Islamic Association of NW Calgary

Another Friday prayer is taking place at the NW Musallah in Calgary. This project was realized through the direct efforts of a prominent community leader and businessman, Dr. Hatim Zaghloul, alongside other esteemed leaders.

This stands as a remarkable demonstration of faith, unity of hearts, and financial support coming together, transcending ethnic boundaries to do what is morally sound.

To those who laid the groundwork and constructed this place, may Allah reward you abundantly. We are fortunate to be present here, benefiting from the blessings of your unwavering dedication and hard work.

Friday sermon was delivered by Sheikh Tareq, What a beautiful recitter of holy Quran he is.

Beautiful place to pray and to attend the Jumaa prayer. Imam who seems Egyptian gives amazing khutba. Security service after Jumaa is an asset and somebody is in charge of traffic to make smooth your departure after praying.

Real Sunni Masjid, very good community, great variety of activities, I really enjoy going there.

Very clean and peaceful! Masjid that doesn't have business hours so it's open 24 hours for those who are travelling! Baraka Allahu Bikom!

This place is disgusting, no hygene at all the carpets look like they haven't been cleaned in ages. One time I saw dates on the floor and even a toe nail. Today someone vomited on the floor during Friday prayer. I honestly dont know where the money for the donation goes like hire someone to vacuum a couple of times a week and dust the place. This is the house of Allah and thats how you treat it?
