I was dining with my family one day here, and one of the employers asked a delivery driver to confirm pickup in front of him. This made the delivery driver look like he was stealing the food

Always a wonderful experience here. Today I stayed and sat for awhile, working on some studies. Francis offered me tea and baklava with a smile. Just a very welcoming, generous experience. It feels like hanging out in a family home with people cooking in the background. The staff here I feel are genuinely kind to the customers. Not because they have to be, but because they just are. Francis was smiling and in good spirits with all the customers that came through. Just a very nice vibe. Thank you Francis!

My go to place for authentic Arabic style shawarma! Serving is always generous and food is always prepared fresh.
I love that they now serve some hot tea, and it’s delicious. Everything here takes me back to my Arabia days.
My 2 little boys are also seated comfortably and I am able to enjoy my food every time I dine in. I’ve been here many times and am always happy, they never disappoint.

My husband and I have been ordering here online and dine in, their food are absolutely deliscious specially with their sauces. The amount of food that we ordered is just perfect. Staff are very friendly, approachable and fast.

I love the food, they have a great menu. Not sure if it was the heat or a bad day but the lady making the food didn't listen to what I wanted, was curt and grumpy.
I will go back because the food is good.

We’ve been getting food from Jerusalem in Shawnessy for the past 4 years. Their food taste really good and the atmosphere is always happy and welcoming & your always greeted with a smile my kids who are very picky eaters really enjoys the food but the fries our there favourites. We met Ali tonight for the first time and just like all the rest he’s kind and greeted my husband and I with a friendly smile and some good tea thank you Ali.

Went to Jerusalem Shawarma for lunch today, I was served by Francis he was so so kind and efficient. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. A definite must try.

This has been my favourite restaurant since I moved to Calgary 5 years ago; the taste is consistent, the portions have a very good size, the quality is always really good and the team that works there is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate your requests, specially Mariam, who is always holding a smile; this is why I keep coming and inviting my friends, you guys never let me down.

I am a frequent customer at this location and really enjoy coming here. The food is super fresh, tastes great, and comes in good portion sizes. The staff are also friendly and welcoming. I recommend getting a shawarma plate so you can have a variety of things to try.

Jerusalem Shawarma Shawnessy Staff are Awesome, Marya offered tea when we dined in, Other staff are great as well, They were very nice to asked us how's our food and we enjoyed it. Overall it was an awesome experience, Definitely will come back to dine in.

I can't believe what I just paid for. The most absolutely charred black, burnt, dry chicken imaginable. $20 shish tawouk chicken skewers. They must have been on the grill since this morning. I am not kidding. Inedible. Meant to be a treat for us. And the rice was dry and undercooked. Is there no quality control anymore going on before food goes out the door? Waste of hard earned money.

It is a very nice experience at this location for the first customer at Jerusalem shawarma, they are very nice, approachable, and friendly. The store are very clean and well maintained.

Really had a bad experience at this place. Waited for more 45mins for a simple royal kabab plate. They said that my order takes a while. Fine. When it was finally ready, they missed the fries as it was a combo. Waited for another 10mins and apparently I was waiting for nothing as they actually didn't cook any fries yet! So disappointed with this place! Lll

The platters and plates are excellent. Probably my favourite garlic sauce I have had ever, and the rice is good, but stay away from the donairs. They are not balanced and are soggy as ***. Too much sauce and loaded with too much stuff where you can't pick it up and eat it. Donairs are not good at all.

Yesterday we went for a bite to eat and ordered the Arabi beef and chicken shawarma. (Pictures taken after we already ate some.) WOW. Huge portions of the most delicious food I've had in a month. Huge portion of coleslaw, pile of fries and 6 pieces of wrapped goodness. After I ate the coleslaw and fries and one piece of wrap I was full! I enjoyed a second meal today. Too bad I couldn't put an extra star for the pricing. Each platter pictured was 11.99! Beats McDonald's price and 10x the flavour. Well done gentlemen.

Most amazing staff! I'd give them 6 stars if I could. The food was on point and Taher was so kind, giving us samples of their desserts and tea. He went above and beyond! We will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I ordered 2 chicken shawarmas and fries from here and they were the best shawarmas we have tried! It was so fresh and tasty! The french fries were also delicious and the service was fantastic! We definitely will be coming back! Thank you!

Love this place. The customer service is unreal! It has become a staple for grocery trips into the city. They always remember us and give our daughter a little dish of rice and potatoes of her own while we enjoy our loaded beef shawarmas. Always leave happy. Thanks guys!

This place is awesome. They are my go to place when I visit calgary. The portions are huge; I can never finish the whole meal and require a to go box. The varying taste and flavors from the platters, never disappoints. If you have never gone, then you are definitely missing something in your life.

Its a usual place to go for anytime shawarma.but my visit here last Tuesday made me think about other options. The person over here was really not willibg to serve, I asked for a falafel wrap, the wrap was not folded properly falafel usually are offered fresh but this one was cold and not cooked properly, the dressing inside wrap was over done and thus made it drip. I really wish they make some changes to this.

Staff are customer focus. Simo, one of the pioneer staff is very friendly and always exceed expectations. And the food are great.

Great portions and good taste of food. I recommend to get there royal platter lamb skewer is the catch. Might say one of best shawarma place in calgary. Quality of service is very inconsistent. Got a wrap with half the meat of the previous visit. For 12 dollars to get barely any meat is very disappointing.

My husband and I order from here at least once a week and its always amazing. However, what really makes this place and keeps us coming back is the staff! Simo and his whole team are so friendly, and generous! (Holla extra falafel!) Even when they are slammed we always get greeted with a smile and a hello. Garlic potatoes are where it’s at, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They are extremely busy with SkipTheDishes orders so be kind! If you’re in the area stop by, it’s never a long wait ordering inside, and why not when the staff is stellar!

Probably one of the most amazing service I’ve ever gotten so far. Staff was was helpful, courteous, and extremely friendly, especially the manager who interacted with us in the kindest manner. Their presence is just overall very warm and welcoming. The food is the best we’ve had out of all the shawarma places we’ve tried. Will definitely come back again and again!

I really wanted to like this place given all of the positive reviews. I ordered through Skip the Dishes, it was my first order with Skip and Jerusalem. I ordered the Lamb Kebab Plate with extra garlic sauce, first of all, there was no garlic sauce on the plate or extra garlic sauce with the order. The Lamb was so overcooked and tough that it was inedible. The Hummus has absolutely no flavour whatsoever, I know that it is very subtle tasting, but there was nothing. On the positive side, the potatoes, salad and rice were very good. It just wasn't at all what I expected, I probably won't order from here again. Very disappointed, not worth the money.

EDIT: The owner got in touch with me and offered to replace my meal. Excellent customer service.

EDIT: I gave this place a second try tonight. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. The food was so good, and the staff were super friendly. The plates were so large, I have enough left for lunch tomorrow. I will definitely be back to try the Falafel.

Food is always great, nice and very friendly staff.
But my order was messed up! I asked the potato to be separated but it was mixed with all other food, I felt so bad since it was for my daughter who has severe allergy!

And the food here is awesome! Tasty, delicious with good healthy combinations that you can choose from. They are all good in listening to what I want with my food order. The cooks are so darn friendly! My daughter did not like the item she chose so the chef asked her what she would like instead? And she said fries! He made them for her without hesitation or expectation.amazing people here!

I love all Jersusalem Shawarmas but this one is my absolute favorite. Simo is literally the worlds nicest person. Food is always incredible, quick and during covid they have taken every precaution. Have I mentioned that Simo is literally the nicest man ever? ! His customer service and personality has motivated me to leave this 5 stars after I have frequented this place many many times.
