Kal Tire

I was in for a seasonal changeover on October 21st. All appointments were backed up as they over booked based on the amount of technicians they had available. My car was completed after 2.5 hours but it was during that time I was witness to the manger using inappropriate language and escalating an argument with an unhappy customer and also wrongly advising and elderly couple. I couldn't believe this is how they treat their customers and that this behavior was coming from leadership. It's clear this establishment needs to improve their leadership and hire at least one person with soft skills.

We've always had a good experience here swapping seasonal tires. They've been on time, and honest. No complaints.

Called to book a wheel alignment after I had priced it out online, with the model and make of my vehicle, at 155$. I didn’t want to buy the tires I had put in with the order and realized I need to actually call so did. When I got on the phone, I was told that because my vehicle was a certain model and had specialized pieces it would be 310$! Why would that not have shown online then?
To make this better, I called 2 other Kal tires and gave them the same information and they quoted the 155$ as well, not the 310$ for specialized pieces. I feel like these guys are complete liars and absolutely out to try to fleece you out of your money. I will never support them and actively share this story with anyone who asks.

Made online appointment, everything was set and ready to go. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

July 3 - no change. Staff is still friendly and knowledgeable. Though they seem to be adding more services than they previously had.

Came out of the house yesterday morning to a flat tire. As a university student in the middle of final exams, this was not the added stress that I needed. I called Kal Tire to see if there was any way I could get it fixed that day, fully expecting to pay for the repair. Ryan was fantastic on the phone and said that he would squeeze me in between appointments before the end of the day. At the shop, it was a lady who helped me out (I’m sorry I didn’t grab the name) and she was also great. To my pleasant surprise, since I bought the tires from them, the repair was completely free, both of charge and hassle. The repair was done in under 3 hours and they did a great job. Thank you so much Kal Tire Cochrane for turning a rough morning into a sigh of relief. You’ve got a lifelong customer.

Got a nail in the front right tire driving into town. Dropped in, walked to Half Hitch for a sweet burger, walked back, tire was fixed, went on with my day. All fixed under warranty. Great service and great staff. I still think about that burger.

I noticed that I picked up a nail in my tire so I made an appointment to bring my car in to the Cochrane Kal Tire to get it repaired. I hadn't lost any pressure but I figured it was just a matter of time. It turned out that a fairly large screw had only penetrated the outer rubber but not past the steel belt so no air was being lost and it didn't require a repair. They didn't charge me anything for their work which was a pleasant surprise - we don't get many of those these days. The service was quick and courteous and I'd recommend them based on my experience.

Cochrane Kal Tire, great staff and great tires. Been a long time customer and would recommend buying your tires from here. Have been saved a few times with flat repairs as I worked in construction and have driven on nails and such. They offer great options for tires at all price points and can answer any question you might have.

Ordered tires and made an appointment for 3 weeks from the date of order. When I showed up they told me they "forgot" To order the tires.they did not even call me to tell me.they just waited till I got there to tell me.: (If you can't even get the very basics of ordering the Tires that you sell to people, then I don't think I can trust you to properly put lug nuts on. Called Fountain Tire and they got me in the next day.and they did not forget to order the tires. Sorry Kal-Tire But you have lost a customer for this dreadful service.

The new location is so bright, open & roomy with so much parking!
Quick & efficient as always.
I drop my car off & do errands or walk my dog. It should be noted- that not a Kal Tire issue- there aren’t side walks from Kal Tire to almost the shops/restaurants. Its a flat walk but there are big curbs to step over while walking in a grassy ditch. If one had children or a stroller or a mobility issue, it wouldn’t be a safe or easy walk.

Last week my 83 year old parents were heading back to Kelowna and had a nail in their front tire. On my recommendation i said they should go to Kal Tire right when they open. When this frail old couple stopped by they were told they would have to wait until 1: 00 PM before they could be fit in! - Not acceptable. I know that no one with an appointment would have minded helping these two out. My wife's tires are stored there and I will be picking them up - we won't be back there as a customer again. Another shop down the road fixed their tire immediately so they could get on the road home.

Tires fine. Workmanship fine. Customer service GARBAGE! Unwilling to process our payment over the phone. Sorry guys, some companies start work before 8am and roll back into town well after 5pm. Need tires? Go to Fountain tire, TireCraft, Erols…. Anywhere but this haphazard excuse of a business.

My cousin from B. C.was stock on Hwy 1 with a flat tire and no key for his Durango's lug nuts. Came here with full intensions to purchase one and they just gave it to me to use as long as I returned it, which of course I did. I have and will go here in the future. Great service!

I have to say, I was extremely impressed here.

This store is the closest Kal tire located to me- at over an hour drive from my house. I went here because they were the only ones who sold the tire I wanted.

Ryan, the guy who handled my sale and service was top notch. Thorough, hassle free and just a normal guy who knows tires, no pushy sales, didn't try and up sell me any un-needed service and got me in and out quick enough.

For that, I will continue to drive an hour to this spot for anything tire related I need.

Although they were not alliwed to do a grease change on my hubs. They infirmed me i didnt need sny. Completed tire swap quickly at a reasonable price. Thanks

Very poor customer service - unwilling to assist us with our needs, it was like we were wasting their time. FYI your uncaring attitude resulted in a $5k loss to your sales this past Monday Cochrane Kal Tire - tsk tsk tsk.

Completely recommend taking the 40 minutes to drive to Ward Tirecraft in Calgary, where the Customer Service is Fantastic, they are willing to help and even offered ways to save money! Go Ward Tirecraft!

We got a flat while traveling. Wrecked the tire. They went above and beyond to find us some tires and get us back on the road
