Integral Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic

I injured my back recently, and my previous physio moved to a practice in St. Albert, so I was looking for somewhere new. I was able to get in quickly with Ryan, so that's who I saw, and he was great! He taught me a new muscle name (quadratus lumborum? I had no idea this was a thing hahaha) and helped me get back to pain-free in only 3 weeks. During our first session, he started off by asking me what my goals were, and he kept that in mind for every session after. His assessment was quick and professional and he was always really thorough with everything that he explained. Injuries always SUCK, but he made it really easy to recover from, so I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a physio.

It was my first time going physiotherapy and they made me feel super comfortable about it all… the staff is really friendly and they know their stuff. I recommend!

Spent alot of time here unfortunately (because of the accident not the staff!) Kaitlyn is an awesome physiotherapist, answering all my questions, giving great suggestions and over the months going there has been genuinely friendly and helpful in every way. The whole team, is attentive whether they are part of your therapy or not, and are always fun to interact with and willing to help. I'm not a massage guy, but was glad I went. Hank made me feel comfortable, provided relief and was also a great source of knowledge when I asked for some things to work on some areas of tension. They helped me navigate my benefits and insurance, reducing a lot of the stress from dealing with some other things as well as provide many different scheduling options. Really have no complaints and would definitely recommend them.

Everyone is always friendly, up beat and laid back. The service goes above and beyond from what I've experienced at other clinics. Would definitely Integral to anyone I know. I saw Adam, and he was awesome.

As per usual, I walk out of there feeling better than I did coming in. 10/10, would recommend.

Basit has been helping me recover from a MVA involving a concussion and whiplash since August 2022 and Ive been getting better with the help of him and all of the other hard workers here.

I am very very impressed and I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I had a back and neck pain for a long time and doctor Adam fixed it with one appointment only. I woke up the next morning and the pain was just gone. Still can’t believe it. Very talented doctor, very nice staff. I am so happy I went there and I would definitely go back. Thank you!

I seen Kaitlyn yesterday for a Physiotherapy Assessment/Shockwave therapy appointment. Kaitlyn put together a plan for my Achilles Tendinitis. I didn’t have much knowledge about my Tendinitis but very confident that she will help me get rid of this as soon as possible.

She took the time to explain the issue and answered all my questions. She gave me exercises to do to strengthen my tendon. Kaitlyn set me up with the PhysiApp with videos and directions of how to do them.

Big thanks to Kaitlyn for helping me sort out a great physio routine to get my knee back into shape! She really took the time to explain the issue, what the exercises are doing, and set me up with an app-tracked routine with videos to help me along.

I have always been uncomfortable going to clinics and crowded places and it got worse since my accident.but integral has such a welcoming environment and supportive staff that it made my visits a lot easier.i wish this place a long and prosperous years to come.so that they can continue to help and relieve suffering people like me.

Went in for my first physio appointment with Vincent. He’s really friendly, takes his time to assess you, and does a great job of explaining what he’s doing and answering questions.

I had been having persistent mid back and shoulder issues that were slowly getting more painful. I called Integral and within a few minutes, I was already booked for a session with Kate. Over the next hour, I could tell that Kate is truly passionate about helping people heal, extremely knowledgeable, and great to work with. She helped me get some immediate pain relief and also put together a program of stretches and exercises that have helped me get back to 100% within a few weeks. After I left, the whole stretching program was sent to me via email with video examples so I wouldn’t forget! The clinic was clean, tidy, and had a great vibe amongst the other practitioners. I highly recommend Integral Physio to anyone I know who has been living in pain or recently had an injury. Thanks again Kate!

I’ve been seeing Jade now for a year for chi ice neck pain from a car accident and she’s got magic hands! She’s super knowledgeable and shares her expertise to help you heal! Jade went on Mat leave and had an appointment with Vincent recent. Different approach but great visit!

My whole life has changed! Before I started I couldn’t even lift my granddaughter now I can airplane her over my head! I’m looking forward to being able to exercise regularly again.

So far I've only had one session with Adam for my plantar fasciitis, but already I feel so much better. He explained everything that he was doing, and why he was doing it. Everyone I encountered who works there was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I have anxiety when going to new places, and I felt very welcome. Booking online was super easy, plus they use the physiApp which came with how to videos for the stretches I'm supposed to be doing, which was great because sometimes remembering them all can be overwhelming. I highly recommend.

I had an amazing massage today here with Carry. I have had many massages and I can easily say she is the best I have ever have. She has a different style than anyone I have ever had, she moves quicker with amazing pressure. Imagine an abstract painter passionately whipping the brush at the canvas, that is the best analogy I can come up with. She is an artist, I honestly don’t know where she gets that level of energy. She makes it her mission to find knots and alleviate them. You will not be disappointed!

I had an assessment appointment with Adam Giesbrecht at Integral Physiotherapy and was very impressed. Adam looks at each issue in a wholistic way. Not only did he make an assessment on this first appointment, he did some treatment and then had one of the kinesthesiologists in the clinic go over a set of home exercises tailored to address my issue. Those exercises were then sent to me via email and a link to an app where I can watch a video to ensure I am doing the exercises correctly. I am confident that my knee issue will be resolved with Adam's help. If you are looking for good value for your money, check out Integral.

Having been going here for a couple years now and Adam and the rest of the team were able to virtually eliminate the pain in my shoulder, back, and neck. Amazing service and the whole team is personable and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Have seen a couple different PTs at this location and always very happy with my service, WCB was no problem for them and I had a period where I forgot/misremembered my appointment time and they were great!

It was a great experience overall. My therapist, Kate, was knowledgeable and really helpful in pointing out potential causes of my foot pain and supportive for the process of getting back to running soon. The whole process from the start to the end was smooth and efficient. All staff were very nice as well. I highly recommend Integral physiotherapy!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Working in the dental field can be hard on your body, Adam and his team always get my body back in check. Integral has a fun, friendly, and professional atmosphere, you can tell they really love what they do!

Jade and Vince have been my physiotherapists at Integral for the past 2 years and both of them are amazing! Jade is so good at what she does, very strong and efficient, and has gotten me pain-free. I only go in for maintenance sessions now and always find those sessions effective and therapeutic. Vince is also really great- I appreciate how he takes the time to listen to/ assess my issues and work through them with me and how passionate he is about what he does. Recently I started seeing Jeremy as well for massage therapy and haven't looked back. I would recommend any of them in a heartbeat!

Thank you so much for continuing to take this virus seriously. For myself, I don't know what criteria I'll use to decide when to totally abandon Covid precautions, but it won't be anytime soon.
I had a series of IMS treatments with Adam last year, combined with a program of stretches to do at home, which thoroughly fixed my back problems. The professionalism, matched with good humour, was apparent in all the staff members.

I saw Mr. Joseph El Hamchaoui for electroshock therapy of my hand tendinitis and the experience was great!
Joseph is really a fantastic, and knowledgeable physiotherapist.
He was the one who recommended electroshock therapy for me and I am forever thankful of him because after only 3 sessions, my tendinitis pain was over. I had seen several other physiotherapist both in Toronto and Edmonton, but none of them had recommended electroshock therapy but Joseph was the one who recommended the right therapy for my hand.
Above of all these, Joseph has a great personality and I was feeling very comfortable during my sessions.
I really appreciate whatever Joseph has done for me.

I saw Adam after a vehicle accident for whiplash, migraines etc. He was absolutely fantastic. Very skilled and worked with me to create a plan for at-home exercises to relieve the pain. I also tore ligaments in my ankle, again Adam was wonderful not only at releasing the pain in the moment, but also giving me take-home exercises to strengthen everything, and helping correct the ways I was overcompensating due to the weakness in my ankle.

Matt's massages are also fantastic, he's also very skilled and knowledgeable, he helped my neck incredibly, as well as my back due to years of bad posture and previous back injuries.

All the staff are also very friendly, the clinic runs like an extended family, everyone is always joking and friendly, everything is super clean.

I am a runner and four months ago I injured my piriformis and hamstring muscles. I can to see Vince when I couldn't run without pain for more than 9 min. Since working with Vince, my injury has improved so much that I can now run for 90 min without discomfort. Vince is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and thinks my injury in terms of physical, mental, and
emotional components. For example, I have an 18 month old and a 4 year old which requires a lot of my injury! I was trying to push through and run when I should have considered my "life stress" and how this impacts my injury and ability to recover and get better. Vince explained all of this to me, a large piece of was forgetting and/or ignoring. Additionally, Vince goes over and above each time I see him. He does this by listening well, spending a lot of time addressing my concerns and updating or changing my exercises to better address the current stage of my injury. Although I'm not thrilled to be injured, I consider this injury a positive thing as I was able to meet Vince, and in turn become stronger and a stronger runner!

I have been seeing Jade for the last year, after a Motor Vehicle Accident. SHE IS AMAZING! I always leave feeling so much better, she is very good at keeping you updated on your treatments, why she is having you do a certain exercise, and is the NEEDLE QUEEN!

I have also see Vincent for treatment and he is just as good! Very knowledgeable, detail oriented and funny!

The whole team is great though! They are always on time and on op of their scheduling, the office is clean and well maintained, everyone is always cheerful and chatty- They make it feel so warm and comforting!

I would recommend everyone going in for a visit!

Seeing Kate for PT while I recover from surgery of a broken kneecap. Kate made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands with her compassion, friendliness and knowledge. I left my first appointment with a clear plan forward. Everyone I interacted with were professional and friendly.

Always a great visit. Well taken care of. From appointments for just maintenance. To helping with new injuries. All staff members do an incredible job. Highly recommend it to anyone in search of a physio that actually cares about you getting better

This place has taken me from having a chronic injury to my QL and intercostal (sp?) muscles of my chest, to being back in the gym training, in the best shape since I was a basketball player in highschool. Flipping semi tires, doing full abdominal days, I thought these days were behind me after my injuries and lack of body care. Over the course of a year it has all changed. They are accommodating to your schedules, and almost too nice Ha-ha. If you're thinking of going, just go and try it.

Joseph was tons of help! Great guy to deal with, he had me back to %100 ahead of schedule. Nice and friendly group of people that work there! Would recommend them to anybody!

Came here after trying chiro and it's helped a lot. I'm understanding how my body moves and what I can do to keep it moving. Jade's a super big help! The staff is always so nice and they're great at their job.

If you want to heal your body, go to Integral. Jade will do just that. You will love/hate/love it. Nothing fun about the process of healing, until you experience the pain free life later.

The team at integral Physiotherapy Sports Clinic is welcoming and experienced. I have been seeing Adam the owner for 4+ years now and he is professional and outgoing. I typically get my neck/upper back treated using ims techniques.
I have also seen him for a knee injury and I always leave feeling fixed. Also love the heating pack at the end, cue nap time.
Facility is also 5/5 clean!

Had a massage with Matthew, he was great! He also shared some mobility exercises with me afterwards.

Jade & her team are wonderful. I came in with chronic back tightness/pain & after a few short months am feeling so much better. I'd been getting massages for 2 years with limited success. The IMS treatment & provided exercises have been the perfect solution for what ailed me. Also, the atmosphere is super upbeat & fun. Always look forward to a visit.
