Jerusalem Shawarma - Richmond Road

One of the worst services, they make the delivery people wait for such a long time, and this happens many many times.

I Ordered the 2 person shawarma platter. It arrived with the hot food and the salad in the same metal tray. It was a soggy mess by the time it got delivered. It use to be in separate containers. If you’re going to give less food I’d rather it be in separate smaller containers.

The best shawarma I have had in Calgary. My bf and I went in today and got two plates the falafel is freshly cooked for every order and incredibly flavourful. Their wraps have lots of filling and stay together even the next day for lunch. The staff are always friendly and helpful even when they are busy. Renovations look beautiful and love that they have a selection of traditional drinks, pop and fresh juices.

It made me completely satisfied from there shawarmas to there backlava and tea would definitely recommend the customer service was excellent kind polite and had a lot of experience in there work will come again for sure.

The food here is flavourful, fresh and delicious. Lots of options to choose from. Portions are generous served up by the smiling friendly staff. Definitely would eat there again!

When we order shawarma, this means that we want shawarma. It is not reasonable to order shawarma when the plate comes with 90 percent of it rice. The main order is shawarma, not rice. If I want to order rice, there are other restaurants that I can order from.

Really great food and very nice service. They were swamped at dinner time but still managed to get fresh food out relatively quickly.

Great place and great food. Giving 3 stars only because every time I go there to add FRIES in my meal, they always said it’s not available. So why put it on the menu if the item is “OUT OF STOCK” all the times. I really like their fries but most of the time it’s not available. Please fix it

I came here yesterday and order a chicken shawarma. I waited over 25 minutes for the sandwich, but it was worth it in the end.

Ordering an hour ahead for pickup, only to receive my order 20mins late and delaying evening plans. While I doubt they weren't busy, and I'm sure food is good as usual, this really ticked me off, and won't come to this location again

Food is great. But it took 30 min to make my 1 single wrap.

Kept forgetting I was alone and made other groups orders before me, then forgot what my order was so I had to tell them.

Hands down the best garlic sauce in the city! The shawarmas are awesome too. Lots of great things in the menu for all different types. Delivery is amazingly quick and always fresh. Great quality ingredients are used and it shows and makes a difference. I highly recommend giving this place a try, prices are great for what you get.

Irfan is quite knowledgeable and creative with the Shawarma making art. Hala is always welcoming and provides excellent customer service. Overall the staff is great.

Garlic sauce had barely any garlic, donair meat was soggy and not as seared as expected. The clerk was helpful with assisting me with my improper order. I've been here twice now and both times I felt I should have asked for my money back. This place is across the way from where I live, I was hoping it would have really worked out

Kid taking my order had no idea what he was doing, came to my car and told me he gave me the wrong beef wrap and gave me the “right wrap”. Get home and it isn’t the same one and I was given a vegetarian wrap. Clear as he has not been properly trained.

Come here is you like getting raging diarrhea. Twice now I have gotten sick. Gave them a chance after the first time, no more for me.

I saw an article about a health inspection blunder at this location, but I've never had any issues (just be aware of that if you have any auto-immune disorders).

I simply liked their food. I always get great customer service here. The place is always clean and the workers are always friendly. Will come visit again.

Paid with cash, the person making my order took the cash and proceeded to make my meal with the same gloves. I asked him to change his gloves after handling things other than the food with his gloves. He did but continued with the same meal he already handled with the dirty gloves. Having already paid for it I didnt want to make a scene and just took my maybe contaminated food. During a pandemic this is unacceptable

First I would like to say that the girl that worked at the cash register was absolutely wonderful and she deserves a raise.
I told her that it is my birthday and the meal was to save me from having to cook.
And now for the extremely disappointing part:
This is my favorite place to go so every time I want to have a meal out or in this case don't want to cook, I go and eat at this particular location. This time though the 3 gentlemen that it took to fill my not so large order took 0 care for the food, everything was way smaller than any time before (even the girl told them that the salad should be bigger) and was tossed in such a matter in the boxes that it was disgusting. Sauce all over the place inside and outside the box, everything was a mess. And that's how I served the meal to my dad and my brother, even they asked what happened when they saw it (and they are not picky).

I work next door to this place. I come here at least once a week. I am a die-hard fan of Lebanese food. I have eaten at every esteemed donair/shawarma establishment in this city, and I am telling you, this specific location of Jerusalem Shawarma does it best.

The people are the best, they're fast and passionate. The food comes in enormous sizes that (while you don't have to finish) is good either as leftovers or fresh at the restaurant. The place is clean and has both vegetarian and meat-loving choices.

This place has ruined Shawarma in this city for me- every other place is disappointing. This is the best one. Eat here, you won't regret it.
