I am following up on my review on December 27th, after I received a phone call from the owner George, regarding my experience. George took the time to respond to my review and discuss the issues and the structure of payment. He was able to "eat the cost" and provided me a reasonable refund. I would not hesitate to recommend or use this company in the future.

We had a plumbing emergency that Instant fixed. It was such a good repair (and at such a reasonable price), we had the same plumber come back to do a much larger project for us. That worked out so well that we didn’t hesitate to phone Instant when we had a furnace malfunction, and, of course, it was extremely well done, fast, and way less expensive than anticipated. Instant is my go-to now.

Extremely Poor Service and Over Charging

If I could rate this company 0, I would. The service call was for a diagnostic of the furnace, it was supposed to be $67+gst, my senior parents were charged $404.78 and no work was done. The service man said the furnace fan needs to be replaced and would cost $2K to place and 1 week wait time! Alternatively my parents could install a new furance for $8000. We got second opinion and another company fixed it for $200 and it was only thermostat malfuncition. But the Instant Plumbing & Heating service man still charged my senior parents for total of $404.78 for taking measurements for the possible new furnace installation! No receipts or invoice is given to justify his work.

We called Instant Plumbing to complain, they acknowledge that it was over charged and will refund us and that they will send out reciept for our record. It has been 2 months, no refund, no invoice. We emailed them several times, no response. We have all the emails from their office, too bad its just empty promises.

There are lots of company out there with more integrity and professionalism, you are better off with anyone of of them then this company!

My go to plumbing and heating company. This time it was to replace my 20 year old air conditioner. Prior to my proceeding with the install Shaun reviewed my options for the proper unit. As usual the work was done efficiently, and with minimal disturbance. Shaun explained what was done and what I needed to look for should there be any problems. I am a widow now and it is great to have such an excellent company in my corner!

I have been using this company for forty years for all my plumbing, fixtures, and heating needs. Always clean, polite and knowledgeable staff which is why i keep going back.

We found a leak and we called a few places. When I called Instant Plumbing they were AWESOME! They came quickly and saw the problem and gave us a quote that was less than a third of other place. They ordered the parts and came the day after and repaired. Megan is an awesome plumber and left no mess. Thank you Megan and Instant Plumbing.

Clean out blockage in sewage from back of house to front where the main sewer line lives. A bit more expensive than I had hoped, but it was a 3 hour job, so completely understandable.

Megan arrived on time and prepared to complete the job. Removed and replaced a shower control valve set and installed new control handles and diverting tub spout. Friendly and knowledgeable, and even vacuumed up after herself. First class!

Instant Plumbing came on Easter Sunday to fix our backing up basement sewer drain which was very close to overflowing. They were professional, timely and did an excellent job. We've been using them for different plumbing projects around our house for years, and will continue to do so.

I have had good service in the past however the last experience has killed my view of instant plumbing, I called about scheduling a dishwasher installation based on the advertised price of 250 - 300.

When I asked for confirmation I got the bait and switch being told it would cost 560.

I asked why the discrepancy and was told that 560 was the price in the pricing book they would call and get back to me.

Shockingly they never returned my call and in the following days changed the price on the site to $380-538 which could still be bait if they are quoting 560$.

This is not only shady but potentially illegal under the Competition Act.

I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Medium size plumbing and heating company mostly do residential work. They seem very conscientious about doing it right and charging a fair price.

Megan was very professional in accomplishing her task. We were very pleased with her attitude and work and would be happy to have her again.

Problem solved! Megan did an awesome job fixing both of our shower faucets. They were old and cruddy and leaking. Not any more:). Great job thanks.

It's 3 months and still work not done yet. It still nit fix after the new parts arrive.is it a joke going on. I already spent 2700 for the issue and jo result yet. Y i have veen charged 2700 abd problem is the same. Should i call some one else to get an answer.

Late in February I contacted Instant Plumbing to get a quote on a new furnace. Jason came with Joshua, his assistant, and gave me 3 options. He explained all of them before I decided on the option that was best for me.

We set up an appointment and on April 5th Jason and his assistant Joshua came at the appointed time. The office sent me an email to advise me they were underway on both days of the job. They removed the old furnace and had the new one installed by 5 pm. Even though the worst of winter was over, Jason made sure that he had the furnace up and running before the end of the day. The next morning they came back to finish the job. Jason is a very meticulous individual, he paid a great deal of attention to every detail of the job and more. He fixed a few things that had not been done properly in the past. Once the job was finished, Jason went over everything that had been done as well as setting up my new thermostat control, which I am really enjoying, and answering all my questions. Jason and Joshua were very careful when taking out the old furnace and bringing the new one down to the basement. They also cleaned up the job area before they left. I highly recommend Jason. He is very knowledgable, explains everything in detail and takes pride in what he does. I have been a customer of Instant Plumbing since 2017 and without hesitation, I highly recommend them! There was a problem with our boiler due to environmental conditions. They were able to diagnose the problem and come up with a solution. Due to the complexity of the situation, they discounted the price for work they had previously done. Very considerate of them

I had my water softener, water filtration system, new furnace, air filtration, humidifier, and tankless water heater installed by Instant Plumbing about 3 years ago by Jason. I cannot say enough how pleased I am by these products, how they work, the informative and friendly installation by Jason, and the followup. Jason was here for the annual inspection and he was immensely thorough and helpful in teaching me things to watch to maintain throughout the year. I feel as though Jason basically does my house maintenance for me and I believe that I am in very good hands indeed. I recommend Instant Plumbing with no hesitation. I am very grateful to them, and 100% trusting. I would use no other plumbing company. Thank you to George and your group!

Great experience with this company. We needed a new toilet and got quotes from a few places that were pretty expensive (including a "deal" from a place that supplied the toilet themselves that would have cost north of $650). Ended up buying a toilet at costco and going with Instant Plumbing as they had hourly rates instead of task based and we figured a toilet swap would be quick.
The plumber (Megan) showed up on time and did quick, quality work and was done within an hour. She hauled away our old toilet and all the packaging from the new one free of charge. Ended up paying less than half the price as the other place all-in, including the cost of the toilet we bought separately! We got some advice from her on some potential future work as well. Again, great experience!

Quick and efficient kitchen sink pipe replacement & clog clearing which saved me from having to do it myself and saved my husband and I from arguing! All around win and marriage saver.
