I recently purchased a duvet online for store pickup. I went to pick it up, no problems. I got home and went to take it out of the bag to wash it. The security tag was still on it. I figured it wouldn't be a problem, I'd just split open the zipper and have it out. Nope, the tag was also attached to the duvet. Staff need to pay better attention to detail. Now what? I have to go back and get it removed. Such an inconvenience that didn't have to happen. I can't even fit it back in the bag.

Went in to buy a bed. The manager was so helpful. Everyone else were so friendly.
Staff were very knowledgeable of their items. They called other locations for me, to reserve items that wasn’t in stock at this Northside location.
I find the place very clean and tidy.
I will definitely go back here again anytime.

Five stars for Stephanie!
My friend and I purchased our dining chairs at this location a while back and we had the pleasure of being helped by Stephanie. She was determined to provide us with a top notch shopping experience even though the store was temporarily short staffed during their shift change and they did not have the support of a store manager either. The store was crawling with people, the front end needed her help, other staff had questions and she made herself available to everyone in turn; all while apologizing profusely for not being able to help us all faster! I don't think I have seen anyone work that hard in a very long time. I was amazed by her dedication to running a successful store and her genuine care for her customers. Stephanie, you are a real gem! I hope your bosses know how lucky they are to have you. Thank you again for all your help!

Racist, rude and untrained staff including. Manager, came to pick up my stuff with my receipt orignal one but they refused. Reason of refusal was that coz i took pics of receipt so that in case i loose paper as i bought my product 2 weeks back. Hailey who dont know what to do in this situation was rude and telling me i dont let u take anything. I asked for manager she did drama of calling manager and told manager said no. This is phone world even other store are sending receipt on ur phone. Receipt had my cc number to verify, my name to verify from my id, my phone number to verify to call me. But those racist people just wanted me to send back home and told me no receipt no product lol. I have a business too and can tell from credit card number and pull up receipt. Please teach your staff to be smart rude but foolish people. When returning she never asked or verify my card if money is going back on same card. But while picking up she said someone can pick up receipt on road and can take product. Even someone find receipt on floor they should still verify the name. Most idiots i have ever seen in my life.

We shop here alot and are always surprised what is new and affordable that has come onto the market l got a little guys who keep your lid up to stop the food from boiling over now all my friends want one from small items to big items there is always something u need thank you to Jysk for all the ideas that u bring that are so useful

The service I received was both quick and friendly. The lady who helped me find what I was looking for took the time to actually determine what would work best for me and was able to come up with a few suggestions. The store was well organized and things were easy to find.

Staff is always right there greeting & asking if they can help with anything. Store is always clean & organized & easy to get around in. Rochelle is very knowledgeable about her all her products in the store & has great suggestions & advice to make things come together beautifully.

Nice store, clean, spacious. Did not have colours we were looking for. Also, planter boxes were overpriced. Went to home depot and got same planters for much less.

Decent prices we ended up getting 2 bookshelves and 1 little bench for the back door (came with cushon and space for 3 wicker baskets underneath). All 3 products have lasted under a year.

1 bookshelf had all the shelves warp, the 2nd bookshelf (which only had 1 bottom shelf filled) cracked on the leg and was found 1/4 the way off the wall (glad it didnt fall on any children).

The bench wasnt used to be sat on it was used as a decoration and to hold a work bag. Baskets had mittens and toques underneath in their slots. The bench itself broke at the seat part as the screws loosened from having a bag sit on top.

Save yourself the money and get furniture that will last you longer and is actually reliable. Now were stuck looking to replace 3 items as well as having to haul it to the junk yard when replacements come in.

I walked into the store wanting to buy a wicker set. Lady asks if she can help me. I inform her I'm deciding which one I want. She proceeds to tell me they close in 5 minutes.

Very very bad customer service. I won't be back.

I came to buy a whole desk set up for myself and every single employee kept walking directly past me but still asking older looking individuals if they needed assistance. After trying to find someone for almost 30 minuets to help me I finally asked if i could get some help from a lady doing stock. When I asked if they had the desk in stock the employee told me that they didn't then walked away leaving me to look for another employee to help me and even that took another 20 minuets. Finally was able to get someone to help me out and he was very kind and helped me right away. Spent almost an hour in the store even though I knew exactly what I wanted.

My daughter and I were shopping around for a new area rug for her room. Once we entered the store we were greeted immediately by Rochelle (the store manager). She lead me directly to what I was looking for. Since I was so undecided on the size of the rug that I wanted she went above and beyond to find me ones in my exact measurements. You can definitely tell she cares about her customers. I will definitely shop here again!

After reading most of the reviews for this location, feels like my opinion here is somewhat valid when I say after wondering around looking for something with no employees in sight, two finally come walking my way and I very nicely ask where something would be with another blondish employee coming right up behind me afterwards cutting me off mid sentence with a “yeah actually don’t ask her questions she has to go to the front desk she’s busy” instead of just a “I can help you out actually! ”, got out of that conversation with that lady as fast as I could and left. Seemed like she was in a higher position as well which makes me even more sad: (hate to see it

I recently visited this Jysk store located in the North, in hope of getting a new blanlet, pillows, pillow case, & flat sheets for my bed as it needed new once. The staff here are amazing, they are kind helpful and are very patient.
I was assisted by a lovely lady named Nadine, who not only helped get the best blankets but helped me with good suggestion of flat sheets that i can grt in many varieties. I noticed that she had good patience some rude customers and seemed to have kind of a difficult day her self, so i was impressed with how calm and collected she was she responded to my questions and had such a good knowledge of what I was looking to purchase and had given me good suggestions, the purchases i made were because of her good suggestion and her good sense of style too. I did however tell her that I was going to give her a good review, so i hope that when she reads this, that it makes her day and puts a big smile on her face like I saw when i said to her that I was going to give her a good review, the moment i seen her smile, i very well knew that she deserved it and she was humbled about it.
I just would like to say that i had a good customer experience from Nadine, and this was the best customer service i have encountered in a while compared to other places i have been to.

I don’t ever do reviews but after my experience at this location I’m compelled to. I don’t want to discredit Jysk as a company because I’ve had an amazing experience at the other locations within the city as I’ve been shopping with Jysk for years but this location.disgusted to say the very least. I bought I duvet set from this location and it came with a bed bug in it, completely sealed. I understand it’s not necessarily their fault that, but it’s the way this location regarded this incident that disgusted me. I came in, explained the situation to the manager Rochelle and there was no apology, she has a nonchalant careless attitude. Almost like it isn’t the first time this occurred. It seems like no one in that building has any customer service training. Besides that, I emailed head office, they were super helpful and apologetic which is all someone can ask in a situation like this. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I highly recommend shopping and a different location or different store in general.

Went to purchase a bedframe.there was plenty of staff working and not a single one offered any help. We weren’t greeted or acknowledged. I won’t be shopping at jysk again.

Visited this store to purchase a bathroom rack. There was about three customers in the store, plenty of staff. Nobody offered us any help, let alone even greeted us at all during our visit. I will take my money to one of the plenty other home stores in the city.

I have shopped here numerous times in the past but recently I have made a few purchases that required help and or information from the staff. I was able to find someone knowledgeable and willing to stop what they were doing each time it was required. These days that seems to be a non existent. I was very pleased with the managers service and attitude. She had her staff moving and questions answered.

Went the other day and all the staff were very rude and acted as if I was bothering them there was nobody helping me pickup the item I ALREADY PAID FOR from the back.its really dissapointing as this is my favourite store, but I guess ill be going to the mayfield store from now on as they actually treat their customers with respect. Also told me to contact the help desk they did nothing so please dont respond back telling me to contact them, It wont happen.

I bought a bed from them and they didn't do the final check for all the parts and so I had to come back twice for little things such as screws and the bed slats. It wasted a good two hours of my time! Would not recommend for furniture.

Very friendly staff. We showed up a few minutes before they opened and we were allowed in. Store is kept very clean and organized. Washrooms smelled great again, very clean.
It's a great store but they seem to have gotten rid of a lot of the very low cost sale items that used to get me in the door.

Extreamly clean store very helpful staff. We purchaced a sofa and patio furniture from the north side jysk store the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. My wife used the bathroom and commented on how clean it was for a retail store. We opted to have it delivered and the delivery company they use were very convenient! They called to confirm our delivery, asked us what time in our 5-9 slot was best for us. When they arrived they were clean well spoken and very friendly they placed our patio stuff on our back deck and brought our sofa to our living room. Without asking they removed their shoes and were careful not to damage anything as our house was just built. I would recomned this store as well as their delivery service.

Sales people are not knowledgeable and product is crass. I bought a $500 mattress and it was ripped out after a year. Never going to them ever again.

Return with no receipt was a sale item @ $19.99 reg. $39.99.they were hesitant but realized I only was being honest about price paid just exchange straight across. Only she understood no fishy deal it was all good.
