I booked a ‘fairies and folklore’ birthday party for my 6 year old, and it was amazing! There was an employee (who was so kind, professional, and at the ready for us) to lead the group of kids through games, an outdoor fairy scavenger hunt, and they even had little fairy houses for decor! There was an art activity, books, puppets, and wearable wings for all the kiddos. The indoor playground is incredible, it made me feel like a kid again! It even includes a little acorn gathering/pipe situation as if you were a squirrel, and a small stream with logs and leaves to explore building dams! Then there is a room that includes what looks like interactive and educational displays of different animals, and the cutest little gift shop with unique games and gifts etc.we will be visiting again for sure!

A great place for our toddler to burn some energy! Nice that they allow pre booked time slots to avoid it being crowded - was still busy but it's nice to see so many kids enjoying the space. 4 stars as it would be nice to have a food option (Cafe/restaurant) but just a personal preference, the space itself is great.

Nice little nature centre next to the Fort Edmonton Park. A lot of things for kids to see and learn. They also have live bees that kids can see and read about their story. There is a playground area with the nature theme built in for kids to play. A great place for a play date or birthday parties. They have multi-function rooms for rent as birthday party spaces. Lovely experience. Would recommend!

Great spot to explore. Educational plaques and some benches along the hiking trails. Popular with cyclists. Plenty of easy parking too.

We've been here a handful of times and recently purchased an annual membership for my 18 month old. He loves the play area and the green rooftop! The surrounding trails are child friendly and a great way to explore the outdoors.

My 9 year old and I are happy that we visited, but it's unlikely we will go back for quite awhile. There was very little to see or do here, he had a short bit of fun in the play area, and there was a small room with a few small animals to look at, but aside from that we were both fairly bored. The $8 admission was reasonable, but we would both rather pay more and visit Fort Edmonton Park next door to it.

Child and I had a great time here. It was very magical stepping into the view of a insect. And camels used to roam Alberta. WHAT! Learn this and more there too.

This is the place for Kids! If you are looking for something to do with your kids that doesn’t cost much but is still different and educational, I highly recommend the nature center.

They have and indoor play area for kids to climb and run and be kids. An educational room to learn about our area, and a new rooftop garden.

Few tips for first timers. Theres no food besides a vending machine. Bring your own. Theres spots to eat. If you don't have to. Leave the stroller in the car. Space is limited. And I brought my son shoes but its socks only. I went today and it was good. 3 bucks is fair price. For my tot and me. Good place for toddlers to have fun. Will come back when its nice out!

They have a very nice play area BUT with school groups during the week there is no guarantee of getting into it.

I’d often come here as a young child and role play as a bee in a beehive while in the play-area. I’m far too old to be allowed in now, apparently, so I’m stuck wandering the gift shop. It has a nice variety of crystals though, which is nice.

The outdoor area is fascinating— there’s quite a few trails, a compost area, and a pond with many different kinds of wildlife.

Don’t trust the geese, though. They’ll steal your liver.

Great place for children. Interesting easy trails. Check it out and give your children an introduction to nature.

Not much to do especially considering the price of admission.
The guides give interesting explanations and tours.

My kids loved it here. It kept them.occupied for 3 hours. And it's a lot cheaper than the play places.
