Joso's Play & Learn Centre

My 4 year old attended fulltime childcare for the first time when we moved from BC to Calgary. We worried about the transition to full time daycare but she was so happy from day 1. No tears for the one month we sent her to Joso’s temporarily and the staff were very warm. We knew she was well taken care of when she ran into her teachers arms for a big hug on her last day.

My daughter has been going there for 6 months and I must say she loves going there. Teachers are so good they do take really good care of kids.

Both of our kids have been through the program at Joso's and we've loved it there - we even opted to keep the kids there for kindergarten as they offer a full day program. The staff are like family, our kids love and care for them, and they keep the parents well informed. Through the pandemic, as an RN, I was comfortable continuing to have my kids there as their safety practices were well thought out and attention to detail was obvious. I highly recommend the program to anyone considering Pre-K, JK, or Kindy!

Our daughter has been attending Joso's since she was 19 months old with Ms. Rachel and Ms. Rhea and we have been extremely satisfied with them from the very beginning.
They have always been caring and helpful with her and have always been supportive with us as parents.
The improvement and development both academically and socially that we have seen in our daughter has really been wonderful.
We highly recommend it!

We have been very happy with the service, care and the learning that happens at Joso's. I love how the teacher sends the parents photos of what had happened during the day, the communication from the teachers/admin staff, and it's convenient location. Full day care at Joso's have made things much easier for our family and my daughter is always happy to go.

Joso is an amazing daycare Preschool!
I can not say how much I love it. My daughter cry a lot when go to her previous daycare. She love to go to Joso on the first Day! She is happy all the time. She love Ms. Nina and Ms. Daisey. Teacher are always respond quick when you need to reach them. Teacher will send children's picture everyday, and let parents know what they do every day. School will also send weekly Email to let parent know next week planning. There're a lot of great activity. My daughter learned a lot here. I wish we can stay in Joso for another year.
It is a big decision to choose who you leave your children to. Joso is a great place!

Great place for preschool kids. Nice teachers and staffs, excellent learning environment. My son has been in Joso's at Creekside location for 2 years and now my daughter is also attending the same location. They loved to go school every day. Both teachers and supporting staffs there are very responsible and professional.

We love Joso's! Both my girls have been at different daycare, and Joso's is our favorite for both girls. Trusted, attentive, and they make the kids feel very welcome and comfortable.

The program at Josos is exceptional. They are professional, caring, and dedicated to early childhood development. Most of all my son loves the Joso's community.

Our eldest started in the PreK class in 2018. He finished with the JK/K class at the end of the 2019/2020 school year. They follow an excellent phonics program and he was academically and socially more than ready when he started Kindergarten. They helped him build a lot of self confidence. All of the staff are kind and caring and always put the children's needs first. They have a very cool indoor play structure that the kids really enjoy.
Our youngest is now in the Toddler class and he has the best teacher with excellent new and fresh ideas that helps him learn all off the skills required for his age group! They play outside every day and he absolutely loves going to school. Some days he cries when we pick him up because he does not want to leave. That says alot about the place and the staff. We also get daily feedback and can communicate with their teacher (s) via the Class Dojo app.

We could not be happier with Joso’s Preschool. Our daughter loves her time there. The staff are accommodating, responsive, professional and show so much care for our child. I never worry leaving her there. I love the flexibility they offer for working parents having both a full day preschool program and before and aftercare. The children get tons of play time (indoor and outdoor). Our daughter has learned so much and most days at pick up doesn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend!

My little one loves Joso's. She talks a lot about the teachers and the friends She met in Joso's. They will send photos and messages to each parent. My little one did tons of hand crafts and activities there and I can see the progress. She is super excited about going to Joso's. To be honest, if Joso's open on weekends, I will definitely send my little there everyday.

Joso's is one of the best decisions I have made for my children. My youngest was very shy and now after attending a few months she is not shy at all. Both of my children are very happy to go to Joso every day, making me happy too. The teachers really care about my children and keep me informed of everything as minor as it is. Communication is really good and my children are learning lots. We're very very happy, we LOVE Joso's!

I was told about Joso's from a coworker and I thank her every time I see her! It is the best preschool and the staff is just amazing. They are so kind and involved in their students lives, my daughter LOVES going there. She has learnt so much and I could see such huge improvements in every aspect. They always keep parents informed and kids are always learning and doing fun presentations and activities.

Both our son and daughter have attended preschool at Joso's. They had a memorable time there. The teachers/staff are loving, caring, professional and very responsible. My son has learnt so much in his second year preschool which has helped him build a strong foundation for his reading, literacy, and math skills for kindergarten. We look forward to our daughter's 2nd year at Joso's. We would highly recommend Joso's to all the families.

I don't normally write reviews but I'm very touched with the way Joso's handled the pandemic. My daughter's teachers kept sending weekly activities that were easy to do at home and kept doing zoom calls with all the kids. My daughter was really excited waiting for the calls to see her teachers and friends. Yesterday, my daughter was so happy recieving her medal & certificate and wearing her gown & hat for the photo. I'm glad I made the best school/daycare choice for her. The teachers are so loving and really care for the children. We are going to miss our Joso's family as I know she will not have the same attention and care in a public school.

I like the fact that it is an academic program and the kids are fully prepared for Kindergarten. They are learning early literacy skills as well as scientific inquiry skills. My son attended Joso's and I couldn't have asked for a better early education for him. Now my daughter is attending and she loves it! I also think it is wonderful that guests such as the clown and magician visit the classes. They have a good mix of learning and having fun.

I can see why Josos keeps winning awards. They have the best teachers, best program and best facility. We have been with Joso for 2 years now and we couldn't been happier. They are very accommodating and care about the entire family. We are very happy that their Creekside location now have a toddlers program so we can bring our baby here next year. Thank you, Josos!

My son is currently registered in their Kindergarten program and it has been such a great experience for him. His birthday is in February so while he could have started Kindergarten in the school system at 4.5 we felt he was a bit young and wanted something in between a dayhome and school. He has learnt far more then what we expected and loves going to Josos every day. The teachers there are awesome. Very caring and loving but are also great at discipling when needed. We couldn’t have been more happier with our decision to do this and really feel that he will be setup for success when he enters the school system.

Joso's is the only preschool that offers a full day option in the area. After having a bad experience in a nearby daycare I didn't want my child in a daycare environment anymore. Joso's is run as a school and very well organized, the children are there to learn and have fun. I have seen my child grow academically and personally since going to Joso's, but the best part is that he is always happy when I drop him off and when I pick him up. The staff is amazing and they must be treated well by management because they have been there teaching for a long time. The indoor playground is a bonus! We are very happy with Joso's.

This review is for the preschool. Joso's is the best preschool in Calgary! My son went to Creekside first and then we moved closer to West Springs so he is now going to the West Springs location. The school is very well organized, very professional, and the staff is wonderful. Both locations have the same friendly, welcoming feeling for children and parents. The curriculum is the best in town!

My 16 month old daughter had a wonderful time playing here. She tends to be overwhelmed by the huge play centers, so this is perfect. I will be coming back for sure.

My oldest son recently graduated from the Kindergarten program at Joso's and I could not be happier with their program here. My son has learned so much here even how to start reading at 4 years old! All the staff is so amazing with him, he really loved all his teachers and he made so many new friends here. So many good memories at Joso Creekside!

We just had my daughter's pre-k graduation ceremony yesterday and we could not be happier with Joso's creekside as a preschool. The teachers are kind and caring, they are tons of activities & events, the assistant helpers are super nice, my daughter learned so much here and made a ton of great friends. We have been here for the last 2 years and it has been an amazing experience to say the least. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
