Innisfail Golf Club

Beautiful course but absolutely terrible service in the restaurant/lounge. Very slow to serve and they have an attitude! To drive from edmonton to deal with the poor service that the ladies were giving! Stay in edmonton or wherever you are why take a drive to deal with this!

We planned our annual golf weekend here (myself + 3 buddies) as we are from Edmonton. The reputation of course was really built up to lofty heights and man did they deliver. 1st - course is pristine as advertised, extremely challenging but fair. 2nd - they helped us customize our visit on the fly as we played 27 on consecutive days and were flexible. 3rd - the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, from pro shop to food staff in clubhouse. This course is all over my radar now, and I can't wait to return!

Good course. Marshall’s are rude and aggressive and yelled at us because our friends missed the “carts on path only” sign. We were on the cart path and didn’t appreciate being berated with “don’t your friends know how to read? ” Each hole has a different requirement for carts, some say “carts scatter”, and we weren’t warned by the starter to pay attention for holes that limit carts to the paths. Disappointed by the course’s flippant attempt to apologize and change the narrative online without understanding how events unfolded. Spend your money somewhere else.

A golfers golf course. Need to hit different clubs, ball shapes and ball flights from tee to green all day long. Well placed hazards make you think and calculate on every shot. Do not expect to shoot low your 1st time there. Greens are very receptive to the spin you put on your shots with your wedges and irons. Definate must play, i will be playing it every chance i have to whip out from calgary.

It started off great. The pro shop lady was extremely helpful and courteous. The starter was welcoming and took our picture. We were a group of four and three.

Our tee time was 807 and on hole eight the Marshall told us that we needed to speed this up as we were behind the group ahead. I apologized and we hustled to finish the hole and complete nine. That’s when I looked at the time and realized we were well ahead of pace. On the scorecard it says the round should be completed in four hours and 25 minutes. When we finished hole nine it was 958. Under two hours for the first nine. I saw the Marshall and told him this. Instead of saying sorry he was confrontational and oblivious. I mentioned the time on the score card and he said we needed to be sub four hours as one of the first groups. When we completed eighteen it was 1139. This was well under four hours.

I will not be returning to this course even though it is beautiful and will suggest others going elsewhere due to this gentleman’s behaviour. He is a reflection on your course and it’s a shame he’s so power hungry.

Great location and food was fresh and served in a timely manner. Golf was awesome. Fun track to play.

One of Alberta's greatest golf gems! Been golfing here since I was a junior member on the original 18 holes (now 27 glorious holes of true championship golf). Such an amazing course with fantastic conditions, amenities, and staff. A personal favorite!

This is a beautiful course that seems to be local secret. Challenging layout and stunning views!

Wow is all I can really say! Course was in great shape, staff was lovely to deal with, and the views were incredible with the fall colors. Played Aspen and Hazelwood…challenging but broken up nicely with some par 3’s. Highly recommend you put this one on your list of courses to play.jscott18
