If I could rate this office 10 stars I would - I have never had a bad experience here. Whether they're working at the front desk or on your teeth all of the staff here are incredibly friendly, compassionate, and attentive. They have gone out of their way countless times to make sure I am comfortable (I have relatively "severe" dental anxiety). I couldn't recommend this place more.:)

I've been a patient here for years. All the front-end staff are fantastic and have provided exemplary customer service. All of the Hygienists have been amazing and have made sure my experiences were enjoyable. Dr. Szakacs has been my dentist for a few years now and has made it a point to provide the best experience for me as a patient. I would highly recommend this practice to anybody looking for a new dentist.

I had my first visit to Jasper Ave Dental Choice to see Dr. Szakacs for Botox and I was so impressed from beginning to end. The staff at the front was smiling and welcoming immediately. Every step of the botox was explained so I always knew what to expect and the results. Dr. Szakacs and his team were so friendly and took their time ensuring the botox was placed exactly where it should be. I definitely felt confident during the process and that I was in great hands. I love the results of the Botox and how my skin looks because of it. Highly recommend if you are looking to have botox treatment you come see Dr. Szakacs at Jasper Ave Dental Choice. My wife and I have gone here for years and we have always been happy with our experience. The staff, including all the assistants, hygienists and dentists, are lovely and attentive to any concerns. They go the extra mile and do so with a smile.

Over the past few weeks I've almost spent more time at this clinic than I have at home, and everyone there treats you like family. Dr. Szakacs, Kaylee, and Ashley have all been amazing! They are the most kind and friendly people you will ever meet. If you're worried about being judged, shamed, or are just afraid to take the first steps towards a healthier mouth, I can not recommend this team enough!

I’m so happy I decided to go to dental choice! Everyone was so kind and helpful! The dental assistant that helped me was Kaylee (I’m so sorry if I spelt your name wrong) we are both from a small town! She was able to make me feel comfortable and was easy to talk to! The dentist was also very kind!

Dr. S and his whole team including the administrative staff are so friendly and kind. I've had Kaylee a few times and she always does a spectacular job! Dr. S works so hard to ensure his patients are treated with excellence! Overall this clinic is amazing!

I've been a loyal customer of Jasper Ave Dental Choice because their service has always been great and they are close to public transit. (Also, there are no issues with parking here.) I missed a few appointments due to being without benefits, so when I went back there was more to do. During the time I was away, Dr. Jona Szakacs became the dentist on-site. Dr. Szakacs makes the time and takes extra effort with new-to-him patients, he is proactive about developing a complete understanding of his patient's needs from the beginning, instead of missing things that need to be addressed later. In addition, his manner is calming, and his work is of high quality and time-efficient. He provides above-average customer service. I have already recommended him to my friends and family and have no qualms about giving him a 5-star rating.

The staff is always so helpful and friendly, the space is well kept and the dentists and hygienists are very knowledgeable and caring with all of my dental concerns and needs! Can’t recommend enough coming here for any dental work!

Update Sept 2022…. After several visits to this clinic in the past month for appointments for myself and my kids, I have to say that the reception staff (specifically Natasha) treats customers pompously and with no consideration. Snippy attitudes, abrupt manners, and “give us your money and don’t ask questions” from Natasha put a bad taste in my mouth and make me question whether we will return for future visits. My parents also recently visited the clinic and have the same negative comments to make in regards to the office staff. I have repeatedly asked Natasha to NOT call me to confirm appointments, yet I continued to receive calls, and was met with “oh I didn’t know if you were going to show up this morning because you didn’t confirm” on my arrival to the clinic for a recent appointment.

My kids and I have been clients of Dr. Andrew Leoni now for several years after a bad experience at our previous dentist. We have ALWAYS been treated with respect and friendliness, and Andrew and staff provide excellent customer service. Fees seem to align with the dental fee guide, and we have never had a problem or a bad experience there. I would highly recommend this dental clinic!

The front end staff were amazing all super friendly, I was helped by a Natasha she made me feel so comfortable and helped thoroughly explaining my insurance and what I was covered for definitely will be going back!

The administrative staff we awesome! Natasha was really helpful and they were able to squeeze me in last minute, while also going above and beyond to help me figure out my insurance. Brooke was also awesome during my X-rays and exam. I will definitely be returning!

This clinic rescheduled my appointment multiple times and I was very accommodating. My appointment was on a Tuesday and was unable to come in the afternoon due to being on call for work. (I originally asked for a morning appointment for this reason and they rescheduled me to the afternoon). They were closed Saturday and Sunday so I called Monday to reschedule. They refused to reschedule me and then charged me for the appointment. Terrible customer service I will not be going back to this office and would not recommend going here.

Everyone there is so nice and I have never had a bad experience here. Update after two years. I still come to this office even though I now live further away, even here is so nice and professional, they are never pushy and always polite. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I absolutely love this office! I have a fear of dentists but Dr. S is amazing, he explains every little detail which helps my fears. The clinic staff are such a beautiful group of young ladies, they always make me feel comfortable. The administration gal, Natasha is on point with everything she does. Nice enough staff when I was going there about 4 years ago, I'd say. I only rate it 2 stars, though, because the work they do is only so-so.

I came in and had a filling done. The filling left a gap between my teeth that food would get stuck in. I came again, they went to re-do the filling, which worked, but left me with nerve pain. Apparently the filling they did caused nerve damage. Now it's a root canal, months of waiting, then a crown. I finally save up money and get the permanent crown on. And there's a gap, still to this day, that food gets stuck in.

They're nice, and the office looks good, and you can watch Netflix, so I'd say only go here if you're looking for cleaning and whatnot, but not any actual work.

I always had a fear of going to the dentist, but Drew Young has made going to the dentist a lot less scary. He's truly an incredible dentist that goes above and beyond. The rest of the staff is also super welcoming and friendly.

This is a great Dental office. The staff were so warm and friendly. Doctor Drew really made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was very professional and really knows his stuff! Great job! I will definately be back.

Had an awesome experience at Jasper Ave Dental Choice! The front staff were very welcoming and got me in for my appointment right on time with no delays. I went in for teeth scaling and my Dental Hygienist, Fareen, did a spectacular job that day and provided very helpful information and advice. Fareen did an awesome job with the cleaning and I felt no discomfort at any point. She even went the extra mile to advise me of problematic areas in my teeth and booked me in for another appointment with the dentist. If you're looking for a new dental clinic then this is definitely the one to book your next appointment with.

I've gone to this location for cleanings and a major procedure and the staff are delightful, the office is clean, and most importantly the quality of work is top notch. I'll be using this location for all future dental work.

I've had an absolutely amazing experience here over the last two months! Living in the US for 13 years, without good insurance or the finances to cover dental visits, I ended up going more than 8 years without any sort of cleaning or work through a dentist. During my first visit for a cleaning and exam, we learned that I had ~16 cavities (yikes!), but Dr. Young and team were very quick to build a plan to take care of those cavities and weren't judgemental in any way. 4 more visits later, my teeth are in better shape than they've been in probably over a decade, and I've got nothing but positive words and praise for everyone I interacted with here. I'll likely be back for a root canal in the next month or so, and I'm almost looking forward to it simply because of how great this entire dental team is. Thank you, Dr. Young and team, I'm grateful for your work and your care!

I am very regret my choice of choice this dental place！ It's not suitable for students, the price is too high, and they'll give you an estimated 99 percent premium before your x-ray. But you will be end up pay a big amount for almost nothing! Because they will tell you that your insurance can be quoted only 70%! But before the x-ray they will tell you your insurance will cover almost 100% no need to worry about fees! That isn’t the right behavior for my understanding!

It's disgusting not calling to solve the problem, but said said they would call！

I have always had a fear of dentists (bad experience as a child). Dr. Leoni, Angela and all the staff at Jasper Avenue Dental are wonderful. They are always gentle with any treatments and super friendly. I can actually say I no longer dread going to the dentist.

The follow ups are thorough. I have to give koodos to the hygienists and the front desk also. I always disliked going to the dentist but not anymore. They always respected my budget and time frame

Last visit was just for cleaning. The hygienist made good recommendations and even gave me scheduling and billing advice. Totally satisfied.

The best dental office I’ve been to.and I’ve been to a lot.
Everyone here is super friendly and amazing.
I am so nervous about dental visits usually, but since going here for a few years it is gone.
I’ve had a lot of work done here and everything has gone perfect. I also had an emergency chipped tooth once and they got me in right away to help out.
The best part is when Dr. Leoni does check ups, he will tell you things that need to be fixed soon and things that will need work likely in the future. I’ve never visited a dentist before and they’ve told me any procedure could wait, it’s usually “needs to be fixed ASAP”. He is very fair and honest.

This was a surprise root canal visit. I came in with a sore tooth, but had no prior indication of the need for such a procedure - and the dentist had an opening to immediately do the work. I had to quickly decide what to do, and was nervous about the whole thing but it was quick and efficiently and professionally performed. I had no idea a root canal could be this simple and pain-free. Very happily surprised by my time here.

Bad services, doctor doesn’t know what he is doing, waste time and money go there all they say is I am not sure you need to do more flossing, you need to see specialist, but I already call the specialist, they only doing root canal, so they sent me back to this place.
However Jasper Ave dental choice has extremely poor services, they refuse to help you as a patient, and misdirect you to the wrong place, and when you left them a voice message, it is been 1 week still no response, I only try to come to this place because it is close by, but if you have any other option, don’t wast your money on this unprofessional and rude front desk. If this how you guys do business, I don’t want that kind of services anyway. There are easily a couple dozen dental place in Edmonton, it is your lost. And for the last time, please don’t sent another generic response here like we are sorry for you experience, we are just too busy, it is disgusting.

I loved this dentist and staff until I needed to get my broken tooth removed I was booked for in a week and the day before my appointment I got a email saying they would charge me 21$ for ppe before my appointment which I didn't have so I went somewhere else really upset I waited the week in pain just to see this dentist to receive this email the day before. You think they could of said something when I booked.that being said Dr. Leoni is a wonderful dentist I am disappointed I had to go somewhere else.

I booked an appointment a month ago, and without notice it was cancelled. Could you rely on a place that does that?

Everyone I've met was extremely helpful and proactive, it always felt like a real family to me over the 4 years they have treated me until I moved. I held this office in very high expectations that were always met, until today. Candice, Angela, and Dr. Leoni always brightened my day on my appointment days and we talked about pretty much anything. So, on that aspect, it's a 5 star.
This review is reflective of the administrative process and a lasting impression. I was shocked to receive a first call 6 months after a treatment stating that one of my insurances had an outstanding balance. I've asked to be sent details on the transaction, which was sent on 7/23. The next day, 7/24, I received a "final warning" note stating I needed to pay before 7/28, which isn't even legal, threatening to send me to collections. With all that's been going on in the world during a pandemic, I felt there was zero respect to a 4-year-long patient who always paid and answered to communications promptly. I've called and brought up my concerts to the Office Manager, who was very polite and seemed to be willing to rectify this issue.

This feedback is to, hopefully, allow for a revision of processes and not allow other people to experience such a negative note.

This was my first visit to this clinic. It has excellent safety protocols in place to protect everyone visiting and working there from possible COVID transmission. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Dr. Leoni took time to discuss with me his findings about my dental health and offered options for future repairs. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Dr Leoni and his staff are AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am such a nervous person when it comes to the dentist and everyone here totally puts my mind at ease. As many others I'm sure, I'm not one to enjoy going to the dentist, but after my appointment here yesterday, I actually look forward to going back just for their amazing service! I've had two appointments there recently, during this Covid period, and they are very professional and sanitary about it all. No waiting at all, the super sweet receptionist Megan brings you straight to the room, the dentist and assistant were all ready and waiting for me early, super friendly, and very quick with their procedure, always keeping the patients comfort in mind. The assistant even puts on Netflix for you on the tv above and takes the time to show you detailed before and after pictures of your procedure. I left feeling very confident in their work and almost sad that I won't see them often. Thank you Jasper Ave Dental Choice Team!

The staff here were wonderful. They were non judgmental and very helpful with my dental anxiety. Dr. Leoni did a great job walking me through the extraction in a kind and professional manner. I don't know the name of the assistant that worked with me, but she was just as kind and professional. Best dental experience in my 38 years if life.

I have been a patient at this place since 2014. They use to have a good doctors, Dr. Leoni is the worst, this place will make you spend a lot money and come multiple time without fixing the problems. If you have any other option, do waste your money here.

I go for cleaning every 4-5 months, I am still waiting even I asked twice, the copies of my radiographies and son pictures about my teeth, I asked the staff to send them to may email. But Still waiting.

Jasper Ave Dental Choice was by far the best choice I have ever made in my life. If it wasn't for the extremely comforting, warming, welcoming treatment I recieved the first day I went there, honestly I would not have gotten this done. I have a phobia of the dentist, I haven't been to the dentist in over ten years due to this. I have never been so "not scared" going into a dental office in my ENTIRE life. I had a full mouth Extraction done on the 25th of February this year so just yesterday. As crazy as this is to hear coming out of my mouth "I wasn't scared going in there yesterday. Dr. Leoni and his staff are absolutely amazing and I wouldn't change a damn thing about how they do things and the way they treat their clients. " This was a life changing decision I had to make, and like I said if it wasn't for Dr. Leoni and his beautiful ladies he has there with him I would not be able to smile with confidence like i can today. Minus the bit of soreness lol but that is to be expected after having 17 teeth pulled out of your face. So thank you very very very much, for helping me change my life in probably the best way I could have. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. A+ higher if it was possible. Absolutely Amazing. I have avoided the dentist my whole life due to painful experiences when I was younger. This led to a buildup of dental work needing to be done, including wisdom teeth extraction and a root canal with crown placement. Dr. Leoni and his team are so mindful of my anxiety, and work hard at every turn to make me feel comfortable. I honestly could not recommended them more!

As someone with serious anxiety about dental work, I cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone is very kind and works hard to ensure the patient is comfortable the entire time.

Dr.leoni was amazing I seen him for Botox in the upper lip and it was very fast and pain free. They were all very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend them to everyone. I am very happy with my results, and will definitely be going back.

I LOVE coming here! Megan the receptionist makes my visits 100000x better and is super kind and easy to talk to. Candice and Angela have both cleaned my teeth and both did a wonderful job and were very gentle, both were very quick too! Dr. Leoni is very kind and did a fantastic job filling in my cavities last February. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I was very nervous going in for a long overdue extraction of a bad tooth. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The dentist was very good at making sure I was comfortable and both he and his assistant were very good at making sure I was never feeling any pain. The process was quick and painless. I highly recommend this place!

I've had my wisdom teeth pulled out before but this by far was my best experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I left an enquiry online on their website and received a call back within a day, and my appointment was set up within a few days. When I arrived Megan and Roxanne at reception were very helpful - my paperwork was filled out in a timely manner and I was ushered in to see Dr. Leoni right away - I didn't have to wait past my scheduled appointment. Julia, his assistant was just the best - so warm and kind & made me feel at ease. Dr Leoni is excellent at his job - the whole procedure went off without a hitch. I was in and out in less than an hour. Megan took care of my direct billing as I was getting my extraction done. The whole experience was very pleasant.

It is a dentist's office, so I can't bring myself to give 5 stars, but the staff all seem to be friendly and competent. I am comfortable going there.

It’s always been a wonderful experience for me at Jasper Ave Dental Choice. Dr Leoni and his team (special thanks to Dr Leoni, Dana, Candice and Angela) are super professional and friendly. I enjoy my every single visit.

I have fairly intense anxiety and dental visits make it even worse. Angela is my hygentist and is super patient and manages to do an excellent job even with all the little breaks we have to do. Dr. Leoni is an absolute dream. Super patient, professional and takes the time to explain things to you. My husband and 4 kids all go here. Definitely an unbeatable team.

Quick, comfortable, and convenient. Dr Leoni and the hygienists are all so sweet. They want your experiences to be quick and painless, and i feel as though they have made every effort to do so. They have TVs that move so they come right over you and you can actually watch your shows while they are working on your teeth. They use a rubber block to hold your bite open so you don't have to, and the freezing was very very minimally painful. I had two fillings done in under 50 minutes but is still felt the work was very high quality. They include you in all the choices about your dental work and have very good advice. My hygienist gave me details on when in the day to eat sugar and when to brush, instead of like other dentists and unrealistically telling me to never eat sugar again. They got me in for fillings two days after my initial check up. I will likely stay with this dental office for as long as I can. They also do wisdom tooth extraction on site. I don't have anything bad to say about my experience here.

Above and beyond. I don’t have to fear going back. The staff and Dr. Leoni made me feel I was in a caring and safe environment. I felt they understood my anxiety and needs completely. Highly recommend to anyone! Thank you all so much, I’m so grateful to have found this place.
