Jasper Rafting Adventures

We had an awesome experience with Andy as our raft guide but also with Jordan and Kim! Witty, funny but also serious and knowledgeable we felt equipped in all the commands and safety notes. We did Mile 5 - very good for first timers and those looking for a little splash! But we will be coming back next season to jump up to Class 3 Rapids!

What a superb crew! Brought two kids on a camping trip at Whistler and Jasper Rafting Adventures came to pick us up at the camp site. August 29 was a very nice hot day for a perfect rafting adventure. Their crew of three on the bus were great. Baden was our guide and Andy was the bus driver/photographer. I forgot the other guy name with the long hair. You three gentlemen were great and I appreciate your professionalism. My kids really enjoyed the rafting. Thank you.

Their #1 rating is well deserved. Excellent, engaging staff, super rafting on the Athabasca, and just the right amount of time for a great adventure. Well organized, good equipment, and close by put-in and take-out points. Kim, Andy, and Jordan did a great job. Highly recommend. You’ll come back all smiles.

If you're thinking about a fun few hours on the water then definitely check out JRA. We had a brilliant time led by our guides Erin, Ellie, Hans and Alex who were funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. They knew the river well and made sure we all had a safe and memorable time as we paddled our way along a 12km stretch of Athabaska River. Won't forget this experience, thanks guys!

Would give ten out of five stars if I could! From Hans our charismatic and hilarious driver to Isaac our knowledgeable guide, it was a fantastic float. We floated at noon on the Athabasca in the beginning of August, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Between Isaac, Felix, and? They provided all the gear & instruction necessary to make everyone feel safe while at the same time making sure everyone had a good time. Cheers guys- absolutely well done! Would go again and again if the opportunity arose.

We had a great time on our raft with Andy as a guide. But not just he did an amazing job, every single one of the staff members was friendly and we had great fun from start to finish.

Went for the Sunwapta raft trip today. Jordan was the most amazing host; knowledgeable, skilled and funny. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate my disability. Our bus driver was also top notch. I can’t say enough good about these guys!

Can't recommend it enough. I went with my wife and 10 year old son Henry. We all absolutely loved it. Felix, Marty and Andy were fabulous hosts.

Despite the overcast my family of four (teens) had a blast. Ameer was a terrific guide, the scenery stunning, and Athabasca a nice combo of exciting but not too exciting. The rafting put-in and take out are close to town and the crew was super organized. They quickly got a large group in wetsuits, through the comprehensive safety talk, and paddling, and did the same in reverse when we were done. Highly recommend Ameer and Jasper Rafting.

Great tour! Friendly staff. Easy to sign up (we booked a last minute tour in person.) They provide all the gear except for what you wear under the wet suit. Would go again!

If you’re coming to Jasper and love adventure, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! Sunwapta was our rafting and we loved it, the staff are amazing they provided gear that is clean and in great shape, they give clear instructions and check in as you go. If you can I hope your as luck as us to get Cash as your guide. As they say Cash is king! Love it we will be back for sure! Thanks Jasper Rafting Adventures you made our experience in Jasper amazing!

It was a great experience thanks to Hans - our funny German speeking bus driver, Jenn - our lovely rafting guide that made us feel safe and wet ;-), Candice - our smart’n hart safety instruction commander, and Dylan, our assistant for everything! Funny and highly professional team! Highly recommended! We did the 5 mile, perfect for our12 year old boy and us!

First time rafting and our guide, andre, was so great! He was knowledgeable and entertaining and made the experience one i'll never forget.loved it!

Our first time whitewater rafting. We chose Jasper Rafting Adventures Athabasca Mile 5 at 3: 30pm. Our kids are 12 and 14 but others on our bus looked to be around 5 years old. Felix was a fun guide. We felt safe the entire time and had lots of fun. They had plenty of wet suits and boots to fit all sizes. The water is cold but it didn’t bother us at all. The wet suit, booties and jacket they provided worked well. All of the guides on the bus worked hard to create a fun, safe, well organized and entertaining adventure. I appreciate the photos too. Yes …you pay extra to purchase your digital photos but I was happy to pay the $40 that captured our memories so beautifully. We look forward to more rafting in the future. The family is ready for bigger challenges. Thank you for such a positive first experience.

An awesome, not to be missed experience!

As beginners, we took the "Athabasca Mile 5" 2 hour adventure (a Class II difficulty, ~40 minutes in the water), which was navigated by Ameer, who was both great and funny, and assisted by Felix, our driver and great photographer (who took our top action, big splash photos!).
What a great and unforgotten experience it was!
We cannot wait to get back and try the even more challenging rafting adventures guided by this rafting company!

Great rafting adventure, and it's family friendly. The sites are absolutely breathtaking, especially the route along the Athabasca river, which is a stunning world class tour. The guides are friendly and capable. So much fun, just prepare to get soaked!
