I am a regular customer I was in aug 20 looking at some lovely dragon planter pots. (even though they were over priced) I collect them and was looking to purchase but the lady was so rude and dismissive of me. Barged in front to protect her crystal elephant and totally ignored me. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Airdrie antique mall is not that far away.
Asked to see something in a booth that was small and wanted to buy it. Another woman did the same thing at the same time as me. They insisted that they carry my purchase to the till but not with the other woman. Only difference was that she was white and I wasn't.
Went with a good friend, she was looking for a dresser to convert to a vanity. This place I spent hours just looking around. Well placed and organized. Items were reasonably priced. The owners were really sweet and awesome to talk with. Looking for a fun afternoon, go here!
Staff are super friendly and helpful! Outstanding selection of items, and a great way to spend time appreciating the little (material) things that we are capable of creating. I almost always find things that fulfill a need/purpose, and I always find things I love. This is one of my happy places:)
This store is very okay to put it plainly. Turnover is pretty low and some items sit in booths for years with not even the slightest markdown. I come here for old tools mainly and there are some who deal in them it’s mainly housewares and fine china. I have found some amazing items though, I picked up a 1917 Kodak that I use daily for photography and it’s my go to camera for an enjoyable outing. I recommend spacing visits out to once a year
Fabulous antique shop with a range of well appointed items (there are two adjoining buildings) friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owners and staff.was visiting Calgary and looking for a special item for a gift and was immediately given options, historical info and context on the genre of items I was looking for.very reasonable prices and was able to negotiate pricing on the rare, unmarked item I wanted.highly recommend this place
This is an excellent place to visit. If you'd like to see Alberta's heritage. And wonderful antiques and collectibles. The prices are great. Great relaxing place to go on the weekends. I'm at the owner when I was there. She was very informative. And a wonderful person. I recommend this place to anyone who likes antiques
This little mall always has a delightful selection from a variety of vendors. The staff are always incredibly helpful, and it's hard not to enjoy yourself as you wander about. I've found some rare things here that I'd never thought I'd see in person! My prize tea set came from this little mall, and I love it just as the day I found it. There is a little bit of junk in here, but the majority of it is well-cared for and in great condition. Quite busy on weekends now!
This is one of the largest antique stores in Calgary. It’s a little weird how the two halves do not connect. The first time we visited, we only went through one side of the store.
My experience here is variable. At times, you'll feel just like you're among friends and the customer service experience is exceptionally well. At other times, not so much. There are always different faces working here everytime I visit and while some staff are awesome and enthusiastic, others seem a bit annoyed to help you. Everyone is allowed to have an off-day, so I can emphasize with that. The system is comprised of vendors who own individual stalls or cabinets. There really is a great mix of everything and anything. I'm sure you can find at least one thing that appeals to you. The prices are a bit higher than other similar places I've visited, but that is to be expected with a level of curation. I recommend everyone to visit this place at least once because it's undoubtedly a unique place to have within our city limits. The variable customer service makes me a bit hesitant to be a regular, but I can appreciate the spirit and asthetic they offer.
Really great place to shop for vintage housewares and antique furniture. I found so many things I could buy as gifts for friends and family. I bought a set of vintage dishes dating back to 1912-36 made exclusively for Harrod's. Definitely would be back again for more!
I love this place! Whether you're browsing to kill time or on the hunt for something specific: you'll find unique treasures. Lots of individual booths, curated according to people's passions. Definitely a must visit location.
Never have I ever come across such a diverse set of military antiques and other militaria at an antique store, quite possibly my new favorite store in Alberta. But don't let my obsession with militaria confuse you, they have two very large shops one next to the other, filled to the brim with every kind of antique under the sun, I look forward to paying them a visit every time I come to Calgary.
The absolute best antique store in Calgary, various vendors all under 1 roof, actually there are 2 spaces, 2 separate entrances, side by side. Something for everyone.
This is such a lovely place to visit for all the antique enthusiasts. I've found quite a few pieces that are well worth the price. Its huge with a lot to offer.
I think it's an awesome shop. Designers should come check out the store because there are worthy finds. It also has an extended shop next door. If you like vintage things they have it all.
Some interesting antiques and some faux antiques. Pay attention to what you're buying. I found one piece aelling for $12 with the Value Village sticker for $2.99 still stuck to the bottom! The Gentleman running the place was very nice.
This antique shop is a great place to spend a afternoon. There is so much to look at, something for everyone. It's kinda like a flea market but without actual vendors at every stall
I absolutely love this store because most of the time I find some great Treasures this trip was no exception I found an awesome vintage all leather jacket pictured below I also found a great African statue also pictured below I come to this place to look for Treasures the low marks though are 4 customer service and attitude I had to call on the phone to see if the one booth that I frequent was still there Not only was the person I'm knowledgeable but they were a tad bit snippy half the staff is that way the other half absolutely delightful and helpful and makes the experience delightful it's really a shame but I can't give them more stars but to me customer service is 80% of the experience but if you want to find a big menu to antique and collectible shop looking for that white elephant type of gift there's definitely a lot of hunt at this store which is actually two stores
I love this place! Constantly getting new items and the staff are all very helpful and kind. The vendors are all great and sometimes you can catch one of them there and they always are nice. You can find something for everyone in here and the prices are fair unlike many other antique stores. It's a family setting and my favourite store in Calgary! Sometimes there's a little pup in the shop who patrols (gives everyone kisses) the halls.:) Thanks you guys!
This place is huge! Staff have always been friendly to me. Many vendors equals a wide variety of items. I have bought several items here. Building is always clean and well kept. I would strongly recommend stopping in for a browse.
I love it here. A real treasure trove of antiques for all price points. Great place to find unique gifts for folks, too. Very accessible off Blackfoot, and a good amount of parking. I bring people here who are visiting Calgary and it's always a fun couple of hours.
