Joey's Seafood Restaurants Sherwood Park

The clam chowder Friday Nov. 10 was so watery. Good thing it had a few tasty bits. Such a huge disappointment.

Honestly the first time we've walked out of a restaurant. We were there with 3 little ones and there were only 3 other people total in the restaurant. Took 5 minutes to acknowledge us at the door. 2 other couples walked in as well as 2 take out orders after we did all of whom were greeted and served before our order was even taken. After waiting 30 minutes for someone to take our order we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. We did not leave tips and they're lucky we didn't just walk out on the bill. Will never be going back to this location.

We really enjoyed our fish and chips. Also had fish tacos which were presented nicely. Everything came fresh and hot to the table. Our server Calli gave the upmost customer service. She is very personable, and such a pleasure to have such good service.

The food was great - tasty and fresh. And Callie is an amazing server. She made us feel very comfortable and at home. We are definitely coming back to dine here again.

We went to Joey's a bit before closing. Callie Was great! She was very easy to talk to. We stayed a bit after hours and she was very pleasant even after staying past closing. The food was made fresh and their lemon cilantro coleslaw was amazing. Koodoos to the kitchen. We had the all you can eat tacos but couldn't make it past 2 tacos. 5 stars for amazing service

Fish was delicious as was the tartar sauce. Fries were hot. I was pleasantly surprised by the meal and it just might become one of my favorites. Restaurant seemed clean, but windows were dirty. The server was pretty but very stand offish and not too friendly which didn't make me feel comfortable or in a rush to come back as I prefer friendly, welcoming places. The fish really was fantastic!

Just like Joey's Only as we remembered it. Hot, fresh fish and chips, savory and delicious. We'll be back.

My family was ill and one in a wheel chair and really wanted seafood from Joey's Only. I am not computer savvy but I joined Skip the Dishes to order some. I must have put the address in wrong - they never got the food. So. I ordered again.and again they never got the food. Went to wrong place: (The owner of Joey's actually phoned me and got the address and ensured that my family got their supper (even though they don't deliver). He wouldn't take any money for this service even though it was not his problem. I can't say enough good things about this man - turned a very frustrating experience into something wonderful - Thank you, thank you!

I forgot my wallet somehow and they let me have my food and just asked that I come back and order again at some point!
I sent my husband back to pay, but I was still extremely impressed.
I love the fish and shrimp tacos so I like to go to the all you can eat day ️.

Idk how to explain lol thought it was a Joey's only place. Has a early 1960s feeling inside and my gf and I were the youngest ones here. The 2nd youngest couple were in their 50s.

Had turkey meal. Turkey isn't fresh and tough. The fish my girlfriend had wasn't the best and smelled a lil bit.
Kitchen staff on their phones and not washing their hands before and after using.

The waitresses the blonde one and tall girl did an amazing job. But it's a bad sign when the best part of the meal were the waitresses.

Definitely drive the extra 10 minutes to the next Joey's only. Any other one but this place for food that tastes good.

Great place for bland food for baby boomers. But better options. Even go to Original Joe's or anywhere else unless you're desperate for not fresh food and terrible food safe by the cooks.

All batter no fish on my plate. Chicken fingers were so overdone on my friends plate that they were impossible to eat.

I went there for lunch with my family on last Friday. The food was very good and service was outstanding. Our server’s name was Jet I think, she was very kind and friendly. We will definitely go there again.

My neighbour likes to take me to Joey's to thank me when I help him out. He doesn't need to treat me to a meal as I'm just doing what my mom raised me to do but you can only say "no not today" so many times.

The food and service here has always been great. Plus what's really unique about this fish place is it's connected to Rosie's next door. So not only can you order seafood but you can also order from Rosie's menu. Thus if you're the only person in your party not wanting seafood you needn't fear as you won't get stuck eating seafood here!

Great clean restaurant with amazing food and impeccable service. And good thing it's on the opposite end of town as I'd probably be a few pounds heavier otherwise.

Just fabulous! Today was our delicious day! We live in Vancouver and came to Sherwood Park yesterday for two weeks. My daughter is very picky but she ordered another dish. Let’s review my happy day; wonderful manager, great customer service, clean and nice environment, beautiful music and the best fish & chips that we ate ever. I ate Halibut and Cod but I will come to try all other fishes in the menu. The Coleslaw was so tasty & yummy and the fries had a excellent taste. The fish and chips was not oily! Thank you Joey's fish & chips for the unforgettable day you made for us!

Overall great experience! I came with two other friends. The atmosphere and vibes were very welcoming and upbeat. The food was delicious, I had the Endless shrimps which I would totally recommend to any Shrimps lovers! Service was also great, shout out to Jami for being so friendly and patient with food allergies, and making awesome recommendations.

What a great place one of the best Joey's. We were here on Tuesday night for All you can eat. Place was full we waited few minutes but it was fine. Fast service Crispy fish. Best place for fish and chips.

We were here on Thursday evening for $4 tacos. Absolutely amazing. Tacos are freshly made. Enjoyed every moment. See you next Thursday.

Food was horrible. Ordered through skip the dishes. Had 2 orders of fish and chips. Fish tasted old and both fish and fries were cold. Only thing hot was the gravy. If I’m paying 50 bucks for meals I expect them to be hot when I get them.

Sold on their Endless Fish and Shrimp offer. Went in a group of 4 to have fish and chips and 2 of us had All day Breakfast special for $8.50, they loved it.will be back for sure

The best fish and chips place in Sherwood Park! Nice large pieces of fish with a loved thin crisp batter! Plus they serve breakfast too.

5 of us went there for my birthday supper. Quite disappointing in the speed of service from the kitchen! We all ordered the all you can eat shrimp and fish and each time they brought more out, they brought 5 shrimp per person with a 15 minute wait between. We were in the restaurant for 2 hours and not even stuffed! So unlike the all you can eat at Red Lobster where they bring large refills and you are stuffed in 1 hour! Bad choice on our part going here!

Just wow, good atmosphere, lovely music, friendly staff. Above all best fish and chips.
They also have Endless shrimp for $24.99, fast service & good food. Recommended.

We went in for take out food. We watched them bag our food and leave it on the table. We waited for 30 min before we said anything as we did not know that it was ours. The food is normally very good from this location.

Would certainly recommend trying this place. Excellent ambience, fresh food, great customer service. Highly recommended.

Poor Service, got our order wrong. I always hate it when the fine print says you have to order 2 beverages to use their coupon.

The clam chowder is always good. We also tried the lobster & shrimp grilled sandwich which was also really good.

Take out wasn't the hottest and I waited in store for it. However, the "mini fish tacos" are anything but mini. I bought it to go with my lunch as I hadn't brought enough and the tacos were huge. Great value. Batter wasn't as crispy as I would have preferred, but the seasoning was fine.
