Such a beautiful jewelry store with a fine attention to detail. It was a breath of fresh air to see options that weren’t the classic big box store varieties. There was unique craftsmanship to the individual pieces to suit the personality of the person buying the piece and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Erin made our experience of picking out wedding bands exactly what it’s intended to be -personal, unique, relaxed, fun and about the individual person. She had an expertise of the product lines and was engaged during the experience with a calm but excited demeanour. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else given the experience we had! Thank you Janina’s!

We shopped all over Grande Prairie and this was the only place we found exactly what we were looking for… good service, good prices, and beautiful rings. Highly recommend at least giving this store a try!

The staff were super friendly, zero pressure and found rings that we absolutely love. We have to wait a little longer to wear them, but very excited for the wedding!

I first walked into Janina’s on June 15th, 2023 to inquire about a watch box and was helped by sales rep. Erin. She was friendly and helpful and showed me what they had in stock and what could be ordered in. I also expressed my interest in a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (OP) and Erin assisted me in adding it to my profile. I came back a few days later with my wife and son and ordered the watch box. When the watch box came in my wife and I picked up the box and new watches for each of us. Thirteen days after walking in the doors I got a call from Erin telling me they got in an OP. I couldn’t believe it as they can take three months to two years to come in. Of course I bought it and am overjoyed with how it looks and feels! Erin was amazing to work with and was not pushy on purchasing anything. I can’t wait to see the Oris collection when it arrives!

I love to support local as I am a business owner as well however we experienced not one, not two but three horrible experiences here. I won't go Into too much detail except that i took my mother's gorgous antique ring (that I grew up watching her wear for 40 years) in to get sized. The jeweler chipped the stone when removing it from It's claws I understand this can happen as a risk however - the owner tried to emotionally manipulate me to make me feel like somehow it was our fault for not wanting an upgraded service to change the look of the ring. He threatened to fire one of the sales girls (who was great) who took the order - though she had nothing to do with the chip. My husband called him out on his behaviour. There was no apology or attempt to make it right.

I avoided going back into the store for months to pick it up when they had to re cut it because it was so upsetting. This was my mother's ring she was given when she left Australia as a young woman by her father. The owner seriously told me I was wrong that I bought it there in their store! I could not belive it!
No empathy. No apology and treated with a great deal of indifference.

When I went to pick it up all I wanted was to just get out and they made me wait to talk to management to re live it all again. Again No apology- didn't even offer to give me a discount for their error. As a business owner We would have eaten the $ 125 charge at the least
I'm sure he will leave a message to this review - however the damage is done and really all that was needed was an apology in the moment. This whole experience was horrible. The stone is smaller and my Mother is upset that her heirloom was damaged

Great customer service! I recently brought my Tacori which was purchased at Janina’s in for regular maintenance and the staff was incredible. Jen, Kaidyn and Melanie are wonderful and make you feel extremely comfortable.
Not to mention my ring looks back to brand new!

As an out of town customer I have to say this place is awesome. Jennifer always takes the time to respond to our inquiries and treats us amazing. When I’m in town I always visit the store and they make you feel welcome and appreciated. A refreshing experience compared to the haughtiness at high end jewelers in the major cities. Can’t recommend them enough!
