This place is 10/10. I’ve been coming here a long times. Nic and the rest of the family provide amazing food and amazing service.

The staff was so helpful preparing small plates that we could try to choose what to order. The food was delicious! Thank you. This was our first visit!

This place and their donairs are a MUST try if you’re in YYC or passing through!

I’ve been in Alberta for nine years now and I have yet to find a place that has Donairs that come anything even close to what you can get on the East Coast… until I tried this place last week Via recommendation!

This place HAS THE RIGHT SWEET SAUCE! + the amount of meat you get and the size is absolutely amazing! VERY adorable too. Like these prices are unheard of! And you will be satisfied.

I sound like an Walking ad for this place. Haha …but seriously loved every bit of my experience, and it was really memorable.
The staff are so friendly and sweet, and very family oriented. Vibes are great.

Ex: It was one of their birthdays, and as we were checking out, they gave us a free slice of their delicious birthday cake. (Thank you again - so unexpected and so sweet of you)

We tried falafel, hummus, chickpea, salad, feta, rice, beef Samosa, beef Donair, and chicken Shawarma.

We also picked up some spices (I haven’t tried yet)

And I also should mention they did have a lot of options in their refrigerator Coolers for drink options. From low calorie and sugar to traditional sodas.

I must say not everything was for our personal taste but the beef donair and feta was my favourite and I’d recommend it to anyone

I felt welcome right away, the staff are very friendly and helpful! The Food is delicious, I crave their shawarma bowls, baclava, and garlic sauce. My order came with a generous amount of food too.
I've eaten here 8 times now and I am always satisfied with my experience.

Jimmy's has been my family's go-to shawarma spot for many many years. I have introduced many people to their shawarmas and haven't met someone who didn't like it. They give you a generous serving of meat, they make you laugh, feel welcome, and the food is good quality.
Many years ago when our mum was sick Jimmy's mother came to the hospital and delivered shawarmas to our family. Its been over ten years and I will never forget the kindness she showed us. Lots of appreciation for your family and I'm very happy to see your business growing

I got the Gluten Free Honey Cake, which tastes and smells like it has been in the fridge for too long! Disgusting! Just don't sell it if you can't sell it!

Best donairs in Calgary. The plate is okay, wouldn’t get it again since the donairs are so good. Staff is amazing!

One of my favourite spots for a donair in town. A bit of a lineup but it's worth it. Super friendly family and staff behind the counter.

Food? Amazing. Chicken shawarma is to die for. People? Incredible. They’re always the nicest and I always love my interactions. Experience 10/10. Try the pistachio baklava, it’s some of the best I’ve had.

The owner is hilarious and so nice, very nice atmosphere it's homey even though it's busy. The food is the absolute best! I have to come here every time I visit Calgary. The baklava is to die for! Very kind and fast service from all the staff as well.

This was our first dining experience in Calgary visiting from the US, and it was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Jimmy's has been my go to place for shawarma for more than two decades, and it never fails to remind me of why. Delicious food!

The donairs are deadly and the chicken samosas are wicked. The staff are always friendly and courteous.

Wraps are very small for what you pay compared to other places - $16 wrap and I left hungry. Garlic sauce wasn't that great either. Chicken shawarma meat was partially seasoned and not charred at all. Beef donair also lacking in the flavour and the rotisserie charring. They are very hospitable and did give samples beforehand, I can't speak to the lamb wrap but the sample I had of it was pretty good.

The best donair gyro ive ever had! Was visiting from ontario and no spot here beats what i had at this place.absolutely perfection!

I’m from Ontario, and have had so many shawarma/gyro spots. This place hands down was the best I’ve ever had. Food was amazing. Garlic sauces were unique, not your standardized garlic. Customer service was awesome. They help you suggest what the best food on the menu is as well. Felt like I was talking to one of my boys.

Their sweet sauce is phenomenal, never tasted a sauce like that before. The customer service was absolutely incredible. I am from Toronto and this is by far the best shawarma I have ever tried. Very generous portion sizes! Overall the food, service and atmosphere was amazing

The best shwarma I have ever eaten. This will be a staple anytime I visit Calgary. The dolmates and cabbage rolls were excellent as well. Going to be dreaming about this place until next time

Call me my girlfriend decided to check out Jimmy‘s and A today and overall the experience was quite well. Our food was very very good The donair was a giant, which I can respect. The only reason I give them four stars and not five is because when paying the guy behind the cashier punched in his own tip I was going to tip them anyways, but it was just a little weird.

I've been coming here since 2007 and they never compromise quality! Kudos to the owner and staff. GREAT DONAIR and I don't mind driving here and lining up just to get one as they are fast anyway, so not really a long wait after all. A must try in CALGARY if you're new in town or just visiting.
