Wow! The tonkatsu is the best aswell as the katsudon. Even their ramen is good. Definitely will come back! So happy we found this place.

It was so good when I came before that
I suggested going together with friends, and we had dinner. I ordered the King Tonkatsu, and my friends ordered a menu with various kinds of tonkatsu. It seemed bigger and thicker than last time.
And it tasted even better.
I really love Izumi Tonkatsu. There was so much food that we had leftovers to take home. I decided to go to Izumi again soon with another friend.

I often bring friends to eat here. It feels very warm and the price is very cheap. One of my favorite stores in Calgary!

Excellent lunch specials. Strongly recommend. After surviving COVID, the restaurant is busier than ever without any drop in quality.

Pros: quick service, quiet, tasty ramen!
Cons: we hurried eating because we arrived on a Sunday an hour before they close. In all fairness, we were warned, but I didn't get to try other food options. This is my bad, not theirs.

Service was a bit slow to begin with but improved over the experience. Food was great would come back and try again

The best Chicken katsu I ever had
It's only $13 you get rice, miso soup, salad & fruits so complete meal
Service is excellent, dropped my chopstick the server already get me the new one even before I picked the old one that on the floor

Delicious food with awesome service from a hard working family! We ordered the pork bone soup and the Katsu Don. They were fresh, plenty and full of flavour. We love all the complimentary sides that come with the dishes as well. By far best Korean in Calgary. Highly recommend! We will come back for sure!

A Must Try! This is the perfect spot for a warm, feel-good lunch. The portions are generous, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are friendly.

Underrated! This place is fantastic for the price! The tonkatsu was GIGANTIC & the best I've had in the city. Not remotely greasy. The jjamppong noodles were great & I loved the subtle smoky flavour. Definitely one of my new favourite places for Korean food!

Loved the spicy seafood noodle (jjambbong) and King Tonkatsu. Generous portion too. When ordering to go you get side dishes packed too, which is nice.

The value is amazing, but I found my bento box was swimming in liquid, with the teriyaki chicken and beef. It wasn't to my liking.

Ordered delivery and everything was delicious, well packaged with side dishes. Will order again in the future.
