Nice place very good handicap facility. However no hot tub, just a warm teaching pool full of kids that's heavily chlorinated cuz you know what kids do in the pool
This is a pretty bad pool they make the shower so hot you can barley use them and the pool is so cold you might as well swim in the attic ocean this pool also uses sooooo many chemicals it burns your skin overall 3/10 nice pool design bad pool
I take my kid to swimming lessons here. They make good use of the small space they have and the classes are good. They have no boot racks though so it's just dirt and mud when trying to get yo your boots in bare feet. The change rooms are also gross as there was hair and dirt on the floor.
Update they now have boot racks and cleaned mud floor.
This is a VERY small place. They only have 2 showers and 2 separate change rooms in the women's area, but at least there are benches throughout. I'm allowed to bring my boys as long as they're under the age of 7. The family area has 4 or 5 showers where people are forced to change in as well so others are stuck waiting for a shower as people are changing. There are 2 separate change rooms and benches only near the entrance where fully clothed people tend to sit. The shower water is cold, not even lukewarm. There is soap on the wall. The girl at the front is unsmiling and is clearly going through something. The swim instructors/staff were fantastic and engaging however.
Great newly renovated facility. Very friendly staff. Usually not very busy during lane swim. Some free training aids available for use while at the pool such as fins and kickboards make swimming easily accessible for anyone.
Great warm salt water pool, nice friendly attentive lifeguards, friendly front desk
Small pool compared to other centers but great for small children and lane swimmers
Only complaint is the very limited parking. I wish they had some "parents with small children parking spots" because street parking with kids/babies and their carseats can be a bit unnerving plus further walk, so it's cold especially in winter
Super clean, staff very friendly and COVID protocols in place for swimming are great - made it super easy for me to be in and out on time with lots of space to myself.
We waited around 3 years for jasper recreation centre to open, and when i took my wife and kids, my kids were shaking because it was extremely cold. I wish from the managment and the city of edmonton to over come this situation, please and thank you.
It's a small place but it's cheaper then were I was going before only $8.50 to drop in. You will need a quarter for the lockers you do get the quarter back when you unlock the locker. Only one dryer in the women change room. I like to dry my hair and the air flow only points down. Over all a good place for a morning swim.
Had the opportunity to go to the pool today Saturday for community swim time. Meadowlark/ Glendale 6-7 pm. Not very busy for the pool with it just reopening feb 17.maybe 8 people A lot of people might not know or have not be too for so long. The pool is very open looks great. Showers are a little cold. There is only a teach pool warm, (not hot), no jets, steam room and the main pool area, Lockers are quarter to rent with a wearable key. Quarter returns when the locker is unlocked so no actual cost. (remember to bring 1 quarter). Going to be fun having a pool in the area again will definitely recommend bring the family. Might not be as flashy as terwilliger but the swing rope and dive boards are fun. Staff are very friendly and eager to tell about the new facilities features.
