Amazing service no matter which Kal Tire location I go it, and KT South Common is no different.

They're always looking out for their customers, and are not trying to gouge you. Their customer service is worth the quality of work, every time.

I say this is a mechanic myself, I will always come here for any wheel and tire related concerns that I can't solve myself.

I have been using this Kal Tire for most of my tire needs. I always find the staff really helpful and friendly. Specially J is absolutely awesome. It is the second time in my deal with them that he has helped me above and beyond. I had tried to get my tire change at Costco but they couldn't help me with my urgent needs. But J from this branch of Kal Tire helped me enough that I didn't have to take time off from work to get my tire change done. Recommend this branch a 100%

Dave was absolutely wonderful to speak and work with. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and kind! Definitely worth going to for peace of mind when it comes to your vehicle.

Please arrange your technician before giving the appointments, it’s been third time with me in last 6 months, canceled the appointment at very last moment. Will never visit kal tire.so many options in market.

Service writer behind counter clearly hates his job. No one else in the store, we are are standing there and he refused to look up and greet us. Rude. We were 1 hr early as we live out of town and he refused to take our truck despite only 1 car on a hoist. Told me how busy and under staffed they were. Ok fine. Brought the truck back for the appointment. We were told 60 - 90 minutes. Got truck back 2.5 hrs later. Fine. I payed $3000 for wheels / tires and they couldnt even take the plastic off center caps or ensure the wheels were clean. Fine. THEN driving home, warning light 85psi on one side and 64 on the other The tech put 2 tires aired up to 85 psi (over inflated) on the left side, and 65 on the right. So we stop at a gas station to fix this mess. The new TPM they provided are not working properly either. Oh! And they didnt have time to do the wheel alignment they tried to sell me. Good job At least the assistant manager was polite and friendly when I paid the bill. The other guy needs further training on customer service.

**UPDATE after my review was posted. I did receive a phone call from management. He was very kind, polite and wanted to resolve the situation. I appreciate this very much.

I have been going to this store for a long time but won't be going there anymore. I recently brought in my vehicle to this store for a wheel alignment & used a mailer coupon. The store was able to give me an appointment & take in my vehicle on the time scheduled. After couple of hours I got a text that my vehicle is ready for pickup. Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle the store associate was more concerned in receiving my payment rather than explaining the work or any findings. Since it was a mechanical service I was expecting more thorough work & under the body inspection covering status of brakes, shocks & struts but no effort was made by this store, whereas other Kal tire stores performing the same service did so on my other vehicles. Upon asking for the schematic information for the wheel alignment, I was not provided & told it was for internal use. They quickly charged me for this service & out I went with my vehicle. The next day I took my vehicle for an oil change to a different store & they told me that the rear passenger sway bar link was broken. I was totally surprised at how this didn't get noticed at Kal tire as I was there for the wheel alignment a day back. Totally dissatisfied, disappointed with the thoroughness of service at this Kal tire store. The following day I took my car to another Kal tire & got the sway bar link fixed. Just not returning to this store as I felt like getting ripped off for no work done.

The service at this location was used to be fairly good comparing to many other locations. On my last visit, I have noticed that the service quality is going down at this location too.
I always prefer the rims on the wheels are placed facing up back in the vehicle. On my last visit one of the wheels was placed the wrong way. There was some fresh (white) paint on the rear driver side door. From my many years of experience going to different repair shops, I can sense that the quality of work is gone down at this location now.

I don't usually writing a comment but I shoud this time. Yes, English is my second language and I don't know about car but that doesn't mean you can talk to me rude. The front desk worker didn't explain enough what I didn't understand and I felt very embarrassed because of him today. I hope he changes his attitude and another customer in the future doesn't feel like me.

I had an appointment at 9am for brake pad replacement, which was supposed to be a one hour appt. After 1.75 hours I asked why it was taking so long. They said it took 75 min and my appointment was at 10. I showed them the confirmation text that it was at 9am (which is when I arrived). He said it would be 10 more minutes, which is was. But I would love to know how long I would have been sitting there had I not inquired about the wait. So in total I waited 2 hours for a 1.25 hour job. No apology or acknowledgment of their error. That would have gone a long way. Do better, Kal Tire.

First time as a customer the people at the front desk were great had amazing service booked right in and were supper kind, the mechanic who did my tire repair was quick and very kind nothing but smiles very respectable young man, would recommend getting work done here the service is worth it.

I came into the Kal Tire South Edmonton Common location since I was getting a recurring low tire pressure warning on my TPMS. It turned out that my tire which is a runflat was okay but I had a cracked wheel from hitting a pothole. Kal Tire quickly diagnosed the issue, sent my wheel out for repair and remounted and reinstalled the tire within a day. Great fast and efficient service!

5 star rating, I spoke to a lady on Thursday to discuss tires. She was friendly, helpful n knowledgeable about tires, I felt like I was talking to a friend, we shared a few laughs. On Friday, I was there to have tires installed, two gentlemen I dealt with were helpful, friendly n respectful. The place of business was very clean. Yes, it does deserve 5 star rating.

Great service on an emergency tire repair. I thought I was going to be left out in the cold during a very busy tire season, but Cal tire fit me in, ordered the tire and fixed it for me very quickly same day!

Went to get some air in the tires on thursday morning and the guy doing the filling was a bit of a jerk. He needs manners. To learn not to slam vehicle doors.

Went in to get my tires/wheels swapped out for my winter set and I noticed that a noticed a lug nut was missing when service was complete and I was about to drive away. When I inquired, they said "we couldn't get it back on" and that I should buy a new one NAPA or a dealership.

That's fine if it had been communicated to me at pick up, but if I hadn't noticed it myself I could have been driving all winter with a missing lug nut because no one mentioned anything to me. That's not acceptable. If you swap out tires and leave a lug nut off, you need to tell the customer.

I do note that my sheet said that I needed three new lug nuts at my next service, but I specifically confirmed that was a go-forward item not anything impacting the current tire swap.

Walked in to buy a new set of tires the one guy at the counter was talking to his buddy on the phone leaving 2 people that only booked appointments. Waited over an hour to get told they're closed and they couldn't help me. Never shop here
