Joe’s Garage Bicycle Rental and Repair

Rented bikes here while staying at the Westley Calgary by Hilton which was a short walk. Bike rental went smoothly, and Joe personally checked every bike before we left. Loved biking in Calgary as there are so many bike trails that are separated from walking trails. Will rent from Joe again when in the area.

With Joe, you will always get honest advice. The price he quotes is never over the top, and services are exceptional. Did complete overall and haven't encountered any issues!

Very friendly staff, reasonable prices. They charge you upon your return of the bike which is great, it allows you to not worry about a time limit and just bring it back whenever you're finished for the day which can save you money and stress.

Great bike rental, friendly owner and great suggestion of bike route. The shop is right on the trail of the Bow River, perfect for a great bike ride.

We had a great experience renting bikes from Joe’s. The location was perfect and the bikes were easy to ride. Joe was very personable, and he made suggestions for us as to where to ride. We would definitely rent bikes from him again.

Liv was able to fix my flat even though they were pretty busy, the service was prompt. This garage went above and beyond, and also took care of my chain which was in some serious need of maintenance.

I had a flat tire on my baby's stroller and couldn't get a hold of the company to order a replacement tire for months! Joe was kind enough to fix my tire and even followed-up to make sure it was working. Truly grateful:)

We did a 2 day rental. Owner is easygoing, flexible, friendly and helpful. We probably did 80 k and I'd say the bikes are a bit taxing on the body for long rides, but were solid and dependable. Invincible locks added training ballast up hills.

Stopped in for a screw to latch my water bottle holder and Joe was not only helpful by giving my a freebie and the wrench to do the work but he didn’t charge me for the favour. Kudos!

Popped a tube and Joe had exactly what I needed plus he leant me the tools and space to fix it. Fantastic and friendly guy! Great selection of rental bikes too!

If you are looking to rent a bicycle or twenty for the day in Calgary, then this is the place for you! I made a reservation with Joe a week in advance and he was very accommodating. Communication was quick and clear over email and phone. The bikes were comfortable, and the bike trailer for a little one worked great. One of the guys in our group had the chain fall off at the start of the ride, and the employee at the bike rental took care of it immediately without issue. Location and price are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Went to Taste of Calgary today and Joe watched our ebikes and let us store our helmets while we tasted. First class nice guy.

What a great place to rent a bike! Friendly, expert advice, very well-maintained bikes, and right on a downtown bikeway that connects to the whole system. Very highly recommended!

Amazing experience! The owner and employees were incredibly helpful and so kind, helping us find our tourist destinations with directions. We had such a fun time cycling and were very pleased with the rates offered.

My chain came off while I was riding on the pathway and I didn't have the tools to fix it properly. I've ridden by the path side set-up a few times and knew it wasn't far, so I circled back and stopped to see if I could get it looked at. Joe was super helpful and gave my bike a tune up, fixing the chain and a couple of other things, and the price was totally reasonable. I'm grateful that he took the time, since I hadn't called first and he was busy. Saved me walking my bike all the way home, and I couldn't be happier.

If you want to actually petal and not be electric, this is your go to. Has a couple of roadbikes too. Honest and friendly guy, with very fair pricing. Feels good supporting a local outfit. I popped a tire and replaced it. He took the cost of the replacement off my rental. That was appreciated. Recommend Joe and the team. They are friendly and very fair!

Master technicians in my opinion, was having trouble with E bike no one could of fixed it except this guy.never buy from Walmart or none bike shop places.specially E bikes.

Joe is the best. Went to him twice in the last few weeks with no notice and he helped me out on the spot both times. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for bike repairs. Will definitely be back!
