Total price gouging. How does 3 hours of one persons work add up to $1300, it’s absolutely ridiculous. Their whole methodology is very predatory, as a person who doesn’t know anything about furnaces I felt taken hostage by the technician. The tech was very nice and is very skilled, and did a good job as far as I can tell. But when I was told it would cost extra money to get the work done later, I wasn’t able to ask around and determine if the work was worth doing or if the price was fair. This resulted in me getting things done that were worthless, and expensive. Do not get your furnace serviced at Just-In-Time.

Having assessed quotes from different companies, it appears that these individuals are relatively expensive in my view. I apologize for expressing this opinion, but I believe sharing this review could be valuable for others. Thank you.

Just in Time serviced our furnaces for years. Recently we switched companies and we were appalled to learn of very high pricing and about their total lack of customer care. Five years ago Just in Time replaced the inducer motor and charged us $625. We just replaced the inducer motor again (after only five years) and a different company did the same work and charged us $375 plus then gave us an additional 10% off for being a repeat client. I tried phoning several times (15+) and left several messages for Justin to contact me. I eventually did get his direct line but never answered his phone no matter what time of day I tried. I was just hoping he could explain the huge price difference and help me understand why it was more expensive five years ago? I would not recommend using this company.

Started out helpful with our furnace failure, got us in quickly the technicians were great and then once it was determined a new furnace was required that’s where it went down hill… was originally told they could replace the furnace quickly, had to come and run one more test a day passed and they came and confirmed new furnace was the option. Still totally fine with this. A quote would be sent to me. Still fine. Got home from work got a call from Justin, he advised me his installer was simply too big to get in the space to install a new furnace and proceeded to tell me “I wish you the best of luck finding someone to install a new furnace”. That’s what did it for me was the tone in his voice like he could care less about helping a customer. His tone with that comment was just not called for. Only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the helpful technicians there otherwise this review would be a 1 star review. Thanks for nothing Justin.

He came over for a furnace cleaning. I figure the best place to park was in the back yard. As he parked out front I got his attention. I opened his passenger door while he was already parked and told him to come around the back. He kept yelling at me “yes Yelling” to shut the passenger door. I waited till he got out. I asked him are you always this ignorant with you clients? He asked why do we have a problem? I said yes. Your fired. This guy was a complete AH. No respect for the elderly.

Extremely impressed with Matt who came out and tuned up our furnace. He is very easy to talk to and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. You never feel like you are being sold unnecessary services. Will request Matt next time. FYI. Patti in the office is a very effective communicator! Thank you

I’ve used this company before and have had a good experience however this time I’m not so happy with it. I purchased a Groupon like I did last time and found the prices have increased dramatically. I don’t make a lot of money and was looking for the cheapest option for the furnace/duct cleaning. When I phoned to make the appointment I ended up going with the general rate that they had minus the Groupon discount thinking I would be saving money. Turns out I ended up paying about $30 more then I would have in all the extra fees. After they left I checked the invoice and they charged me $10.95 per extra vent when it should have been $10. I feel totally ripped off. Also they were barely here for the hour and hope the work was done properly and thoroughly.

Patty was fantastic to work with on getting an air conditioner installed at our residence. The installers Adam and Jason were also great to interact with and very professional. The Just in Time Furnace team was agile and able to manage some unforeseen challenges with the install - which only further demonstrated their knowledge and experience.

The technicians were on time and very professional. They were both great with my dog who was a little nervous with the noise, and always informed me of what they were doing. Thank you for doing such a great job with cleaning all of our ducts and inspecting our furnace. We will definitely recommend Just in Time to family and friends, as well as use them going forward. Just in Time gave me a choice of 2 hour windows, indicating that it should take no longer than an hour. Parvinder called about 20 minutes out to advise me of his arrival time. He is a very nice, pleasant, polite and efficient person. It was a very good appointment.

We used this service and were pleased however there was a lot of dust in the filter so called to inform them. They were great about making sure I was happy so sent a crew out to redo the whole process. Bud & Ryan were exceptional, professional and thorough. They informed us of the problem and rectified it. The company was very fast in rescheduling another cleaning. I like a company that stands behind their work so this was a very good experience.

Incredible once again. On time, didn’t try and sell me something I didn’t need. Furnace looks brand new it’s so clean!

Bought a Groupon for Just In Time Furnace for Duct cleaning. We live rural, just outside of Okotoks, which on the Groupon it states they service Okotoks. Prior to booking the service we called the office to ensure they would come out and were told that they would we just have to pay mileage past a certain point (only 11kms). The service was booked and they attended our house to do the Duct Cleaning. Once it was completed the technician stated they couldn't accept the Groupon because we were outside Calgary. No where in the fine print did it say only within Calgary or even Okotoks for that matter. The technician went back to the office and the staff confirmed they wouldn't accept it. I have contacted Groupon and they have been attempting to reach them in relation to this and they are not responding. This is completely unprofessional and appalling on business standards. If they don't accept outside of Calgary for the Groupon it should state as such and secondly, the staff shouldn't have told us that we would just pay mileage for the rural location. I am continuing to work with Groupon to have this rectified. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. A complete disappointment.

Got a furnace tune-up from a Groupon deal. Never used this company before but gave it a try using the Groupon deal and the great reviews on Groupon. Booking was easy and the receptionist was super nice and helpful. However our technician came and didn't introduce himself or who he was with. He came and basically looked at the furnace and the parts, told us what needed replacing soon and that was it, didn't clean anything or told me if everything is working fine, etc. It took him less than 30 mins for the tune up. Every other company I've dealt with took at least an hour and the furnace always looks new. There was obvious water spots in the unit but he didn't address that or look for the problem. Unfortunately, cannot say I'd recommend them at least for a furnace tune-up

Complete rip off. The guys parked out front for more than half an hour before they started. They will tell you how much extra everything costs, AFTER they’re set up and started. Making you feel totally trapped. Offer you this tune up or that inspection which everything suspiciously costs, oh I don’t know, $129.00. But fail to show any proof that they did actually did what their checklist says they did. Charged me to move their hoses around the house. Which is Complete garbage. There was debris bits left all over. Never once asked me if they could leave their shoes on. They just did. They’ll also Tell you that you’ll get 10% off because of their coupon in the mail box. The lady said she would call me back. Which she never did, that was probably a month ago now. The two guys were decent enough I guess but we’re also complaining about the owner and how they were going to quit. I heard it all on my doorbell camera. Sure makes me want to use these guys again. A job that should have been like $500 maybe $600 cost me over $900.
Definitely do not recommend anything about this company.

Right from the first call talking to Regan, she was so friendly and knowledgeable. Ryan and Bud come and were so awesome. They showed me things I needed to know and even modified my dryer vent hose cause it was too long. They were very helpful and did an amazing job. I will most definitely use them again. Thanks again you guys this whole experience with Justin in time was very impressive. You’ve got some great employees on your team you should be proud.

The technician was on time and very professional. He checked my unit, greased what needed greasing, installed the proper size filter and have me a diagnosis of the condition of the furnace. I am now confident that this furnace will work well throughout the winter months. This was by far the best Groupon I have ever purchased and will definitely recommend this company to friends as well as use them going forward. Thank you Just In Time for the peace of mind!
