options, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The aromas alone are a delight.
The naan bread is freshly baked, and the mango lassi is the perfect accompaniment to cool the spice. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave with a satisfied smile on your face. The staff's attentiveness and the restaurant's commitment to quality make every visit a memorable one. If you're in Banff and craving amazing Indian food, the Indian Curry House is an absolute must-visit!
Service was good, Chicken items were tasty on the other hand, dosa was average and even-though requesting to make it spicy they weren’t spicy at all. Biggest concern was their plates and cleanliness. Washroom were big mess up and all the plates were full of stain.
I had this last week and upon the first bite my soul was lifted out of my body and god gave me a kiss on the cheek as I descended down back to my body to eat more. Five stars
We ordered 3 appetizers and after waiting 30 mins we were asked to give our orders again. The pani puri bottles are long and skinny that make it easy for the masala to stay at the bottom and make the poured pani taste bland & watery. The chaat is similarly bland without any chaat masala or tamarind sauce. The vegetable pakoras were good.
We ordered dosa, korma, papadum, and papdi chat, and chai- all very delicious. Service warm and friendly. Got busier after we arrived, so was a little bit louder than expected.
Absolutely terrible service… The staff is very unprofessional and arrogant. Ordered salad, 2 breads and asked for bowls but nothing was served. Could not finish our food because the breads were never served. Finally we left with such disappointing meal and had to go to another place for a good meal.
