Great service as I needed to be at Hospital in a short time they put air in my tires and no charge. They have my vote.

Came in on a Saturday to have my winter tires put on. The appointment was effortless and refreshingly no one tried to upset me on anything. Then a few days later, driving home the tire pressure light came on. I called as I was close by and they asked me to come in, saw me promptly and added in some extra air and checked everything was okay. I appreciated the extra care they gave after my appointment.

Did not receive any text messages when the service was done as promised. Otherwise not bad.

Great, knowledgeable staff. I told them what I needed and they made sure what I got worked with my vehicle. Friendly staff, great product and an overall excellent retail experience. That’s why I’m a repeat customer many times over.

My recent experience with Kal Tire has left me fuming. I shelled out $165 for winter tire installation, higher than industry standards, but whatever. So I received a text saying my car was finished I pay and leave well to my surprise.all four tires are flat like no air added at all! Almost unbelievable actually. How is that even possible? ! This gross oversight not only raises concerns about the potential damage to the lifespan of my current tires but also the infuriating possibility of ruining my rims.
Luckily i figured it out quite quickly and immediately drive back to the shop, they were gracious enough to add air to my tires in the parking lot.

Oh and not to mention the grease that is currently smeared all over my tires and rims that was left during installation. Never in my 25+ years of swapping winter/summer tires have I experience such unprofessional workmanship.

What's worse is the utter lack of accountability. It's as if they couldn't care less about the potential consequences of their negligence. Kal Tire needs to wake up and realize that their customers deserve more than shoddy service and potential costly damages. This level of incompetence is simply unacceptable.

These guys have always taken care of our tires for both our vehicles. Anytime we have n issue they are so kind and always open to having a look and helping out.

I sent my gf to do a winter tire swap, we brought our own rims and tires we told the rep to be doubly sure they would fit as we had concerns (the car and rims were used)

After driving 4 blocks she heard the brakes rubbing and had to wait for a 130 appointment to get the work undone

Did not offer a refund but instead "didn't charge to swap back"

When brainstorming solutions the rep told My gf to try black steel rims, when asked if they could be brought to this location, we were told that shop "doesn't like to share stock" and would have to go to sherwood Park and book an appointment a further incontinence and time

I formerly worked for kal, I expect better

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Came in for my appointment at 10am to get my winter tires on. Been waiting here 3 hours. Other customers that came in after me have already left.
There is a line of customers who have been standing in line over 15 minutes waiting to check in and the employees behind the desk are completely ignoring them.
Not a single employee has acknowledged The line of customers. They are ignoring them as if they are not even there.
I will not be coming back to this location again.

We are so grateful for the service we have been provided by DJ, Mehmet, Matt, and the team. The techs are so friendly and ensure that your tires are in good condition. We pull up to get air, or get our Tire pressure monitors reset: No attitude, no complaining, especially in -20C to -30C temperatures. Their quotes are honest, they inspect other mechanical issues (struts, shocks, etc.) And they give you their honest opinion on how concerns can be handled, no pressure tactics. If there was a mistake or your wheels not sounding great, they will fit you in within reasonable time frame. Very thankful to have a service location we can depend on for help on short notice.

Still great to talk to the Ellerslie Kal Tire Team. I always feel looked after when dropping off my tires for them.

So quick, and they call immediately when or if they find something.

I think after a half an hour on hold without a human acknowledging u is bad all the time the recorded message is they are HELPING Customers, Other than that a half decent Shop

Never going back here again. I have custom painted wheels that they chipped and scratched up. Also they left a bunch of that sealant stuff on the outer sidewall of the tire which after washing and scrubbing hasn't gone away. Careful if you guys have painted wheels, don't take your car here.

This location has always been my Kal Tire, and why you ask? Go and drop in and get ready for a great experience.

The employees are super friendly, I appreciate that they were honest about which tire swap would be best for my vehicle instead of trying to get me to pay more money for the other option that I had originally thought was best:) thanks!

Exceptional customer service was willing and able to help me out on the same day with my tire balancing problem.

I had a couple of new tires put on today. The price was as quoted and they completed everything on time. The staff were courteous. I had help from two guys, Matt was one of them and I didn’t catch the other guys name. They shared some observations that I know to be true and made a couple of recommendations for future work. I’m happy with the service and I’ll be back.

We have been displaced from our home in B. C.and have been reliant on our truck and camper to survive the ordeal.
Since the truck and camper are larger and heavier than most passenger vehicles, it presents a challenge for servicing and for oil and tires.
When I presented my concerns to Matt at KAL TIRE he made me a same day appointment and rotated my tires.
When I picked up the truck, Matt presented the keys to me and an invoice for no charge.
Amidst all the chaos and upheaval in our lives, this act of kindness gave me a new perspective on what it means to care.

When it was determined my tire needed to be replaced (not just repaired) Sarah went right to work to locate a replacement tire at another location and everything was completed within a few hours. Nobody likes an unexpected flat tire but Sarah was competent and a calming presence in the midst of an unfortunate situation.

Fantastic service, great staff. They managed to squeeze me in when it was super busy to pack 2 screw holes in my tire right before closing.

This is the best of the best when comes to customer service and car maintenance. I was here today July 06,2022 for new tire install and synthetic oil change. In just 45 minutes, the service has been completed. So with all your car needs. Dont go to the Dealership, you gotta come here for your car maintenance.

I am not satisfied on todays visit which is July 31,2023. The service advisor did not satisfy my expectation. She reiterated that I should change the right tie rod which is causing the issue on the front wheels. They refuse to rotate the tires which is recommended at every 10,000 kilometers. Of course, I got my brand new tires here. So rotating the tires will be at no cost. She further argues that I should do this recommendation now >>>tie rod $153.00, other mechanical parts>>>$176.60,4 wheel alignment>>> $155.00.

Tie rod at Canadian Tire is only $47. How come there’s $106.00 difference?

"Fixed" a part of my tire that wasnt even the problem, and missed the actual hole.and way overfilled my tire with air- over 10 PSI over thr max recommended pressure. Glad it didnt burst! Not very confident in their mechanics. Will not be back.

Very unfriendly employee with short hair yellow/blonde I don’t really know what was wrong with her not even an eye contact or simple smile as she was forced to work on Sunday
I called at 8: 30 and was told first appointment to take care of my tire is 9: 30 am, I waited in a queue one person only and I waited for 15 minutes while I can see other employees setting having their morning coffee comfortably like it’s no one is interested even to look at you.
Immediately I called Mr Lube only 400 meters away across the road and man I really felt the difference big difference starting from the phone call which was the least to say it was welcoming enough to go to them and that was the best decision I made

Professional, cordial, and straight-forward customer service, fair prices, and YES they do more than tires. Been here twice now and both times they were spot on: (1) full set of tires installed quickly and rebate explained nicely, (2) control arm assembly replaced and tires aligned at a better price than their competitors. I will be back!

Found damage on my car that wasn't there before. They didn't take accountability for it. Won't be going back
