After attempting to find a barber / hairstylist for our teenage son (hair is very important to teenage boys these days) and having a few terrible cuts, we were referred to Johnny’s on 11th. Ryan immediately fixed a bad haircut and we’ve been booking with him ever since. 100% recommend this barber shop; always clean, friendly, great vibe, music and most of all they know what they are doing.

I was lucky enough to get a cut from Alannah today and she's been a stable at this location for as long as I've been coming both barbers are friendly, and their customer service is impeccable as well. They are highly capable at barbering. I always leave Johnny's barbershop with a smile.

Awhile ago a friend of mine suggested checking out Johnny’s and seeing Mark for my hair cutting needs, I’m so glad I listened. Mark really listens to what you want done and has the ability to create a great looking cut based on what you envision. He is super attentive, detail oriented, and always takes his time making you feel like he is giving you the attention you deserve. Mark is great to chat with and makes the environment and atmosphere at Johnnys always enjoyable. Highly recommend!

He's done my hair prior to both job interviews and filmed events and every time I leave looking both professional and stylish. Not only that, but he's incredibly charismatic and takes a genuine interest in the lives of his clients and coworkers. Patrick was awesome! My nephew loved the haircut and full face shave Patrick gave him. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and obviously talented at what he does.
The shop has a great atmosphere, all the staff were really friendly and accommodating and fun.

First time I came to Johnny’s and met Mark for my haircut was a couple days before my wedding! I had gotten a recommendation and took the shot. Best decision I ever made. Mark took such good care of me that day and has done so ever since! His attention to detail is unmatchable and the basketball talk is always fun. Always great service here. Lyndon Byrd has been a great barber and has me looking my best whenever I go see him! The place itself is always welcoming, they make sure you're comfortable and the conversation is great. All the little details with the straight razor to clean up the neck, the hot towel and everything to soothe any irritation. Best place to go for a cut!

I've been on the hunt for a really good barber in Calgary for years now and after driving by Johnny's on 11th Ave a thousand times decided to give them a shot. Can't speak highly enough of Karlo. Crazy attention to detail, takes his time and really makes an effort to understand what you're looking for in a cut. Knew a lot about product and had some good recommendations. Johnny's is a super clean, bright shop with vintage barber chairs, good music, friendly and helpful staff, and for the quality of service I think the prices are fair (around $50 for a men's cut). 10/10

Super enjoyable experience. Mark spent a lot of time getting my Covid hair back to a ship shape. Highly recommend. Mark does not like Star Wars but don't judge him for that. You are here for his barber skills.

Second time here. First was with Michael, really great and personable, got a great trim of the beard, some advice and really liked my haircut. He was thorough in providing me explanations throughout the process layering my hair and tips for my beard. Great!

Second visit was with Alanna, loved the experience and got a new look, hair way shorter and trimmed up the beard nicely. Tips on hair product to keep it in control. I'm liking my new look Alanna - thanks for taking the time.

Been getting my hair cut here for a couple years now. (My beard, I'm bald) but it's a great way to check out for half hour and get yourself looking dapper. Matty is my go to, dude knows what's up.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent service. Michael is unique and has a great energy and I was so happy with my cut. Hands down will be coming again. Great prices and got some excellent product as well!

Nice Barber place and the people there are nice. Sell lots.of hair products that you can buy to touch up your hair after your good cut. If you're going, visit my boy Tony! He takes his time to ensure he gives you a great cuts and knows what he's doing.

I’m new to Calgary and it took me awhile to find a new hairdresser. I’ve been to Johnny’s twice now, with two different barbers (Alanna and Matt) and was very happy with the cuts and service. I’ve already booked my next appointment!

I was referred to Johnny's Barbershop, specifically Karlo, from another barbershop. This place always has great tunes playing and of course is home to top O'the line skilled barbers.
