My husband and I went to the Jess Moskaluke Winter Wonderland Concert on Dec 16 and it was our first time at the venue. The staff, service and acoustics were excellent! Jess Moslaluke and The Praire State out on amazing concerts! Highly recommend this venue!
A great venue and a great concert. There are maybe 5 less desirable seats in the whole house. There acoustics are spot on. And, management does a great job of signing quality acts.
This theatre is an excellent location for any event. I've attended numerous events here, including concerts, ballets, dance competitions, and local plays. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff.
The size of the venue is perfect. It's not so big you can't see the performers on stage. The seat quality is pretty good but could have been plushier. The only real down side is the photo ban. Not sure if that's the act or venue, but it sucks.
The venue is on the small side, likely under 1500 seats, so quite intimate for a show like Terri Clarke that we saw there. It has an elevator for stairs challenged users of the balcony. Comfortable seats. Good acoustics.
Attended Ron James comedy evening and really enjoyed the show the Theatre. What a wonderful facility with easy access and great amenities. Would happily attend another event at the Lougheed Centre.
Went there for one of my kids dance competition so my experience was different then a show. Seats are comfortable bathrooms are clean (always a good sign).
I had never been in the center until I saw Beauty and the Beast there. Any place is a good seat since it is a smaller venue than ones in Edmonton or Calgary. Easy parking and easy to find.
The Shumka Nutcracker show was amazing! I loved it! They have a group of very talented dancers & singers, this is a must see this holiday season.
The show gets 5 stars, but the venue gets 2 stars, and the people running the event get 5 stars. So I will give a 3 star rating so people want to read why it only gets 3 stars.
The only complaint I have is; the floor seating chairs are NOT staggered, and a short person like me, is staring directly at the back of the head of the person in front, and I couldn't see the show! I had to dodge left & right of the person's head all night, and would miss anything centre stage! What a drag that was.
I suggest getting the edge of the balcony; or the seats on the side of the theater if you are short, or of limited mobility to be able to squirm in your seat all night!
