I booked the Maligne Canyon Icewalk online. Website was easy to navigate, user-friendly, and provided you with all the details you need about the tours. Easy to communicate with staff via phone or email if you have additional questions.

The tour company provides boots + ice cleats + helmets. I wore layers of clothing, double pair of socks, snow pants, winter coat, scarf, and gloves, so I didn’t get cold at all. The bottom of my snow pants got wet due to the ice melting, but the boots that were provided to me kept my feet/legs warm and dry.

Sarah was my amazing tour guide! She provided such a fun, relaxing, safe, and educational experience. The views of the canyon in March are breathtaking, which she also helped capture for me using my phone camera so I didn’t have to take selfies. It was such a lovely tour.

We visited in Malign Canyon in mid March and enjoyed every minute!

Sarah was wonderful today at the Magline Ice Canyon! Very helpful and kept us safe, plus we learned a few things along the way.

Sean lead us through a fantastic tour of the Maligne Canyon and was very gracious about taking an early morning call for a last minute booking, as well as making a detour into town and picked us up from our hotel! Very knowledgeable about the local history/geology and showed us some ice climbing tricks but was adamant about safety the entire time which led to a great hike. Highly recommended!

We did a nighttime wildlife tour with Sean during the Jasper Dark Sky Festival and it was a really good time! We only saw a mule deer and some elks, but Sean was very knowledgeable about stars, native lore and local wildlife. 100% recommend booking a tour with him.

We enjoyed a trip with Sean and his lovely dog Suka in September 2022. We went into the backcountry of Mount Robson, on an overnight hike.

Sean took perfect care of us, really understood what we wanted from our description of the sought out adventure. His knowledge is impressive and made the entire trip so much more fun! We always felt secure around him, and would definitely book a trip again with him if we're back in BC, Canada.

We booked a last minute private hiking tour. Joy was really helpful to find a suitable time slot for us and so we were able to go on a very interesting tour the next day with Sean. Even though our tour was during the day, Sean was able to show us a lot of wild life (deers, pika, squirrels and marmots). During our very individual tour he explained a lot about the different animals (and why we might not see them) and about the fossils, the geographical development, the habitats and many more interesting facts about the region. The time just flew by and we enjoyed every second of it. Thanks a lot for making it a great day! We highly

My family (myself, husband and two boys) did the rock climbing tour with Sarah this morning. She is a great guide! After rappelling to the base of the wall we then climbed 6 different sections. Sarah was helpful with our little guy to help him find handholds and footholds when he struggled. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to try rock climbing!

We booked the Wildlife tour in late May and had a great time. Sean and Sara were really knowledgeable and enabled us to spot some amazing wildlife safely. We saw in total 5 grizzlies, some elk, one moose, bald eagles, one osprey, and deer of course in one morning. The hike was lovely and the lunch spot had a fantastic view. Highly recommended.

Just finished the morning Maligne canyon tour and loved it. Going with a knowledgeable and fun guide made all the difference. Rented boots and cleats were warm, kept me dry, and were nice and clean. Helmet? Was included too. The safety and information that comes with this tour is great and the warm cider was tasty too. We loved it and would highly recommend. Don’t risk it alone or with a less knowledgeable guide, you might not get as far down the canyon and will miss out on the interesting science of everything you see.

We opted for a private tour and had Sara as our guide and it was 110% worth every penny! Although we are both outdoorsy, felt it was safer to do the ice hike with a guide and now having done it, definitely stand by that. With changes in temperatures etc, it was assuring to go with Sara as she helped us navigate through some trickier spots of the canyon but also avoid any areas that could be dangerous. She was super knowledgeable and funny and we had an absolute blast with her. Booking was easy to arrange, and we are so glad we were able to make it happen and that the weather held out! Whether you are a confident hiker or a newbie, definitely recommend getting a guide like Sara for the canyon because it will make your experience that much more enjoyable (and she snapped some great pics for us too!)

Best guide ever! We booked the day of and they had room for us. Our guide, Sean, was amazing. We did the ice walk through Maligned Canyon. He knows the area really well, adding interesting information along the way to keep us engaged. Sean knows how to adapt to the group, making sure everyone feels safe. Awesome experience!

Shaw was our guide and everything was perfect! We were 3 adults and 3 young kids and we had so much fun!
We felt safe at all time.
The equipment provided was comfortable and of great quality
Shawn was very knowledgeable and gave great explanations about our surroundings
And OMG was it absolutely beautiful!
