JYSK - Red Deer

My family has got loads of furniture from jysk! And I am going to buy it lot more very, very soon. Mike, Rose and Adrian.

2 years ago my family bought a cat tree which was the floor model. It was disassembled and reboxed. The hardware and Allen wrench was overlooked at the time. After the relocation of the Red Deer location, I went to the new location, and possibly finding the missing items. Not only did I receive the missing hardware and tool, but was grateful for the efforts of the emplee and manager involved. We will shop there in the future.

Great customer service friendly staff and really nice products at a reasonable price. Our favorite store since moving to Red Deer!

I love the fresh new store Red Deer. Everything is layed out nicely.
Shop around before buying. Some items are marked too high. Furniture prices should come down a bit. Sofas are nice but for the price you could get better quality and comfort from the brick. They do have great selections of pillows and other items which I found quickly.
If you adjust a few more prices I will give you five stars.

I love this new location. The store is so well laid out, the aisles are very easy to navigate, it's bright, you can see from one end to the other. It's easy to find what your looking for. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It was first of many trips!

New location is very nice. Large warehouse with displays of product. However, I found that most products were over priced and low quality. Very disappointed. Won't be spending my money there. If I want low quality I'll go to the dollar store.

Hello I wanted to share my shopping experience at Jysk. I highly recommend this store in Reddeer. The manager Mandy was amazing answered all my questions. From all professional service offered from the warehouse where my product was loaded into my vehicle to cashiers who were very friendly and efficient. Well done Jysk. Love the new location. I will return.

Wanted curtains but selection worse than old store. I thought the new store would have a better selection but.nope

Bad, bad delivery service. Paid $100 extra for delivery of a sectional couch. For $100 you’d think they’d deliver and set up couch but NO, they just drop off! It’s an extra on top of $100! WOW! Other store I’ve bought are extra $100 and they have the set up included. 2 men to unpack and set up would take 5 min. Suppose to a women doing it by herself would take several hours. COME ON JYKS you need better services than that! That just goes to show what kind of company you really are! All about MONEY! Not quality good customer service! Shame on you!

Stopped in to pick up side tables and the staff and Manager worked to give me the best deal. They are a positive group and made the shopping experience great and I can’t wait to see the new store. You are amazing!

My comment only has to do with JYSK's automated answering service, which is currently not working properly, as one is not able to proceed any further after choosing the english/french language option, and whereupon the introductory message/greeting will just repeat itself and ask one to choose the language option again. ️

Great store. Lots of selection. Our sales associate AJ. Was awesome very knowledgeable very friendly and helpful.

Didn't find exactly what I was looking for but they had alot of stuff and the chick that i asked for help from was very helpful and friendly.it's been a long time since in the store last.i proly go back and buy some canvas's.they had good quality and size for really acceptable prices.

Packed little store with something for everyone. Great prices compared to specialty stores but quality isn't the best of the best. Still pretty great though. You'll spend twice as much at the big brand stores for nearly the same product.

I was in yesterday looking for a floating shelf and the one gentlemen working there was very helpful. This JYSK location is clean, bright and welcoming.

Always nice to wander through, most items can be found easily. Only section that might need improvement is their clearance corner. It just feels kind of thrown in and you have to dig into it to see if there is anything worth buying. Maybe having a shelf instead of a box might work better.

The Jysk store in Reddeer went beyond customer service. Manning was so helpful and looking after us could not ask for anyone better hands down he knows how to take care of you.

Big props to the staff here. I was with an elderly woman outside the store who had fallen and needed paramedics. While we waited for ambulance to arrive the staff at the store brought out a chair and blanket for the woman so she could be warm and comfortable, and stayed with us until paramedics arrived.
Above and beyond people there! 10/10.

The service at the store is terrible. I purchased a small item. She slid the item fast across to the counter at me. Very rude.

Store is well mechanized, and staff was great. Storage Cabinets we were interested in proved to be like a lower end version of an Ikea product for the ikea price.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!
I went into the Jysk in Calgary at Deerfoot Meadows and Chad was SO unbelievably rude and just not helpful whatsoever. I left and took my business elsewhere and I am so glad I did. Kevin and his team (sorry short term memory here) were amazing! They helped me find everything I needed and I even scored a new patio set for a killer deal.

In the past 2 weeks, I purchased quite a bit of items from Jysk Red Deer as lots of goodies have been on sale. Not superb quality by any means but Decent quality for decent prices.

For the most part, I like Jysk but the layout of this particular location is horrendous! So so much stuff everywhere that you can’t even manoeuvre their carts down the main aisles let alone the “side” ones.
(If the layout was more accessible, I’d definitely rate 5 stars but because of basically having to physically lift the end of my cart around corners to lessen my chance of an avalanche of home decor- I rate 3).

Staffs always amazing.prices are fair and delivery was under 2 hour after I ordered online even.the furniture is as durable as anywhere else and u can find more pieces for all the sets online with wayfair!

Have boughten many items over the year from here, all of them have broken because of cheap materials

Awesome experience. Cody took the time to help me find everything I needed and made sure I got a good price on everything. Very attentive to my needs as a customer and very friendly. He was very helpful in finding everything. Will definitely come back again. He was very patient and went the extra mile to find all the products I needed.

Like a cheaper IKEA.little odd, because IKEA is cheap products at relatively cheap prices, and Jysk is like that, but cheaper.like a dollar store IKEA.

Well i went in today with a issue with a purchase of mine and the staff were very un helpful and i asked for head offices phone number and all they would give me was the times of when a store manger was on next. So i guess we will see tomorrow if they take care of the issue im having and work with me to figure out some way to fix the problem or if they will just try and push me put the doors like they did tonight! Funny how when your spending thousands no one is rushing you and very helpful and nice as pie, but when your not you get told the store is closing 3 times before its even closed and pretty much walked to the till. Just have to shake my head.will update again shortly!
