50$ for horrible men pedicure job… the pedicure lady not doing good nicely job at all. My pedicure is completely not polish clean. Never again.

I’ve been going here for years. Love them so much. Always so kind and friendly and my nails always look 10/10!

They just want your money; Shape, length and thickness was uneven throughout my nails. When I booked my appointment I was told one price and after my appointment they tell you a different price. Was a basic nail fill with one color, Don’t recommend. Will not be returning back.

The experience was very bad. Service was horrible my appointment was at 5: 30pm they made me wait for 30 minutes till they could start doing my nails. And they are also racist. There was a lady already doing my nails but when two new girls came in they asked the lady doing my nails to go do their nails who Bdw didn’t have appointment. And they asked a training girl to do my nails which is okay she did great job but this made me feel so unwelcomed. All the staff was not welcoming. Also hated the part where I was told if you need long nails there would extra charge. I paid 80 dollars for acrylic nails full set with just solid colour nail paint costed me this. I have done my nails so many times in Ontario and I haven’t paid this much just for solid nail paint. I am very disappointed and I will not ever be going there and also will tell my friends not to go there.

VERY VERY RUDE OWNER AND HER NATIVE STAFF!

Firstly they can’t speak fluent English because of which they cannot give you any kind of needful suggestions for nails.
Instead if you ask any suggestions showing them reference picture they simply state the price!

I want to share my experience so I was didn’t liked the way my nail colour turned out, I asked her to change the nail paint on which she told that I have to pay her $20 extra which I agreed because I valued her time and efforts.
However even after I told her that I’ll pay extra money she began speaking to the owner in their native tongue and flashing me icy looks.

Such a ridiculous experience I had with them. I would kindly ask anyone who decides where to go on based on review to take my review as extremely legitimate and save yourself the time and money.

This location was good not anymore I waste my time more then 2 hours regular nail service. Not valuable Service. I try to talk Nail salon Manager, she wasn’t response anything really unprofessional 0 star

I got my nails done and they cut my finger and let the blood come out and then it got infected if you want a good place to get your nails done don’t come here

It was my second time at jb nails,
They never disappoint you. I really appreciate the efforts they do to make their customers happy. I showed them a picture and they gave me the exact Thank you Jb nails.

I can’t comment on the service since I was not able to receive the services I booked for.
I was so excited when I found a nail salon close to home figured I would give them a try instead of going to my normal place (a fat drive). I call JB’s and booked for an acrylic fill and lash extensions was told they can do same day at 4: 00pm great! I arrived at 3: 50pm was told to sit at a desk up front up against the wall I sat waiting and listening was getting very frustrated when they kept telling people to come in for appointments at 5 pm when it was already 4: 30 and they hadn’t started someone who had an appointment at 4pm and it did not look like any tech was available or would be available any time soon finally at 4: 40 I got up and said I was leaving the lady said oh just wait 15 more mins I said no thank you as I had already sat waiting for 40 mins and I knew more people where coming in at 5 pm. Not a good way to make a first impression I don’t think I will be giving them a try I’ll just stick with driving further to my normal place.

Excellent Staff, great service received more that I asked for. Amazing job will be returning again and again I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

I got my nails set removed by pardeep. Amazing lady. She is the most sweetest and nicest person. Took care of my nails so gently, shaped and even clear code them at the end. In my 4years of nails experience; this was far the best way of handling I ever had. I had very thick powder that was going into her eyes but she didn’t even get lil frustrated. It’s very common to hear them say please put ur hand like this or do this nd that. But that girl worked her best without any complain. THANK YOU SO MUCH PARDEEP for your amazing customer service.

They ruined my nails and my nails are bleeding from my cuticles now, i asked for long and they didn't do them right. I’m not satisfied with the services, i expressed dislike and the lady got mad at me and said “idk if you like them or not, if you happy or not, i do my best” i’ve never been this disheartened by any nail service before

An amazing place but kept me wait up to 10-15 min after the time of my appointment but it was all great.

There is a reason your average rating is 3.8 Staff are unprofessional. They do not listen to what you want rather they do what they feel is right. Don’t spend your money here. Find another place.

Worst experience Iever had. My nails took of literally after 10 days. Would never recommend any one and main there service is so rude. If there is zero star i would have given them.

This place is amazing! Me, my bf, and sister come here for pedicures and they fixed my broken nail even though they weren't the ones to do them. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service.

I am a regular customer from last three years. I was use to like this place but today i went for nails, the lady was new to me and she was little rude as i asked a question and she said she know what she is doing and i don't understand her. She cut my nails too short and uneven.if you guys expect us to pay full amount of service, please provide us a good service too. I am not happy with service at all. She did such a bad job that really don't wana go back. I have to find new nails place now.

Quality and customer service has gone down tremendously. You make an appointment and are still sitting there waiting for 40+ minutes because they took a handful of walk ins before you. Terrible.

I went in to get my nails done and at first the lady told me it was going to be $80 after I showed her the nails I wanted. Once she starts doing them I notice that the french tip isn't proper so I ask her to fix it, she starts getting annoyed that I want MY NAILS that I'M paying for to be how I would like? She then tells me if I want a simple line - from the design I showed her before it would be an extra $10. Which is so weird because she just told me it would be $80. Later on my mom comes in and I tell her how the lady didn't do my nails how I would like, so my mom tells her that she doesn't like my nails. The lady says "If you wanna add the line, take your own advice not you moms, because she doesn't know what she's talking about" like excuse me? These people have no respect for customers, do not go here!

Walked in to get new set of solar nails. Asked for them to be square with rounded corners. 1st person to do nails was the wife. She spent more time on her cell phone then doing nails the left the building. 2nd person was the sister. Whi kept coughing and sniffing. All the nails look different. They ate not square. Some are almost. Some are curved inward in the middle of nail. Need to find a place to fix them.first and last visit.

I came in with a specific request for short French manicure. I asked 3 TIMES for the cost.because I didn’t want to pay more than $55-60 for the set. All three times I was told $55 for what I wanted by TWO diff people. First issue is I didn’t understand the method being used on my nails and when I asked what he was doing to get the French tip he said don’t worry. My French tips are all diff sizes and the nail beds aren’t all the same shape…. I let it slide and then was annoyed at the end when I realized my cuticles weren’t cared for and my hands were dry as ever… no lotion nothing. I get to the register and they proceed to tell me it’s $67! When I came in I saw another woman upset about not receiving the services she paid for and I should have left in that moment. This place is horrible, they wouldn’t look at my nails to see the service I complained about OR show compassion for the fact that THEY WERE NOT CLEAR ON THE PRICE.and the treatment around it was disgusting. I’ll never go back and I’ll be sharing this on the radio so more people are aware of this place. I LEFT FEELING HORRIBLE. Good luck if you choose to come here, it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Very bad service they don’t like to put nail polish thick coat red colour looks pink … very disappointed that’s why this is cheap, they did not clean extra nail polish too … they ruined my function … I don’t want to go there anymore … you too don’t go …

Always a positive experience. The staff is nice and takes their time. They are consistent in service and are always well staffed to meet customer needs. I only get my nails done a handful of times in the year but I always will choose to come to JB.

My experience was excellent! My mum love it here. We met Ms. Tina and Ms. Jenny and they were both amazing at what they do they took time to give us the best service.

We are going to visit again.

There’s is man speaks so rudely he doesn’t wash his hands and dealing withmany clients. After I was finished with my nails he speaks rudely to me and said “I need a chair”. We pay for the service and at least give us a nice experience rather being rush and rude.

My mother just went in for a mani pedi and was overjoyed with the results of her pedicure. Immediately after they said they were too busy and kicked her out of the place not starting the manicure, she had a gift certificate as well. The customer service is BS and I wouldn’t recommend going here, as an esthetician you should take care of your clients not boot them out for being too busy, extremely rude and unprofessional of you guys, better nail salons in this area.

My wife went here a few months ago and a guy did her nails. Not only was he bad at his job, but he seemed more interested engaging in rumors with his coworker. He didn't listen to my wife, and kept cutting her off to gossip with his coworkers. What kind professionalism is this? Complete joke and a drama queen. A customer had to tell him to listen to my wife, and he acted like he was annoyed by her comment. Go else where. Reading the responses by the "owner" in these reviews, it's him that's responding. Combative, stubborn, and very egotistical. Zero starts if I could.

Very Bad. When they started the pedicure. They cut my toenail so bad that it was bleeding for me almost 20 mins and was keeping my feet in water until it stopped bleeding and no care at all. The And then I had to tell them that heals are not yet smooth then they made it smooth. Toenail is still in pain that I can't even walk properly.
Menicure was done in 10 mins that I don't even know what was actually done as I was in pain coz of bleeding. And then nail paint didn't even lasted for 4 hrs as I went to there in the evening and until dinner nail paint already started to Peel off.
Overall Vey Bad experience.

Really poor, hellen made my toe bleeding, not clean, not pro, expensive and no protection from Covid.
Don’t come back anymore

I am in Calgary for the night and booked last minute mani/pedicures for my sister, niece and myself.
Not only did they fit us in right away they were very friendly and gave exceptional service. Thanks ladies!

We went in here today for the first time as we have moved into this area and they were amazing! We didn't have an appointment but wanted to get pedicures done and we were taken in within 5 minutes.

They did such a great job. They were very thorough and we were not rushed like some of the other salons. The ladies were wonderful! Highly recommend this salon. The service and the prices are unbeatable! Will continue to treat myself for a weekly pedicure here.

I had an extremely horrific experience at this salon! DO NOT go here. The staff is beyond unprofessional and created a huge scene and were yelling at us because I wanted to clarify why the prices they quoted me were vastly higher than the posted rates. They kept rotating the nail techs and I had to keep explaining what I wanted (which was a simple French manicure). The lady refused to finish my nails half way through the service because she thought I didn’t look happy! They post a prices on their menus and keep upcharging a ridiculous amount and change the price as they wish. Very unpleasant experience, got to Lynn nails in Skyview instead.

I have been coming to this place for 2.5 years now. I always get simple gel polish 1 color done and I always book an appointment. The last few times I have booked an appointment I have waited almost 30 to 45 minutes to see a nail tech. In addition I had up to 3 different people working on me. I found it very unprofessional and rude. I noticed that customers who come to get a set done were being taken in much faster. The last time I sat with my nails wrapped in foil and accitone for 20 minutes.

My mom also went in today for a simple gel polish for hands and toes. The toe polish looked like a child had put it on and her hands needed a third coat. She was also rushed.

They use to be really really good. I am not sure why the quality has gone down significantly.

I love my group of ladies at JB Nails! They all do an awesome job at any of the services they offer. Excellent pedicures!

I got my nail done.and it came off and i wanted a different style however she painted my nail white and black and its not even a even shape

Absolutely love my nails, I always get them done from Helen. My nails always lift and when she does them its perfect and they don't lift. She also is really good at shaping as I like to change the shape every time and she never disappoints. I recommend going to her. Also they're prices are good compared to others and quality is great.

I’m regular customer for a reason. Very nice staff. All girls are very helpful and friendly. I get my nails done there regularly.

My mom and I have been coming here for a while now and we love the service we get every time! The ladies are the sweetest. Every nail tech takes the time to make sure each nail is the same shape and are even. The pedicure service is like no other, the hot stones are the best part! And they sell the orange scrub which smells amazing and leaves the hands and feet feeling so soft after using! 10/10 would recommend!

I always get my nails done in this salon. The staff are all very welcoming and accommodating. They would take me in even with short notice. And even when they’re busy, the quality of their service isn’t not compromised. I always get compliments for my nails so I absolutely recommend JB Nails in Skyview. Very professional.

I decided to try this place out because it was close to home, even after reading some of the older reviews.

So glad I did! The artists are meticulous and want your nails to be perfect. I have been quite a few times now and everytime my nails are gorgeous. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and have great design ideas.

JB Nails is my one! I have tried so many different nail salons in Calgary, trying to find the perfect one and l finally did! Everyone is so nice and accepting and I just love the vibe. The salon itself makes you feel right at home the moment you enter. Really professional and clean! Will definitely come back again and will recommend JB Nails to my friends.

Cannot say enough about the atmosphere, the service and positive vibe of everything and everyone in this salon/neighborhood gem! I just want to start hanging out there, the strength I get from these strong cheerful stylish ladies is just amazing! They took their time walking me through details, pre and post care, making sure I'm comfortable and not rushed, and I got awesome results. LOVE IT!

This place is too cute.the decor. It was very clean and well appointed. The atmosphere is comfortable. The staff is so friendly and did a wonderful job on my nails. They really take their time and aren't trying to rush you out so they can get to the next customer, nor do they sit there and try to sell you on upgrades so they can charge you extra. It was an experience unlike any other salon I've been to. I can not recommend this place enough.

Jessie is the best nail lady i’ve ever had. She puts in time and effort and overall is such a nice and friendly person. Everyone who works their is also wonderful and friendly and overall i would 100% recommend JB nails. I went to go get my nails done for my birthday and jessie did these for me and they are the best set of nails i’ve ever gotten. Cant wait to go back.

I walked in to JB Nails and Spa Skyview 30 mins before closing and I was shocked they didn't tell me to come back tomorrow. I got a gel pedicure and sns manicure. I didn't get their names but everyone who serviced me took their time and did an amazing job. I was in the salon probably until 8: 30 because they really took their time and my mani/pedi took great!

My first time coming here and I had an excellent experience. All the staff are very friendly and great at what they do. I showed them a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and they exceeded my expectations! They took their time and asked for multiple opinions to make sure my nails were perfect. The shape and length was perfect and look even better then the original picture! Best nail salon in Calgary by far!

Just moved to the neighborhood and this place is great! Really cute inside and very friendly people. My pedicure looks great - very clear attention to detail. Cuticles and accuracy with just about everything is all taken care of. They are incredibly meticulous and take their time! I won't go anywhere else!

I had a wonderful experience on my visit here. I haven't gotten a manicure and pedicure since before my pregnancy and after birth - almost 2 years - and I'm so glad I decided to get the manicure and pedicure. I were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked in. The manicurist was quick but her work was very clean and pain free. The pedicure was very relaxing. My feet never felt and looked so clean! Made the whole thing very relaxing and enjoyable without taking too long. Definitely will return.

The staff here is incredibly sweet, very talented technicians. Pricing is average for the city, but I find that it's completely worth it. They want you leaving proud of your nails and I sure am!
I was so happy with my nails I'm coming back again for sure!
