A beautifully curated artisenal collection of foods and small items from the Mediterranean and Baltic regions. It's quite nice to spend a half hour even just perusing. The bakery is amazing, the food is made well, the staff are kind and I have always enjoyed my experiences. I even remember going to the original in the center of the city and being given a small candy when I was a young kid. Anytime I order catering for sandwiches, baked goods, and charcuterie, I am overwhelmed with compliments from guests as they adore the variety!

Charged me for 2 dozens of tarts when I bought 2 to begin with. Some of the pastries were squished flat since originally they were in a tiny box. After I went back for the wrong charge, a different worker must have noticed the squished pastries, and she put them into a bigger box. When I opened the box, i was disappointed to find squished pastries.they are not cheap.

I love everything about this place. Vast selection, great staff, pre-made food, a bistro, fresh bakery, deals and imported goods.

The coffee here is delicious and not pricey.
The pizza is delicious… be patient. They may be short staffed.

Visited the Southside location today and saw so many people not wearing masks.none of the staff said anything from what I saw. Took over 20mins in line at the deli to get a single item.

The Italian Shoppe offers one of the best bakery sections I've visited in a long time (since the close of Bee Bell Bakery). Their baked goods and goodies are fresh, tasty and priced very well! Their staff are friendly, very helpful, and professional. With COVID, the Italian Shoppe provides excellent safety protocol, and I feel safe shopping here. All grocery items are well stocked and there are plenty of options when cooking Italian or other dishes.

I used to live next to the IC and after I moved away I realized what a gem of a place this is! Their cafe and grocery never ceases to amazing. Fresh, quality products and the variety always blows my mind. Recently visited as I love supporting local, overall highly recommended.

Tiramisu to die for. Always helpful and courteous. Their charcuterie is on point too. If you are looking to impress they will not disappoint.

I was very disappointed that only 50% of staff were wearing masks this monday. I wont be returning despite all the wonderful things this store has to offer. I was disappointed to hear that my friend had the same experience in Calgary.

Have always been a fan of the the Italian Centre pre-Covid, and this was our first visit back in 18 months. We were excited for our first restaurant outing in all that time. Sadly, it is unlikely we will be returning. Despite continuing Covid restrictions, and the food-nature of this place, masks for staff are apparently optional in all areas. More concerning is the total apparent lack of cleaning observed of any counter or table between customers, both inside and out. None of the staff were seen to be hand-sanitizing between customers, and the floors were filthy with food debris. Dishes were piled high in the self-bussed area. Truly, I have seen better protocols at almost any other business, including those not providing food service. Sadly disappointed.

Fantastic range of quality foods. I cannot enter this place without being tempted by so many delicious things! Their bakery is to die for and the pizzas out of this world.

Doing this review from your store as I’ve been waiting 30 minutes at the deli counter. I tried to avoid this area of your store as the service is SUPER SLOW!
During peak hours you have only 2 people serving and they’re beyond slow. I’ve been shopping here regularly for 10 years and won’t stop now but I’ll avoid the deli at all costs

This place has almost anything Italian that you desire. The Sherwood Park location is huge (opening in August) plus there will be a restaurant on site. Being Italian myself, I go there on a regular basis. Parking is an issue at their south location but the selection at all locations is unmatched

Best places to get anything Italian and more. Great people and great products. Too many tasty things to list but the Panino sandwich must be tried!

Huge fan of this place especially because they carry an extensive selection of Bonne Maman and also Pinocchio ice cream?

Fantastic place! They support local growers when possible. Amazing cheese and cold cut selection, not going to discuss how hard it is to walk past the bakery. I can't wait for the Sherwood park location to open!

Fantastic as always. Fresh produce and delish bread! The sandwich didnt make it home. That's okay.we had another 3. I can hardly wait until they open in Sherwood Park.

Great variety of products, produce and bakery items.
Breads: really enjoyed the burger buns which fit amazingly with burgers that are flipped at home. Spinach and feta pie is very tasty as well.
Deserts: tried multiple items, but enjoyed the Mille feuille with its crispy layers and a fresh filling. Also tried the baked cheese cake, but didn’t have the best experience as the base layer is made of cake and tasted as if it were burnt.
Staff is helpful and welcoming.

Love this Southside Italian center they have all Italian groceries that you can't find elsewhere. Good service price not bad. Just love this place

I love this place! Best bakery in Edmonton, and the fresh produce is ripe, bright and well priced. The deli and cheese counter also the best in the city.

The absolute slowest incompetent unfocused unmotivated staff in the cafe I have ever seen in any place of business in my life. Can’t handle it and won’t ever return.

This is the ONLY grocery store in the Edmonton area that really cares about making sure they have the correct amount of shoppers in the store at any one time. They have a person counting and watching people leave. Once people leave they allow more people in. Bravo Italian Centre for taking the pandemic seriously.

Expensive but alot of good Christmas treats. Thought I was coming to spend 20 or 30 bucks, ended up spending close to hundred dollars lol

Amazing european grocery store. Has an Amazing deli with delicious meats and cheeses, european specialty chocolates and delicacies. Bakery is awesome too. They've done a fantastic job with the covid regulations.

Awful service in cafe (more of a girls gossip gathering instead) and they never get your pizza order right either. Argument going on with the staff in the bakery when I arrived. Deli lined up and no sense of order and people snaking their way to the veggie section even. Where's the supervisor on duty! Totally agree with the other reviewers about it. Was in there today and it wasn't busy (got there at 9: 30 am on a Friday). A boyfriend of one of the girls working there (wearing pink mask) came in after me and received his drink before mine. I actually saw the girl go up to the guy making the drinks and heard her tell him to put his through first. It's not the first time this type of stuff has happened either. I asked for a refund and the staff could have cared less about it. I asked why they put his through first and the response was a shrug of the shoulders. They were still more interested in speaking with the bf than helping customers. Hope management makes changes bc this is happening with more frequency.

A great grocery store with excellent products and knowledgable staff. The attached cafe, Spinelli's is thoroughly enjoyable as well. Great coffee, food and ambience.
