Jasper’s Wafflato

The most satisfying breakfast I had all week! We had the mix fruit waffle, and the banana waffle. They have a very attentive staff too. I will be definitely coming again!

We looked up the reviews of breakfast places in Jasper, and are so glad that they pointed us to Wafflato! The place was so busy that there was a line out the door. But it was worth it! And they seated us reasonably quickly. Every single thing was delicious. A lot of thought and planning went into this menu. We decided that it was the best breakfast we had in years. We had an omelet and one of the waffles, plus coffee, fruit, and toast. The service was great as well. The whole team was fast, efficient, and friendly. My only regret is that Jasper is a little far away from us, otherwise we would eat breakfast there every day.

We really enjoyed our breakfast the waffle was really good and the coffee was would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience at Jasper's Wafflato! We ordered the fried chicken waffle, jerk chicken waffle, cappuccino, and a daily cleanse. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, and the waffles were delightfully soft. The convenient location and friendly staff made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Breakfast is delicious, have a lot of variety to choose from including traditional style omlette…. It’s a must try

Very disappointed with this place, I rarely write reviews but this one is worth a comment. I don’t know how it has 4.4 stars, but it looks like there’s quite a few more bad reviews lately, which aligns with my experience here.

We were barely acknowledged when getting into the restaurant, so we sat at an open table, which was broken and very wobbly, someone dropped off menus while walking past (didn’t say anything to us, and it wasn’t busy), and then we decided to move to a non-broken table, as eating on that one would have been tricky

Our server hardly seemed to know the menu, I asked him a question and his response made no sense, I asked him to clarify and then he changed his answer. Turns out neither of the things he said were true about the menu item, because my friend ordered it and it was different than expected.

Bewilderingly, they serve all their coffee in paper cups. Unsurprisingly, the coffee was not very good.

I ordered the sunrise waffle, and it hardly had any flavour at all. Extremely bland. Even the bacon. I see another review about the bacon being microwaved, and looking back, I think that just be true because it was flavourless.

Our server took away our water cups before even asking if we were done with them (I had just taken a sip), and brought the bill over without asking pretty much the minute we finished eating - not great for atmosphere when it feels like you’re being rushed out for no reason - and no we weren’t being rude or anything!

Nous avons pris une gaufre au poulet et une gaufre au poulet à l'avocat. Très très très simpliste, un peu trop selon moi pour un restaurant, surtout pour 17$ la gaufre, pour une gaufre garnie de 2 lanières de poulet, that's it. Pour la gaufre à l'avocat, la salade et les avocats étaient noircis, j'ai dû laisser de côté cette partie de mon repas. Les gaufres elles-même étaient pâteuses, je ne crois pas quelles soient faites sur le champ, elles goûtaient le réchauffé, le pré-fait. Plus de 30$ en gaufres plutôt décevant considérant la qualité et quantité.

Mon conjoint a pris un latte qu'il n'a pas fini, il goûtait le grain brulé.

Par contre, j'ai pris un jus fait maison et il était étonnamment délicieux comparativement au reste du repas.

Service rapide et courtois.

Je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant si vous désirez bien manger.

Delicious food but very expensive. I’m not very price sensitive while on vacation but the bill was more than I would find reasonable even for a resort town. And serving coffee in a disposable cup in a sit-down restaurant didn’t help.

Slightly disappointed with this place. The waffles were quite dry and didn’t really have much flavour to them. We were grateful they had a bottle of syrup on the table to make up for it. Was quite surprised to be served a caramel macchiato in a to go cup, which wasn’t the best either. Overall, the service was good, our waiter was lovely, just a shame about the food and drinks. Definitely more of a takeaway place than a place to sit and eat.

I loved every part of this beautiful place! The fresh fruit juices, the amazing coffee and the awesome meni make this place really good, the staff make it great! So kind and smiley

Unique little place, great eats, decent prices and so many options! From coffee, milkshakes, desert or breakfast waffles of all sorts. Healthy options and fun options. A mom and papa feel. And the special chipolte sauce on maple bacon waffle mmmm like non other! Fresh delicious we emptied our plates. Plus in and out in a decent amount of time. Only thing i would change is real cheese over processed and a darker roast for coffee. An absolute must check out!

Really yummy and fast service! From the food to the smoothies and coffee there is so much to choose from!

First time eating at Wafflato. It was delicious! I ordered the Blueberry, maple waffles with a side of sausage and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles with an egg on top. The waffles were cooked to perfection. We were seated, served and finished eating in less than 45min. Excellent service, good quality food, and really good prices for everything on there menu. Will be coming back next time we're in Jasper.

Delicious breakfast. Love that it’s all day; we popped in around 11. Lots of menu options. We had the savoury waffles with hash browns & it was very good.

Fantastic food here. This was my first time coming in and I'll def be back. I had the Jerk chicken waffle with mixed berry smoothy and it was fantastic. I'll be back.

Good breakfast and friendly service. Bathroom area and hallway to it is not a great sight. Needs a little fixing and modernizing. Floor was vibrating, not sure from what so felt like a massage table.

Wipe cream on the waffle is too good to be true for sugar lover, if you don’t want too much sugar the regular brunch is like the normal standard in a normal city, small restaurants, good for take out, parking is just on the other side of street, good restaurant to have in jasper!

Excellent waffles! Soft yet crispy, very good. I had the chicken and waffles which had a sweet chili sauce, very good. The sunrise waffle was great. We also had a peanut butter espresso shake that was marvelous

Waffles! Tried the Healthy Banana Waffles and the Chicken n Waffles - both good. Generous portions and good prices. Also had breakfast smoothies; so yummy we went back in the afternoon for milkshakes:) if you’re looking for something different for breakfast or a beverage, this is the place to try!

It was my first time to visit Jasper and me and a friend was craving for something sweet after a hike, we found ourselves at this place and so glad we did. Queenie was our server, she was very welcoming and patient with us as we couldn’t decide what to get as the items on their menu were all looks good. I ended up ordering the healthy banana waffle and requested for a scoop of gelato and a caramel syrup too! Their hot drinks were super yummy aswell! Highly recommended if you will ever visit Jasper! I was excited for the place but it's really just below mediocre. The service was terrible. The server didn't know what was going on and even forgot the water. Food was below average. The portion was tiny. Waffle was the only thing that was decent.

I was very excited to go to wafflato after reading the reviews but left not having been overly impressed. I ordered the banana waffle with chocolate drizzle instead of caramel, it came with whipped cream. I also got breakfast sausages added on and a mocha. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles with hash browns.
My waffle was good, but the sausages were barely warm when I got them. I usually don’t review places, but it kind of sucked. I love breakfast sausages and they are usually hot, so having them lukewarm was off putting. I also had to remind them about my mocha because it seemed like they forgot. I used to be a waitress so I get things get busy, but the servers didn’t communicate with each other and I don’t think they knew what was happening at the restaurant.
My boyfriends meal, had a special Siracha, maple, glaze over the chicken and waffles. There was 4 lines of the glaze across the chicken and waffles so they were skimpy with that. His waffles were also dry and brittle. He never got hasbrowns, he was instead given home fries.
We paid but we wouldn’t go back, and won’t recommend this place to people.

We dined in Jasper Wafflato and ordered different kinds of Omelettes all without Bacon and Ham looking for Halal options and everything tasted great! Their Bombay street style omelette was top notch! Yummy chocolate waffle was ‘yummy’! Awesome service by the staff! Great selection of fresh juices! We all loved our meals! Keep

This. Place. Is. It! Their breakfast menu is an absolute beauty. The food itself is delicious as well! You won't be disappointed, make sure you get some of their fresh squeezed juice, too! Can't wait to come back here one day. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Came here for a quick breakfast sometime a few months back — we were in need of some sweets to brighten our day and this place served waffles!

Loved that they weren’t too sweet — but I have more of a savoury tooth than my partner and I have to say their hash browns (which are served more like small potato wedges) are the BEST.

Definitely recommend!

Intimate informal space with vertically no wait time, even at peak hours. All day breakfast with unique menu items (Jerk chicken waffle,) as well as all the traditional stuff. Full espresso bar and friendly staff make this one of my favourite Jasper spots.

Stuck us at a table so small we could hardly eat at pushed up against the wall in the back of the restaurant by a door where employees kept coming through and hitting my fiancés chair. Food was good but the experience was so uncomfortable that I gave 2 stars.

I'm a bit late writing this review as I promised the owner I would write one when I was visiting a month ago.

This place is awesome. Very friendly staff, service was quick, and the food is just amazing. Best waffle place I've ever tried! Cannot wait to go back and have some more! This place is a must try for anyone visiting Jasper. Would highly recommend making this one of your first stops before heading up for a day of skiing / snowboarding.

Our family had a DELICIOUS waffle brunch today! Beautiful visual presentation. The waffles were so fluffy and sweet: we had the Strawberry Delight, the Sunrise Waffle, the Maple Bacon Cheddar, and the Savoury Avocado Waffle, the Vanilla Café latte and Dirty Hot Chocolate - didn’t leave a morsel behind! A family business with terrific service!

Loved the fried chicken waffle and street omelette is a must… Really friendly team… Would Definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch

This place was super great! Good portion size and great price to go with it. Waffle had a good taste to it. Also got the fresh pressed juice, it was a good size.

The hashbrowns are amazing.

The food is just amazing. I ordered jerk chicken with waffles and my fiance got Avocado toast and everything tasted so good. The jerk chicken was so juicy and the seasoning was just right.

I had Blueberry and Maple waffles both mornings as they were delicious. We came in as a party of 12. Everyone received their food basically at the same time everyone received what they ordered and the separate bills were correct both time we went there as it was everyone’s favourite. We had dietary concerns; gluten-free and gluten free lactose free. There was a nice selection for them as well and the girls with the gluten-free issues received extra tomato slices with fresh greens as they didn’t want toast. The second morning we were there the waiter remembered us and seated us even through we had our photo ID’s and vaccination certificates out. We truly appreciated their efforts with such a large group. Next time we are in Jasper we will be coming back!

We tried this place based on the reviews on here, unfortunately Dennys would have been a better option for our money. I was also disheartened when we saw how the kitchen staff were preparing our food, hence the 1 star rating. The waffles looks great in photos, and we were expecting it to be the star of the dish but even store bought waffles tastes better.

The food was good and the service was over all good but they could be way better than this. The plates were missing the warmth and hospitality. There was something missing I know price wise for a place in jasper they are quiet good but I went there once and didn’t want to again. The best thing they had was the ice cream and they had line ups for that.

Went to this god awful waffle shop on our last breakfast.we ordered the Good morning breakfast and sunrise waffle takeout. They got the toast wrong (multigrain vs white) - for anyone that hates multigrain you know how painful this is.to add salt to the wound, we were missing all condiments: no ketchup, syrup, jam/butter/anything.reading other reviews, this was common - maybe they're cost saving but the condiments do not come with the food!

waffles were NO BUENO to put it nicely there was no flavor.how can this place call themselves wafflato but the waffles tasted the worse than the continental breakfast at the hotel room? We're huge waffle/pancake fans but this was the worst one we've tasted to date. The other glowing reviews from other users were made probably because they were hungry or they come from a small town and dont know what edible food is. If you're going to be paying 16 dollars for two eggs two sausage and two bacon and a hash brown you'll find it cheaper at nester's market. I can't help to feel anger and betrayal that i've wasted my hard earned money at such a tourist trap of a restaurant.its like going to the hard rock cafe and expecting good food.don't get me wrong i feel terrible for leaving such a bad review during a global pandemic where restaurants are hit the hardest but just like a forest grows bigger and better from a forest fire, this place needs to improve.

Also, the person on the phone kept having to ask her manager for simple pricing / ingredient questions, seemingly as if a customer answered the phone?

we drove to a nice lookout to enjoy the food but even the most beautiful view couldn't save this meal.this felt like going to a sunset grill in a third world country

Got the jerk chicken waffle, doesn’t taste like jerk chicken but its really good! I would give it a 5/5 but my waffle was soggy and cold. But taste was great! I would ask the servers to make a fresh waffle and serve while hot! They have an outdoor patio and service is really good! Also tried their marshmallow waffle with ice cream- 5/5!

Terrible experience, morning has been ruined by having breakfast here. Very slow service, rude personal. Plus, they forgot order and had to wait for 40 mins

Can be a little bit of a wait due to staff shortages. But it is definitely worth it, the fried chicken waffle is absolutely delicious for breakfast, lunch or diner. The staff were super friendly and courteous even if they were being over worked due to the staff shortages.

Watered down coffee, below average soggy "waffles". Not a good experience overall. Waffle batter did not taste like anything out of the ordinary so sadly nothing really to write home about. Will certainly not be returning for future town visits unless there is improvement with their waffles and customer service.

This is the best place for breakfast / brunch. We loved the Asian street omelette and went there twice during our recent trip to Jasper. Food is really delicious and service is good too. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome and friendly place with lot options to choose from and of course the beautiful patio, much needed waffle place for Jasper.

Amazing food and drinks. The green machine drink was absolutely delicious, and the babyccino was great but not overly thick, which I loved. Very smooth. The Asian eggs were great but the hashbrowns were the Star for me. The savoury goat cheese waffle was amazing, the waffle was crunchy on the outside and super soft inside. Lightly sweet as well. Great combo. Definitely a must for breakfast

Very nice breakfast! Very decent price as well, only feedback is you guys need to get a working stove, the smoke can really get stuffy inside. Other than that the service was great!

Perfect place for a Quick breakfast or lunch that is so delicious and will give you all the énergie for your activities. Everything is good! Nice smoothie selection. I recommand!

I will give more than 5 stars if I had the option. We visited this place on Sun for breakfast. It was packed with people, still the staff was very courteous and welcoming. The food was so delicious that we went there again the next morning. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone who will visit Jasper.

Food is very tasty. Waffles were so delicious. Avocado toasts with sunny eggs are flavourful with all ingredients working together. Even coffee was good! (I preferred the regular coffee to cafe Americano)
A bit of casual cafeteria vibe but the food is worth it. Also the best bang for the buck compared to other brunch places.
