Insight Medical Imaging - West End

Never before have I had such an easy and even enjoyable experience in a medical facility. The people at the front desk were extremely polite and friendly and the technician who did my ultrasound was extremely professional and thorough, even going back to re-do certain areas. It's also pleasant how they dim the lights during the examination (I guess it's to see the screen better but it makes it feel less stark)

Lovely staff! From the moment I entered to the end of the visit I felt welcomed and looked after. The staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this facility.

Very professional and helpful. I am disabled and the staff made my visit as comfortable as possible. Thanks to the staff and if any more tests are needed I will make sure it is at this office.

All of the lab technicians and counter staff I spoke with or saw, were friendly and so nice. I even got a lab tech student. She was fantastic. Great place to go if you need diagnostic imaging. If you have an appointment, the wait times are minimal and run pretty much on time.

I did all of my ultrasound at the clinic since my pregnancy started. I really liked the place and that’s why I came there without any hesitation but I had really bad experience with my last ultrasound. I really had a bad experience with one of the ultrasound technicians and I went to front desk and complained about it. The technician was extremely rude and didn’t bother to give any proper answer to questions, and a very big lack of therapeutic communication to me and my husband. All the other technicians were really nice and helped me understand things throughout the processs. With my last ultrasound I literally were scared to ask her anything because she just don’t wanted to give any answers or ask any questions. I asked her is my baby okay she just said I don’t know ask your doctor. I believe that isn’t the way of saying things. I hope everybody should be treated equally and professionally.

Clinic was clean, people were nice and organized and I especially liked the free 2 hour client parking.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Running 6-7 minutes overtime for my appointment, they take the next person in. I have a 4 year old, so sometimes things come up, I explained that. Told them I had to go to work by 9am, and they didn’t say that would be a problem. Arrived at 7: 52 and did not get into an ultrasound room until 8: 30. The lady at the front did not seem to care about anything. As a single mother, I can only take so much time off work from a new job. Will never come back to this location. MIC is a way better clinic, and I forget why I gave insight another chance.

This location was great, the staff was friendly, patient and professional. It was very clean and the COVID protocols were very thorough.

I have been going to the West End location for many years because it's close to home. I have always found the staff there to be friendly and helpful. I can't move too fast due to a back injury from a car accident and they never try to rush me, from the time I get there to the time I leave.
They are very careful when helping to put me into position for x-ray or ultrasound and do everything possible to make me as comfortable as possible. Not all locations have staff that care about their patients wellbeing like the Westend does.

Extremely polite staff. Very nice and clean and welcoming environment. I visited for my 1st Ultrasound, it was a really great experience. The Reception, Technologist and everyone were so kind and professional, I was a bit nervous but they made me comfortable.

I had a female-specific ultrasound and was one of the first appointments of the morning, so it was very fast. The x-ray tech was male but he was extremely professional, had a female in the room for a portion of the exam, and was very cognizant of my comfort, very easy to talk to and relax around. I highly recommend this location and its staff. I was in and out in just over 30 minutes!

I am born and raised in Canada but I have an ethnic name. I never once felt discriminated in this country until I walked into this clinic. The are very unprofessional, rude, and blamed the patient for the receptionists mistakes.

I have had multiple procedures at this location and all of them have been first-rate. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, the techs are skilled and thorough and my appointments have always been on time.

Overall I was satisfied the service but the wait time was inconveniencing. I had an appointment for 9am and was requested to be there 15 minutes to time, I got there 8: 30 was called in 9: 15 to have my cloths change to Lab gown but ended up waiting for over 30 minute wearing that gown. I also didn't like that the people I came before got called in before me. I spent almost 2 hour there. My phone was out of reach due to the poor network reception.

My experience with the call staff was wonderful, I needed the earliest appointment and surprisingly got the very next day! West end has complimentary parking for customers for 2hrs so that’s handy. They are in the lower level floor (akin to a basement), it’s bright and accessible via elevator if you can’t handle one flight of stairs. The reception staff attended to me promptly and were friendly. My technician (Josh) was very professional, patient and attentive. He explained the procedure and expected length of time. I am happy with the service. Thank you!

Got into my appointment earlier than actual time. Staff were excellent and very friendly. I had a second appointment and they got me into the second one earlier than the actual time as well. Great service.

Really not happy with the fact that they booked an appt with me for what they said was 7: 25am and that I was to come 15 mins early, and the doors open at 7. I get here at 7: 10 with a full bladder as instructed (and mine is quite small so this is almost painful) to see their doors are closed. When I got inside the receptionist was extremely rude while addressing my concern. Really not impressed with this office at all.
I see below a similar review about morning appts, and I believe the receptionist I dealt with as well so I definitely won’t ever come back here.

UPDATE- The technician was awesome, they made sure to do pelvic first and let me use the washroom before the remainder of testing. She was very sweet as well.
- I received a call from customer service to follow up on my experience. They did apologize for the mix ups but then gave excuses as to why it occurred which were inaccurate with my experience.

One of my favorite imaging clinics. Clean waiting area, friendly staff, ran on time and very accommodating for multiple tests back to back so I didnt have to wait in between.

This is my fisrt review ever.my experience was so bad so I decided to share. Today I had a hirrble experience here. A front desk woman with purple/blue short hair was super extremely rude from the moment I steppped in. The costumer service is probably the main reason why the waiting time at this place is the shortest.

I would suggest avoiding this place and better go to another especially if your exam is the first thing in the morning.

Overall fast an efficient service although the blonde older lady working the front desk was very rude while talking to pther patients she could use some customer service training.

Came in for a medical exam, the staff made me feel relaxed and not to stressed. They explain what I needed to do perfectly.

Booked appointment for 2.45 pm, checked in at 2.35 pm. It's 3.15 and still waiting, I don't understand what's the purpose of booking appointments. Walk in was accepted first.

I had Melissa do an hour long appointment and she was very kind and answered all my questions! She offered after service to call the clinic if images did not go through - and had a very genuine and positive aura about helping us! Thank you so much y’all are awesome!

When I called at 10 a.m on a Wednesday morning to book an appointment the automated voice mail said there is a 10 minute wait time to speak with a real person. Well 32 minutes later still no answer so I hung up. I tried there hit the star key and they will call me back! That star key does not work. So here I am home from work now and waiting again. Star key needs some repair.

Excellent staff and service. When I had to go in for a follow up x-ray from my spinal fusion surgery (post-op 8 weeks) prior to my Dr. /Surgeons appointment, I was very pleasantly surprised with how much a welcoming environment it was. The staff were extremely professional and so nice! I have to go back sometime this weekend for my 12 week post-op x-ray and I know I will be very well taken care of! Great x-ray, staff & environment! I highly recommend this location for all you x-ray needs! Also, they have the BEST hours! They’re open on weekends and weekday evenings for those of us that can’t make it in during the limited daytime weekdays times.

P. S.nothing to do with the this review but be cautious going through the back alley to this location as there are many deep and aggravating pot holes! I feel so sorry for the residents who live at the apartments next to the Lab.
