John and Irish's NOFRILLS Calgary

Really nice store has a good selection of items and is well stocked, clean aisles and is good for buying fresh vegetables and fruits. Friendly staff as well. Plenty room for parking and multiple entrance/exits.

Grabbed 2 packs of chibatta buns here for lunches they were totally dry. Through them in the garbage was totally disappointed. Had to buy buns elsewhere.

The staff are very friendly and helpful when asked about certain products. They also acknowledge your prescence. The store itself is extremely clean, bright and well stocked.

Wish the fruits and vegetables are more fresh. When I was going it was kinda empty. I think it’s not the case most of the time.

Been frequenting No Frills since it opened and it has remained clean with tons of parking, the shelves are always faced and the staff is very helpful and friendly. This is my "go to" store

The store is clean and organized. Salem on the check out is very very nice. However the other lady on self scan was really rude. She had no patience and she wasn’t willing to help. Horrible customer service. Hopefully we can get Salem again.

It's a new store so was less crowded, it was clean, staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Quality of product is good as well.

The owners of this store is very rude to his staff yells at them in front of customers and both owners show no respect to the staff they are very unprofessional not qualified to run a store

I really missed no frill after moving from sw to nw. I surprised to see this branch is open near my living area. All products are fresh with reasonable price.

Overall Prices of same items are expensive than Walmart unless on Sale. I.prefer Walmart over it in this Economy

Great prices, not as big selection as superstore but decent. Fresh produce and good customer service.

Good prices, clean and friendly. It's a nice addition to the area and great to get in and out quickly. A few items are prices quite a bit higher perhaps to offset the other items like soap and meds.

All I asked for is someone to unlock the shopping cart so I can shop. I wasn’t planning for grocery shopping when I left home, so I didn’t have any change on me. I went to one of the lady helping in self check out and asked her if she can unlock the cart like many other grocery stores do for their customers convenience. She replied that we have atm there that you can withdraw money or you can buy a card which will cost you couple of dollars. This happens to be the only time I didn’t have my debit on me either and she goes there is no supervisor on right now otherwise she would have helped you out. I even told her if I can borrow a dollar from them and bring it back when I am done shopping and she totally ignored as I was gonna scam her for a looney and continued with her supervisor story. I am surprised to know that no frills can not afford a full time supervisor and left their multi million dollar store in hands of these employees that can not even help their customers with freaking cart. Glad there is fresco literally at the next intersection.

S/O to Efosa, Talia and Salem. Salem and Talia got me right at checkout, they helped me match prices and their kindness was amazing. Efosa helped me out around the store, he showed me where i could get blueberry faygo. Great store with these 3 employees they deserve a raise!

This store carries 3 of my favourite items that the nearby Real Canadian Superstore does not:
1) Selecta brand Quezo ice cream (they carry other flavours too but quezo is by far my favourite)
2) Takis
3) Pillers original & spicy pepperettes

Other than that the selection is pretty reasonable for a quick stop. Some other great stuff too if you're Filipino.

My main issue is that the self-checkout kiosks are limited to basket-only quantities, carts will not fit through.

I always prefer to use self-checkout no matter how many items I purchase because I'm not slow in scanning like most people. I'm deducting 1 point for this.

Cashier was too slow to check us out. We waited 15-20 min to watch the issue being resolved in front of us by two cashiers and they could not figure out how to resolve it for the customer in front of us and it was costing us time to witness all that. Cashiers should be trained properly

Place is clean and new, staff are friendly and the prices are good! Nice to have a near place to shop

I love new places!

This was clean and had everything I was looking for.

Even the staff was so polite and asked if they could help (maybe I looked lost … hahaha).

Will be back a lot more.

Love this location! Its a larger no frills store and seems to be very clean and well organized.they seem to carry a variety of products and I would say is better stocked then the Freshco located in Evanston. All staff seem to be kind and helpful:) very convenient to have in Carrington
