What a condescending jerk at the front desk. Wow.

I do need winter tires and a summer replacement. This will be the absolute LAST place I consider going.

The manager at this location went above and beyond to ensure that all my concerns were addressed regarding work another shop completed. Things were dealt with in a timely and very professional manner!

BEWARE. Don't waste your time going to this location.

They refused to change my "extremely dangerous" tire and sent me on my way, it's obvious that because I wasn't buying 4 brand new tires from them they couldn't be bothered to help me.

After seeing how bad the tire was then refusing to put the other one on, then to let me drive away with my child. You should be embarrassed Kal Tire.

Never had such horrible customer service in my life.

Very disappointed. I called on April 27 to get my flat tire repaired and they said they could not book me until May 18. I will never return there.

The crew at St Albert Kal Tire are efficient and professional. Fixed the screw puncture in quick time and got me back onto the road safely. Thanks guys. I appreciate you.

Mike at the front desk and Renzo (sorry if I misheard the name) who helped me with my tire repair were very professional and did their job promptly. I’d recommend this location to anyone looking for fast and genuine good service!

Always a great experience. I've been using this store for 5 years, and we've never had a pro lemon. My one gripe - you took away the popcorn. I actually look forward to that small handful as I wait for my auto repair/maintenance. Bring back the Popcorn!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

I will NEVER go to the St. Albert Kal Tire ever again!

I brought my vehicle to their shop for an emergency on a tire that I bought from this store. I drove on a flat tire to their location because it was just near our house. When I arrived the tire had slid halfway off the rim after I turned to park in their lot. Not only did they not offer me any help, they told me to take my vehicle off their parking lot like I was trespassing on their property and disrupting their business. They told me to move my vehicle to the side of the road and didn't even allow me to wait in their parking lot until a tow truck arrives to take my vehicle to another tire shop. I was speechless! They really treated me like TRASH!

All of this just because they were "FULLY BOOKED" and were "BUSY" they said.

Customers BEWARE!

Very condescending, when I asked about the wear left on my summer tires they hadn’t recorded this on my service paper work. I spent $1800 on tires and service and they are condescending to me. Ouch. I think I’ll try a different garage. Big Kev’s is fantastic but busier because they are so good. Worth waiting for the better customer service.

I am never going back here again. We brought our tires to be stored for the season. I called a week ago to get them out. I would have booked a tire changeover but they're booking into the third week of November. So I asked if I could just pick them up. The person I spoke with was great. He said yes, no problem, the tires would be here by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. This first call was made last Thursday. Great! After no call this Tuesday, I called Wednesday morning to ask if they knew if the tires were coming today. I was basically told they would get here when they get here. I asked if not today (Wednesday) if they might know when. The response was "it's still Wednesday isn't it (with a chuckle). I'll call you when they're in". If I had known when we brought them to be stored that it would take more than a week to get them back, I would have called sooner to get them out. My husband called today (Thursday, a week after I called to get them back) and he was treated the same as me. Very rude and basically was told they'll get here when they get here, certainly not what I was told a week ago. Thank you so much Kal Tire for your NOT great customer service. Can I please have my winter tires?

I received excellent customer service today from Phil at the front desk and excellent advise from Johniel in the service department. Like many I think, I don’t often take the time to express appreciation when I receive good service. Thanks guys. I will be back for my seasonal tire change over.

Had a tire losing air. They were able to squeeze me in for a walk-in at 1pm on a busy day, and had it done by 4: 30pm. Hole was found, repaired and was cheaper than expected.

Why? November 26,2020 you recommended front and rear brake service on my vehicle that is just rolling over to 100,000 km in May 2021. We had a full brake service done at 60,000 km so I was leary on your $872 recommended brake package. Took my vehicle in for a second opinion elsewhere to learn that there is only about 50% wear on all brakes. Way to lose a customer and damage your reputation.

Mike and Brian, have been extremely helpful and professional.
Prices have been better than other locations including Costco and service is instant.great online service as well. I highly recommend this location.

I brought my car to this location to put my winter tires on. I recently took my car for an oil change at a new mechanic and they showed me my tires were put on wrong. Kal tire had also told me my brake pads had worn out.mechanic today told me my brake pads are in great shape. This Kal tire told me something needed to be fixed on my vehicle for hundreds of dollars when in fact it wasn’t needed. BEWARE. Place is a SCAM.

Alway had good and honest service here. Today Jenaya reset my tire pressure sensors and topped up the pressure in all tires OUTSIDE (!) at - 20. No charge. I'm a customer for life.

Very fast, affordable, and honest. When we needed to replace one of our tires they could easily have told us that we would need a new set, but no they gave up a much bigger sale but won our business from here out.

Dean and Mike are fantastic to deal with. You will get a no BS experience and the whole crew works to make it right. Top notch service. Well done all.

Got me a great price for a set of new tires. A smaller lobby than most but the free popcorn makes it worth it.

Over all my experience was ok. They took a good portion of the day to do a tire swap (tires on rims) the employees where kind and helpful. The only thing I was not a fan of was the over bloated quote they gave me. They wanted almost $2,000 dollars for changing the front and rear pads and rotors. I had the work completed elsewhere for around $500. So over all the experience was ok but not outstanding and I would recommend getting a second opinion or looking into getting your own parts elsewhere.

Disappointed in service provided. Inquired about winter tires for our vehicle went over all the details of the truck and tires and were told yes these will work, would take a day or two to get in and booking installs for next week.
I said I would call back to confirm, asked if I needed to talk with her again. She said no anyone can finalize the booking. Called back the next morning to finalize and the salesman I spoke with this time said no these tires won’t work and that they had no studded tire that would work. I tried explaining that we had already verified the details ourselves and with kaltire staff at two locations (price checking) but he just kept saying no he could not sell us the tires.
I called the Kaltire on Yellowhead right after which I hadn’t spoken to yet. Inquired about the same tires and had no issues. The tires were installed the next day.

The work was done fast and efficiently. The staff I dealt with personally were great! I'm a First time customer and I will be going to that shop from now on.

Had a flat repaired, forgot to ask for the lug nut lock key back, realized this when I went to put the steelies on. Called them and was told it was either by my spare (external mounted underneath), with the jack. It wasn't, or elsewhere "in the car". Major headache now. Won't be patronizing them again.

Update May 15.2019
Took the car in for a tire rotation. Have come to understand that Kal Tire is good for tires and tire service. DO NOT believe what they tell you about the condition of you vehicle. Was told I had two rear Struts and one front strut leaking and need to be replaced. Took the car to the Lexus dealer, all Struts are perfectly fine. Same thing happened on my 4Runner, said it needed new ball joints etc, dealer checked them, all well within spec. Both vehicles drive perfectly fine, no wander, no wobble etc. On top of that, absolutely no comment about the check engine light and check VSC System warning being illuminated on the dash. (Was just a loose gas cap but surprised they missed a pretty big warning sign) Kind of wonder if they were driving it with their eyes closed.

Still very good service on tires but definitely not a repair shop.

Friendly staff, but waited over an hour for flat repair even though I had an appointment. Also was told my new shocks (less then 2 years old) were leaking and need replacing. They didn't.

Do NOT take your BMW here! I called multiple kaltire shops (upon a recommendation) to ensure they were capable of performing a BMW spec wheel alignment, as I just installed new tires. I even got transferred through to the acting technicians, to speak with them directly and dispel so called “myths” that only BMW was fully equipped to perform a proper alignment on my 2016 x5. They assured me this ‘myth’ was BS and that they were more than equipped. I bought into what they sold me, and figured I’d save a few bucks and a bit of time taking it to this location. Man, was I wrong! Not only were they unable to finish the rear passenger wheel, but they were supposed to do a weighted alignment, and didnt do it. When I inquired, they lied to my face, saying there were sandbags in it, and that the tech would take it for a spin then unload them - I watched the entire process and not a single bag went in, or out of the vehicle (just my old tires). I obviously didn’t pay for the alignment, as it wasn’t done. I did have the new tires mounted and balanced there, and they reimbursed me the next day for this. That being said, they didn’t use rubber blocks when they jacked up the back of the vehicle and marred the axle. Ended up taking it back to BMW and had it done in no time for only an extra $75 (well worth the 4hrs I wasted at kaltire). I have the before and after specs from kaltire and their ‘after’ specs on the 3 wheels they did do were actually out of BMW spec. Spare yourself the time and money with your Bimmer and go to a certified BMW tech. (Kaltire was actually upcharging for this vehicle, because they said a BMW tech would be doing the work.)

Fast, friendly, and honest service. I had booked my truck in for an alignment and tire swap. They identified an issue with one of my upper ball joints and informed me it would be a waste of money to have the alignment done until I was able to repair the ball joint instead of doing the alignment and billing me. A big thumbs up for that! I will definitely be back for the repair and alignment.

Excellent people, the only company I buy my tire's at. Not pushy sales and great service, no matter the location.

Even with a full lobby of customers waiting and the phone constantly ringing, they still took the time to address me properly and courteously and the service was fast and well done.

Bought tires at Kaltire a few years ago. At the time they gave free wheel changes. This deal was respected in another province, but upon return this shop refused to honour their own deal. They have now ceased to respect this deal, even though it was agreed to with these tires. Very dissatisfied, as this is my wife’s car and I’m not always around to change the tires. $180 later, it appears they also tried to up sell brakes, etc.even though they were recently replaced. Fountain Tire offers the free wheel change, rotation, etc. I guess I’ll be going there for my new set of SUV tires X2 sets, (winter and summer).
