Inspection Works was very efficient and thorough! There post inspection review and inspection document prioritized the areas we need to focus on purchasing and older house.

Mitch and Christian were a pleasure to work with and their experience in the industry was evident throughout the inspection process.

I really liked how streamlined the booking process was, and the post inspection processes including the payments. Definitely designed with the customer experience in mind.

Mitch and Christian did an excellent job with their extensively thorough inspection. They were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of details. Very appreciative of their professionalism and demeanor. They were open and honest in their communication, and answered any questions we had.

They were very knowledgeable in all aspects of the home and even went through how to maintain or what needs to be maintanined regularly. The inspection was efficient with 2 inspectors plus a trainee. They arrived 30 min before inspection time and inspected the exterior and garage before we got there. They even brought us snacks.which is a first!

They showed up on time (2 inspectors), provided pop up tables and chairs for us to sit in while the inspection was going on and they even busted out water and candy.

(Do I even need to continue, they brought candy what else do you need to know)

The inspection was very thorough and listed all the information you would want to know about your new home.

We also opted for the sewer scope and the WETT inspection, both were performed professionally and it was great to have one company do everything at once.

After they were finished they walked us through the entire house and went over things we would later see in the report. It was a good time to ask any questions we had and listen to the professionals talk.

The report was very clear, with great pictures, drone roof images, sewer scope video, and color coded issues that made it easy to read.

The report was emailed to me almost as soon as the inspection was finished. It came as a link and an option to download to PDF which made it very easy to jump around to different parts of the report.

Hi there, I am following up on an email I sent directly on the 14th of July, AND an inquiry through your website and still no reply. I have since sent this note via text message TWICE and posted to your Facebook review page. I am very disappointed with the lack of response and treatment as a customer in regards to my unanswered or resolved inquiry. For these reasons, AND the reasons below I will never recommend inspection works and have started to notify all real estate, trade, and affiliated contacts in regards to NOT having inspection works in their recommended vendors list.

I just wanted to share, inspection works did a great inspection of my property and I did go through the report, at the time I didn't find any concerns. What has recently taken place, was, upon possession I did test the main water shut off line, like the report said to- and realized the main water shut off was NOT working in my property. This ended up being a large undertaking as it involved EPCOR turing off the water to the ENTIRE town house property (60 houses) and then a 6 hr start to finish job for the plumbing company, it cost me just over $1,200 with city charges from epcor plus the plumbing fees. NOT insane, but definitly the hassle and coordination of the repair was frustrating. I posted about this finding on my social media and was immediatly made aware of three other recent home buyers IN EDMONTON, who found that their main emergency water line shut off was also not working, but in all three cases this was discovered DURING the inspection of the home, my wonder is why was this not actually tested in my inspection? Why did inspection works not test this essential feature of my home in the report, but instead required me to do it on possession when other inspection companies are performing this task during inspection? Knowing what I have recently learned, my number one feedback to any of my friends or family choosing to purchase a home would be to ask the inspection company if they will be testing this feature in the inspection, as you can imagine its incredibly frustrating to know that this entire cost and hassle could have been completely avoided/circumvented had I chosen another inspection company- that at this point- appears to be more thurough. Any clarification on this process would be much appreciated.

I fully recommend anyone to use this company. I just purchased a farm and the inspectors that came out to check everything for me were very thorough and amazing to work with. Plus if you have children around when doing your home inspection there inspectors will show them how their equipment works and let them try. Fantastic work everyone at inspection works.

I would highly recommend Inspection Works to my friends and family for their inspection needs. They are thorough and knowledgable but they are also patient and take the time to explain things during the walk through. All in all worth the cost and just a super awesome experience! They also left a card for the seller thanking them for giving access to their home with a feedback section - stating they aim to the leave the home in the condition they found it and spots to fill out if something was missed. This is a really nice touch. I thought as a home owner, I would have no complaints with how they conducted themselves and left the place.

Doug was super helpful and informative during the inspection. He answered all my questions and was very detailed in the report/ in the walk through.

Highly recommended. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. During the inspection, the inspectors were thorough and took the time to explain any issues they found. The report they provided was comprehensive and easy to understand, with clear photos and explanations.

I had a home inspection done recently with Inspection Works. Mitch and Aasen were very professional, very thorough with their inspection, covering the smallest of detail. I highly recommend them for inspections.

Mitch and Doug were very through and detailed in their report. They were willing to listen and answer questions about the property and potential repairs needed. I found them to be an excellent source of knowledge and "know-how" on both the property and on various repairs I requested their opinions on. Very much satisfied with their work.

Very good service: comprehensive house inspection and report by two knowledgable and courteous inspectors who explain things in easy-to understand language. Their work was a great help in my decision.

Very helpful and thorough, answering any questions you can have. As far as home inspections go, I think they did the best they could. Even pulled out a chair for me as the home was unfurnished.

Just an FYI, having a home inspection done in the winter is good for checking insulation. The downside is the snow may cover many areas. They still tried to see what they could.

Very thorough, reasonable priced. Report is well organized and the snippet tools and service referrals make it a snap to arrange work done.

This review is much overdue! My partner and I used this service to inspect our first home purchase (October 2022). Our inspectors were Mitch & Doug.

They were professional, punctual, efficient, thorough, and offered multiple services. I was happy that they are able to do a sewer and Wett (fireplace) inspection on top of the home inspection.

They took us through the house to talk about each room and space, what they found, recommendations to adjust / fix, potential causes of concern. They answered all the questions that we had, and provided us the digital in-depth report promptly the next morning.

A major benefit of their digital report is that we can pull out sections of the report that need to be addressed in the future and provide that to work men. As well they have an extensive list of
referrals of professionals in various trades on their site.

I would recommend their services and would use them again in the future if we plan on moving.

Great experience with inspection works. They have all the cool gadgets to see into walls/ scope the sewers, And you basicly get a second opinion with your inspection because 2 people do it! I would recommend and use again

The inspectors from Inspection Works that came to do a pre-purchase inspection on our property were thorough, knowledgeable, provided suggestions on how to fix identified problems, offered to give recommendations on qualified companies to perform required work, and were very helpful and personable. They provided information as they performed everything and answered any questions we had. We have bought and sold numerous properties and this is the most thorough inspection that I have ever had the pleasure to be part of. I highly recommend this company.
