5 star for service big shout out to Kristen and Zack and especially Steve hope right people read it but Steve deserves a raise I said what I was looking for an with his help I got what I wanted and prices better than I expect from sofa to a bed frame to a table and chairs not only did he help me but they have a new young girl at cash also very friendly I wish I remner her name as well Dec 5 if you see this post you know who you are but Steve also showed her new things she dident know which I thaught was awesome to take time teach and she wad excited to learn types are peope that makes me waba come back good customers service il ne comming back again jysk 5 stars all day

I typically don't go to stores like Jysk, but the staffs courtesy, kindness and most importantly, their attentive proffessionalism has won me over. I unfortinately don't remember all of their names, but I do remember the names of Zach, Steve and Jade.
A+ to not only them, but the entire store crew.
If I were a manager or higher up, I would give them all a nice bonus for their excellent workmanship.

Usually staff at JYSK are very friendly but today we had the store manager “helping” us. He was unfriendly. We needed a plastic tablecloth cut and he said “we cut by the meter”. I asked how wide it was and he mumbled 55 inches. When I asked how many centimetres that was he just said 55 inches.
On a different note I question why is the bulk tablecloth cut by meters but the width is in inches. Maybe it should be the same system (metric or standard).

As a retail store, it is adequate. For towels, sheets, drapes, nick nacks etc.it has reasonable stock at reasonable prices.
The real issue I have is the number of times I purchased a larger new item and ended up receiving a used or returned product. The first instance of this is when we purchased a couch. When we got it home under decent light, it had obviously been used. After inquiring with the store, we found out it was a display model that sat on the floor for months. No one informed us that it was a display and charged us full price. We ended up getting the couch steamed as it was less hassle than trying to return it.
Recently, I purchased a bench for my entrance hallway. The box had obviously been re taped but I did not think much of it. When I started to assemble the product, I realized it had been used by the wear on the baseplate. It was scratched and worn where it had been on the floor. In addition, the base plate was cracked and broken in several places (see pictures). The damage was so bad, that you could not sit on it as it would collapse. Again, living an hour away it was not worth repackaging and driving a $150 item the whole way back. Once again, I had to repair the item myself to make it usable.
Just another example of "buyer beware" when buying from retail in GP.

Their manager have no concept of what customer service means. She is very rude and inconsiderate.

The customer service for delivery is really bad i was asking for the delivery and she just answered i don't know and also after i buy the price in the store and the website is huge different I should just buy online

Cramped crowded store. Products are just stuffed into shelves. Used to be an interesting store but that has changed.

Pathetic experience, no he'll from anyone in the store because the staff in the Dept went home. I bought all my bedding and supplies elsewhere. Your loss

Lots of cool stuff with good prices. Love the way they have layed out the store to walk through it but could be a little bit less cluttered in spots.
