Staff too busy talking to each other behind counter to help customers. Stood looking at same section for 10 minutes, making eye contact with staff several times with no assistance. Entered hoping to buy a pair, left with nothing.
The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. I was help in selecting socks for a friend's daughter and the selection was beautiful and budget affordable with discount included. Also lot's of various products eg. Shoe's, belts bags at great prices and affordable.
I've tried to call several times today and I don't know if they are busy or not, but they keep picking up the phone and hanging right up. This is about 5 different times throughout the day at different times. It will ring a different amount of times each time, and then do the triple beep from being disconnected. I wanted to put a pair of shoes on hold and can't even get through.
Positing this review solely because the clerk refused my return until I gave her an email address. Gave them a bogus email and asked “so if a 95 year old grandma with no email bought shoes here and tried to return them then what”. She said nope no return. An email address is not required as a consumer to make or return a purchase. Get your heads on straight Journeys!
Came in today to quickly replace my vans. The two ladies were extremely polite, quick. Extremely friendly and recommended the best non slip socks I’ve ever tried:) :)
They have a good collections of shoes and backpacks. Staff are really friendly but they over do it, because they are standing right by the entrance waiting for customers, and as soon as you enter someone asks you if you need help without letting you look first, and after you tell them you are just looking a minute after they ask you again, for me it was an uncomfortable experience.
The best store for timberland boots, the staffs are always nice, mostly nick at the chinnok mall, and Jen at CrossIron mill mall. I always get good value for my money.
Returned some shoes where the stitching was coming apart. Bearded manager guy said he couldn't refund so I picked out some different cheaper shoes. They recommended I spend the remaining 10$ balance on some socks. This ended up costing me money so I declined the socks. They ended up putting the 10$ on a gift card. The manager told me he was 'over it'. He shouted twice as he walked away. 'Over it, over it'. Well big guy, I'm over your store and your awful customer service.
Went in on Saturday to purchase a mens size 7.5 Van's shoes, when I went to put on my shoes on monday before work I noticed they didnt fit, turns out I was sold a size 7 so they were too small for my feet, so I went in to the actual Van's store to buy the same shoes in a different size. Went in to the chinook location today to return them and was told "sorry I cant return them, the heel has been worn out but I can exchange them" when I told him "I havent even worn them" he still refused to give me a refund. I contacted customer service on the Journeys twitter page and sent over pictures and was tild "yeah, these shoes look brand new and I was offered a refund instantly. Then went in to the Market mall location as well to see if they could give me a refund so I wouldnt have to mail my shoes off and have to wait 14 days for a refund, they took one good look at them said "yeah these shoes dont look like they've been worn at all" and I walked out with my money back. The point is, there was nothing wrong with the shoes, they hadn't been worn, the associate just didnt want a return showing up on their sales reports, I will never be buying from the Journeys in Chinook ever again after the male associates abysmal customer service
I've been here a few times and have always had great experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection. A couple of weeks ago I bought some boots and a buckle broke, and the staff helped me with no problems at all. They didn't have a new pair of my size in stock, and have ordered me a new one which should be here in a day or two.
