Katelyn at the front is awesome! Super helpful and friendly, and very fun to chat with.made me feel super comfortable and at ease. She was super understanding and helpful with the slight alterations to my appointment. My winter tire changeover (needed to be put on rims) took about 2 hours which was the quote they gave me, since it’s busy season. They gave me better information and a more comprehensive service than the Mr. Lube down the road.would totally recommend and will return if and when I need to! Thanks so much!

Did not alert me that my appointment time was useless, as they were running 3 hours late. Cannot communicate after 5pm, as they shut phones off. They are still in the shop, but I needed another trip to the tire shop to understand the car was not worked on that day. Work was done the next day. I asked them not to put existing tires and wheels in the car, I would pick up with my SUV. It was on the work order and completely ignored. This was after booking an appointment 5 days before and paying the full marked price for new tires and wheels.

The team at this location has done a bunch of work on my vehicle, everything from bearings replacements to wheel changes. Work has always been top notch and the staff are attentive.

If you don’t mind waiting, excuses, and poor scheduling this is the shop for you. Book an appointment early in the day, otherwise your vehicle will not be looked at on time in the afternoon.

Repeat customer and I've always had good service at this location. Friendly staff and fairly quick even when they're busy. The proximity to Chinook Centre is convenient to grab a bite while waiting for your tire service.

I went to this Kal-Tire seeing if they had some washer fluid I could buy from them. So I asked the guy at the front desk and he said they would top up my washer fluid free of charge! I couldn’t see out of my window and this man saved me! Please support them if possible! Best customer service ever!

Fail. My wife brought the car into their shop to balance the wheels. They recommended an alignment while it was there, and they did that as well. After the service the car was vibrating worse than it was before, so the car was brought back in the next day.

The next day they rebalanced the tires, and surprisingly mentioned again that it needed a wheel alignment. We mentioned that one had been done the day before and they seemed surprised and unaware. After asking why the previous wheel alignment didn't work, the woman at the front desk replied that we shouldn't trust the results of that machine that they used yesterday. After asking why the tire balancing didn't work, she suggested the weights can fall off due to things not being cleaned properly or the cold.

So, I'm left with: why should I trust this company? They either have faulty equipment, don't know how to use the equipment, or are purposely misleading people. I now have two wheel alignment reports showing completely different things that cannot be trusted and wheel weights that may fall off again. Not to mention that on the second day the woman at the front desk acted short with us like we were inconveniencing her the entire time.

I should have posted this a long time ago, but I have honestly never had better service anywhere before. Efficient and honest are the words that come to mind when thinking of this Kaltire. Even if their prices were higher then their competitors, I would still prefer Kaltire based on my passed experiences.

Came in to get new tires installed, it took them 2.5 hours instead of 90 minutes. Complained that this was unacceptable and the manager gave me something like $40 off. Sure, whatever. Better than nothing.

My wife goes later in the week to get new tires as well and again it takes them 2.5 hours instead of 90 minutes. She complains and they don't give her anything. I guess because she's a woman they feel they can push her around. They also didn't reset her TPMS which made her panic thinking her car had a flat on the highway in her brand new tires. She is pregnant and doesn't really know cars too well so this was distressing for her despite how minor it seems.

Then to cap it all off they double-charged my wife on our Flexiti account. I call to resolve this, they are completely useless and say to call head office. I try and call head office and give up because I don't have an hour to wait on hold. I'm sure they'll respond to this review by telling me to email them, but given how helpless every other channel of communication has been, I have my doubts they'll be able to do anything to resolve this for me.

Lesson learned, I'm never going to Kal Tire again. They give 90 minutes as a quote every time, and every time, they take at least twice as long to perform the work. It doesn't matter which location. This company has cost my wife and I about a week's worth of PTO, combined, over the years just to get tires installed. I don't know why I keep giving them a chance, they keep blowing it.

Booked an appointment for a winter tire purchase + change 2 months in advance. Came in for a 10: 00 am appointment, still waiting 3 hours later. Nothing other than “shop is busy today”

Save yourself hours of waiting time and get a mobile tire specialist to change then in your driveway.

We came out of the mall to realized we had a flat tire. Fortunately we were right beside Kal Tire. We were quickly greeted by Ariana who let us know our air pressure was dangerously low and quickly found a spot for our vehicle to be looked at. She was so kind, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable despite a challenging day. Big thank you to Ariana and the rest of the team at Kal Tire!

We went in on a Saturday to get our wheels aligned and figure out what the rattling noise in our car was. There were several things that needed to be done as they called us a few times which we agreed to most of it. They call us 10 mins before closing saying the car was ready for pick up but we were out of town so we picked up Monday right at opening.
We got our car on monday and the rattling noise was still happening, the tires did not look changed and the car felt the same. We called after our shifts that day and complained about it, they said all the parts that were needed to fix the car were in the shop, and our file was placed in the complete bin.
How is this possible? This means that our car was not tested and inspected after it was “supposedly” fixed. We paid over $1200 for nothing. We paid for our car that wasn’t even worked on? I drove an unsafe car on the road thinking it was fixed, what if something happened? Who would have been liable if something happened? Car gets brought back in, they call us saying there’s another problem which is added to our cost, thankfully it was covered and we didn’t have to pay for the additional work that was done. But i just still don’t get how something like this could happen. No one called, no one noticed the parts being at the shop but no car for a whole day? At one point we thought, if we didn’t call they would have just taken our money. Always double and triple check your car after they call saying it’s completed.

I dropped off my car at Kal Tire at 7: 30am on a drop-in basis as I found a bolt in my car and needed to get it fixed ASAP as I was heading out of town. I was worried it would take all day as they were busy and I didn't have an appointment.

I got a call an hour later and my car was ready, they had an 8am appointment no-show and were able to slot my car in. I was dreading having to re-arrange my day as I didn't have a car and they turned my Monday around!

Thank you I'll definitely be coming back!

A dreadful experience. My appointment was for 2: 30 pm and I arrived a little early. I was told the work would take about 2 hours so I walked around the mall until 4: 45, when I had still not heard back. I went to the front desk and said my car should be ready for pickup. The girl behind the desk said it wasn’t ready yet. When I asked how much longer, she said I was the next in line. It turns out they hadn’t even started the work, and nobody had called to let me know, so I just wasted an entire afternoon waiting for something that wasn’t going to happen. I asked how long it would take and she said about an hour, even though the original assistant had told me it would take 2 hours. At this point I lost all trust in Kal Tire and said I’d take my car immediately. The response was a shrug and ‘Sorry about that’. They must have known they were running behind when I first arrived. Appalling customer service.

Who knew it took so long to get a quote on new tires. And who knew a 4-wheel alignment is part of a tire quote.
UPDATE: I went back to this shop because they had inexpensive tires on their website. I thought I would throw a wrench in the works and bring them 4 loose wheels. Can't charge me for an alignment if I don't bring them a car, right? Rest assured, they found another way to disappoint. The tires were inflated to 40 psi. Absolutely no car on the road ever needs pressure that high.

I have not purchased anything from them but always go to fill air and do an aircheck and ask feedback about my tires, they have a friendly staff, hopefully will do a business with them in future.

I’ve been dealing with kal tire for a number of years now, in particular the Airdrie location. I’ve had nothing but good things to say about the Airdrie location. I walked into the McLeod trail store Friday June the 3rd, there were two people at the counter, one other customer who was served and left. I was at the tire wall for some time and no one came to offer any assistance. Two girls behind counter were on their phones. I went to counter and asked why no one would say hi or offer help, one girl said it was up to me to go to counter and ask? No help at this location at all. Not even an apology from her. These two girls represent the level of service for this location, as a result I will never enter this place again.

I had a bad experience about 6-7 years ago on a summer to winter tire swap, mounted on separate rims. It took 7.5 hrs, but just 30 more minutes and do you want an oil change? Did not return.

Tried them again, and new tires mounted, balanced and alignment done in 90 minutes and no up-selling. I will return.

Rude and unprofessional receptionist who has a nerve to call you and in a very arrogant way tell you "your tires are GARBAGE, we won't replace them, but you can buy new ones that we have in store". Do they even interview people before hiring them to be service representatives? I doubt it.

I would give it a 0 if I could.bad experience. I had went in because I had a screw in my tire and requires a special key to take off lugnuts and I put the key in cupholder 2 hrs later car comes rolling out unfixed and was told a apecial key was needed so I just blew up and they made it sound like I was a liar when I k ow very well I put the key in cupholder.some irresponsible worker did not own up to it.what ever the reason I missed 2hrs of work plus am out of a special key which of course I'll be needing to replace.and the thing is I was just there 3-4 weeks ago getting winters on and my key has never left my car.

Overall the winter tire swap went well. However, I had kindly asked if they could remove the dirty, sticky glue residue left behind when they remove the old balancing weights from my rims (which are NOT cheap rims) and they did not do this for me, and it looks terrible. I had also asked about whether it was possible to re-order a replacement all season Yokohama tire for the one I recently lost (it was destroyed after hitting a metal hazard along a road being re-paved) and when I picked up my car nobody seemed to know whether any calls had been made to re-order the tire OR if it was even possible to get the same Yokohama replacement tire (and this same location were the ones that helped me order and install the same all-season Yokohama tires in the first place). SO. I left still having to scrape/clean off the old glue + residue off all my rims and having to order the replacement all-season Yokohama tire myself I guess. Just disappointed as I expect better from this location and this brand.

Never notified me when car was ready for pick up and left the car outside overnight. I gave them another chance after last time they forgot to bolt up the car excuse and it made loud noises and told me its just the noise the car “normally” makes had to argue with the guy for 15 minutes to take another look and Ofcourse i was right and they did forget to bolt up some part that were shaking.
The young lady at the front is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Fountain tire is always a better choice!

We brought our car in for a winter tire swap. The first visit I had to cancel after they told me that my 90 minutes appointment would be more like 2.5hours. I rescheduled as I had not planned for this.

I returned a week later. The car was just purchased this spring and the previous owners did not supply the wheel lock key. We asked that they break and remove the wheel locks. The girl at the desk did not want to deal with it and told us she didn’t know, dismissively. Another girl came up and let us know that we could leave it all day and they would give it a shot (not the 90 min scheduled) and we agreed so that they could provide the extra service.

Upon returning, we realized that they did not replace the broken lug nuts despite the fact that they told us they would. She did not say that they did not carry the stock, give advice on where to get them, or let us know that it was ok to drive it short distances til replaced. Instead, the girl proceeded to lie to us about how she drove without a full set. She proceeded to rudely tell us it was our fault for not providing the lug nuts or key. This was the exact service we asked for and all we got was a rude desk person. I asked her what her name was, and she lied.
Lastly, she failed to provide the full receipt and car details as usually provided by all car dealers.

I have never been spoken to like this before at any service store. I understand that these days service people have a hard time which is why I try to be extra nice, but she acted out right from the start of the day.
It was bad enough that I asked her why she was being rude, and it just got worse. This is not the Kal tire we remember from 5 years ago.

Horrible customer service take your business elsewhere. After telling the person what size tire I wanted they kept saying it was a 16 in rim I kept correcting them saying it's 15 in about two times I corrected them. Then when we go through the whole order for the quote again she says 16 inch rims, so I correct her again keep in mind I'm being calm I'm just like oh no that was 15 and have a little chuckle no problem. Then she gets snarky with me and says that no I told her 16 inch which is like come on are we in grade two? So I say no come on I corrected you two times this is the third time I told you it's 15 inch again she says no you didn't like I have not been present for the last 10 minutes. Honestly I could really care less but just the level of attitude from somebody who's trying to acquire your business just makes it a matter of principal to not give them your business, there's plenty of other tire places.

I brought my Jeep in for an oil change and wheel alignment. Left it with them for a full day to be fixed. Showed up this morning to pick it up only to be told the alignment was not able to be done because I need a new part. Didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know before showing up in person. Extremely unprofessional business over there. I would avoid this place at all costs

Ok, kaltire is a typical tire place but let me tell you why Elijah is bomb. I made an appointment to get tires on a set of rims that I had originally thought they would fit, to my surprise they didn't fit (my fault i ordered the wrong size for the rim) not only did Elijah try to fix the situation in the same day, but he was able to meet me with a compromise. 10/10 hire more people like Elijah. (shout out to the dude who offered to help while i waited in line but I had no clue what the issue was so I just waited until Elijah was free) and again 10/10 experience thank you for being understanding kaltire!

I wanted to thank Dan and the Kal Tire team for going above and beyond! We had two flat tires on our vehicle and a third that needed to be replaced on a Saturday morning before we had to leave town. They were able to get the tires we needed from another location and book us in way sooner than expected. I spoke with three team members during my visit, all super polite and friendly, and really made a stressful situation way better. Thanks for exceeding our expectations! We'll be bring our vehicles here from now on.

When I booked my tire change I had an an appointment and it took 3.5 hours to change out tires. The customer service is poor. It's a box chain so they don't really care about you.

I went to pick up my tires and they told me it would take hours to pull up the tires. They asked if I had called ahead. Last time I tried calling I got an automated machine telling to use the website. Really poor customer service. I have decided not to deal a th Kal tire again

Phoned me back at 10: 00am battery waiting for me. Core charge adjustment for old battery. Just the way it should be. No mucking about. In and out, purchase in less than 10 minutes. Great job. No muss no fuss.

Came in with a flat due to a puncture, and was told that the tire could not be repaired due to the nail’s proximity to the sidewall. Ok, that makes sense. Then told that my only option was to purchase a full set of new tires because the tread depth on the others was significantly different from that of a single replacement. Can’t replace 1, or 2, it HAS to be all 4. Staff refused to perform any work other than replacing all four tires. Very pushy sales and counter staff. I deal with fleet management as part of my job and this is crazy to me…and my colleagues who I told about this misadventure. Will absolutely not return to this location.

Poor customer service. I called literally 20+ times over a span of a few hours and tried multiple of their extensions. If you know you are busy then hire more staff or pick up and say you are busy don't just let your phone ring for hours without picking up. Went to another business that picked up the phone. Seems that they don't care about their customers.

Good evening, not many young people have the ability, kindness and compassion for being a Manager. I had a appointment at Kal tire Chinook location on the 20th, to change to my winter tires. I missed my appointment and they said I could take my vehicle in on the 22nd. A fellow named Arosen took my keys and told me if they don’t hear from me at end of day it will not be ready until the 23rd. I became very worried when I never received a call or update for 2 days. The call centre they set up was terrible, I call numerous times being on hold for 3 hours at a times. When I finally got through they had no recollection of my vehicle. I reached another Manager named Don Mckinnen from Shawville location and he told me if they don’t get it done, feel free to take my vehicle to his location and he will get it done. I live out of town and decided to take a drive there to check at 8: 00 pm. Of course very angry, I got upset at them and talk to a Manager named Bash Toulany. He told me to come back in a hour and a half and it would be done. So I go there at 10 pm and it was not done. Being angry I requested for my keys and said never mind. This Manager yelled at me as I was walking out and said “that’s what you get for missing your appointment”. So unprofessional. I then reached the other Manager Don Mckinnen from Shawville location. He was so sympathetic and told me to take my vehicle to his location. His colleague named Rbayari had it done in 40 minutes. I really appreciate Don for his help and Rbayari for staying late to complete my vehicle. Because I have business accounts with Kal tire for my gravel trucks, I have decided to continue using their company.

I've taken my vehicle here a number of times and usually am happy. I made an appointment and showed up on time, prepared to wait the standard 90 minutes at the mall nearby. When I arrived, they told me that they were at least 4 hours behind. My choice was to wait it out, or to change my appointment, but the earliest they could reschedule was in another 3 weeks. I know they had been backed up for awhile because a woman ahead of me had already been waiting for 3 hours and they told her she would have to wait even longer. Like me, she was super annoyed that they didn't call her before.

I totally understand that things happen and they can get behind, but they could have called me to tell me rather than letting me drive there and tell me in person. I then had to arrange for a ride home, as I am pregnant and waiting in a high traffic public place like the mall for 4 hours is too risky for me during covid. I would have appreciated if they took into consideration how easy it is to call or text before hand, or to offer some sort of compensation.

It should be negative 5 for sure, I booked an appointment for purchased winter tires. My appointment was 2: 30pm and I dropped my car 1: 15pm as I know how this business runs busy in winter. I received my car back 5: 50PM.you can imagine. I have experienced 2 issues there, one where 3 of my tires are installed with the wrong directional lines, even the tire manufacture has showed with arrow on tire the way to correctly install it.but guess they are overwhelmed inside and rushing themselves. I phoned the second day and asked if I can drop by to correct them, forget it.you still need an appointment after a week to correct their fault. The front desk girl asked me over the phone "Does it really matter to you those tire directional"? Seriously, if the manufacture firm set those directional lines to make tires functioning the way should be, why you are bullshutting your customers since your knowledge about tires is ZERO! I checked the manufacture website and they advise on installing the tires with correct directional lines. I Learned something, if the subject matter can not perform the job correctly first time, dont try or go there the second time.

Second, When I was waiting inside the store from 3: 00pm tell 5: 50pm, I can see how the young front staff are laughing and mingling with having fun with some workshop staff (whom may be on break). I raised this point because if there is a customer phoning for info or questions, OFCOURSE THEY WILL BE PLACED ON THE HOLD TELL THE SECOND DAY AS IT HAPPENED WITH ME BEFORE, PARTICULAR IN THIS STORE.

No doubts about the difficulties of this business based on Demand and Supply related seasons, However, based on my managerial experience, I can see (Not a lake) but huge GAP of planning & coaching from management toward their staff-reflecting their customers needs. I am sure I will receive a comment from the store for investigation, but my advise save your time for better planning & Coaching!

Their text system did not work so I wasn’t notified that my car was ready. I had to go back the next day to pick up but I was met with some excellent customer service from Elijah (I hope that’s his name). He was understanding and noted my concerns on the account. He discounted the cost of the tires to accommodate the Uber fees without me having to ask. Kal Tire does good work and I am happy I was met with some really great customer service when the ball was dropped. That’s all you can ask for.

My wife went to get her winter tires swapped on October 14. They told her that if the wheels required alignment, she will get a call to authorize the charge. Otherwise, she will get a text in about an hour to pick up the car. She was waiting at Chinook for over 2 hours and never got a text. Went back to the store and they told her that they were surprised that she didn't get a call to pick up the car and the alignment was completed without her authorization. She was forced to pay $121.50 extra for a service she didn't authorize, which was barely needed and that we wouldn't have approved if they had contacted us to discuss as they were required to do so. This is equivalent to your dealer doing unauthorized repairs and demanding payment in the thousands for work you didn't authorize. We filed a complaint with the head office and spoke to Rachelle in Customer Relations three times who said that she has escalated multiple times and it's been over two weeks and nobody has responded. This is completely abusive behaviour. Be aware of this place and they have lost me and my family as a customer forever due to their terrible business practices.

Terrible time management, I booked my appointment to change to winters at 4: 30 pm and finally received my vehicle at 8: 00pm. A simple tire swap shouldn’t take three and half hours. If your that behind cancel some other appointments ahead of time. And maybe provide a discount or something. Ive been to this location twice and it’s had poor service both times. I’m going back to the north hill kaltire. I’ve never had a bad experience there or long wait times.

Booked an appointment for a tire change at 4pm. Waited around at Chinook until it closed at 8pm and didn't receive any phone call or text so I went in to check and saw that my car was sitting there ready. They informed me that it was finished at 6pm. They basically said they are short staffed but it takes 30 seconds to send a message for pick up, infact i think it's an automated message. Instead I wasted my entire night waiting longer than needed. When I went to pay the bill was substantially bigger than I expected. They went ahead and performed an alignment without my consent. I was informed when I dropped off my keys that they would check if it needed to be done and call and ask. I have never had anything done to my car without my consent.

Took my car in for a simple tire swap. My appointment was for 5: 30pm, and the shop was clearly running behind.

I went through the trouble of going there, waiting 45mins, and then they told me they could not do it that day. I will have to book another appointment and come back. They made up some excuse about not being able to take the wheels off (they were the ones that put them on in the spring!) and they "weren't going to look for the wheel lock because of COVID and we don't touch people's things". Which sounds legitimate, but I didn't know where the lock was left after they last used it. Even if did know where, they would STILL have to touch things to get it anyway, there is no extra risk (there is even more of a risk if I had to hand it to them myself). Turns out it was in the centre console, a very common place to look.

I know it is busy around this time of year for tire swaps, but don't waste my time with excuses if you are behind, either phone me before I come in and tell me you can't make it, or keep the promise.

I've taken my car there twice now - first, to switch to summer tires, and second to fix a puncture on my tire. They are very fast and finished well before their promised delivery time both times. And their price is cheaper than other places. I'm definitely going to take my car back to them!

Folks at this location were able to get my car in on the same day (long weekend Saturday) and had a leaky tire fixed in an hour, free of charge. Very impressed! Thanks for the great service! Only feedback I have is that I tried to book an appt via website (as recommended on automated recording when calling) and I found it incredibly difficult to do so.

I have purchased Tires at Cal Tire (Chinook) many times and I have yet to leave a review. I would like to say that they are always friendly, efficient, honest and happy to help. I was distressed as I had a flat tire (a piece of steel in the side) and had purchased my tires not that long ago. They informed me that they were under warranty so my new tire (the punctured one was destroyed beyond repair) would cost a fraction of the regular price so this made my day a lot better and they also "squeezed" me in. Thumbs UP! 5 Star Rating from me.

I recently visited this location to get a wheel alignment following front suspension work on my car, i was told it would take 1-1.5hrs. I dropped my car off and left for lunch. Within 20minutes I was called and told my car was finished, which seemed way too fast. When I paid for my alignment I was told very little adjustments were required and I was provided a print out. My car immediately started pulling to the right and steering felt off. I followed up at my local KalTire in Edmonton, they showed me a print out of my alignment when they received my car, it was so far out of aligbment it was shocking. The front tires were aligned angled in towards each other, and a rear tire was also out. I am extremely disappointed with this location, they had poor customer service and shotty workmanship. I will never go back, nor will the mechanic shop I had my work done at.

Walked in at 130pm on a Thursday to a friendly greeting. Laid out my situation with a leaky tire and within 5 minutes there was a plan in place to get it looked at and fixed, immediately. I was told to come back at 4pm and the car would be done, didn't even think I had a shot at getting it fixed today, was just hoping to discuss options. But my car was done and ready to go as promised at 4pm. Thanks Bash (apologies/spelling) for the great service, I appreciated the quick turnaround. Would recommend!

I purchased 4 Wild Country tires from the Chinook location Kal Tire and since my purchased I have had nothing but problems with air leaking out of my tires. I have been to several kal Tires to have the air topped up in 3 out of 4 of my tires because I had one fixed at a different tire store and have been told that these are not a good tire for my rims. I finally had some downtime from work to get these tires fixed so I took my truck to the original store I bought them at I was told I would be charged to fix my tires. I was told today that the warranty only covers flat tires but what they can't seem to understand is when I have a valve stem leak or a bead leak my tire still goes flat so would that not be included under a flat tire and warranty? And yet they still want to charge me for that how does that work? After bringing this to their attention they still want to charge me $45 per tire to fix it. I will no longer be using kal Tire in the future for any of my 5 vehicles again. Buyer beware watch those warranties at kal tire. When I told him I wasn't going to be using them again I got the don't care attitude I don't expect this to go anywhere. If nothing else I can help future buyers. UPDATE they only charged me $25 per tire instead of 45 how nice of them. I guess I should have just let my tire go flat and had it towed in so maybe they would class that as a flat tire and put it under warranty. And then I find out after I paid the money to get it fixed I read the invoice to find out it is only a temporary fix. It would have been nice if they told me that in the beginning so I could have taken my truck where had my 4th tire fixed properly in the first place and is not a temporary fix because they fixed it right the first time.

TERRIBLE service, been months now trying to solve a problem they created with still no avail, cannot even get in contact with anyone as our several calls/messages go unreturned.
Even our Dealership is have issues contacting them to receive payments.
This place shouldn't be in business as obviously NO ONE knows how to run/manage this dump.

I had a disappointing experience with a different Kal Tire location last week but decided to give this location a try to purchase and install 4 new tires as one of mine is separating. I was given two quotes for different types of All Weather tires, $860 or $1000, but I chose the lower option because I’m on a bit of a budget. 40 minutes after dropping off my vehicle they called to tell me that the tires ordered were the wrong size, the correct size would be $1000 and not available for 7-10 business days (+$100 freight charge), or I could get the more expensive option for $1300 today. Since I do not want to spend $500 more for a mistake that was not my fault or wait 7-10 business days with a bad tire on my vehicle, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Although I understand mistakes happen, I’m super disappointed and frustrated with Kal Tire. I should add that everyone was very polite and friendly at this location though!

I bought 3 sets of tires here in the past few months, one set in July and two for winter a couple of weeks ago. The service in July was good. The second time around when I ordered two sets of tires for new vehicles I was not really impressed. My truck was finished for 20 minutes in the parking lot before they would let me pay and leave for work. For my second vehicle the guy that took the order booked me in for a wheel alignment which was totally unnecessary on a vehicle with less than 2000 kms on it. The rep that checked me out realized that this was a mistake and did not charge me for it, but because he had to take the alignment off would not give me the AMA discount!? !? He said he had already applied it which when I checked my quote at home I found was not true. I called Kal Tire customer service to straighten things out. They said they would have someone at the store call me. Two weeks later I'm still waiting.

I've updated this to 3 stars from 1. I received a call to come down to get the AMA discount on the tires that I bought. The manager was there and he was very apologetic.

Went in to buy 4 new tires for my SUV and they couldn't be bothered. 4 people at computers typing away, only one person helping the line. I left after no one said anything to me for over 10 minutes. Their loss.

I tried to ask question about Nokian Tyres' tires I was going to buy. Three service reps asked me "How can I help you? " but then after realizing that I didn't have an appointment each of them 'politely' kicked me off by saying "I will find someone else to help you. " I gave up after third rep. Chaos and horrible service.

I gave this place a try today to fix a tire that had a scree in it. I came in at around 7: 45am and they had my keys by 7: 55. They took my information and proceeded to inspect the tire. I was asked to wait in the waiting area, however, I had to leave as the WiFi was not working and I had to work. I got an automated text message at 843am letting me know that my car was ready for pick up. I payed $34.91 for removing a screw/nail from tire. Overall I was satisfied. The only reason I did not leave a 5 star rating/review is because there is room for improvement when it comes to Customer Relationship Management.

Had a puncture and needed a new one ASAP- Kal Tire were able to have a replacement tire delivered and put on my car in the same day. Brian was friendly and professional throughout- great service!

Dropped my wife's tire off in need of a screw removed and plugged. Dealt with Don with drop off and pick up. Best service we have ever had! Fantastic! Thanks for being you! We will be back to see you any time we need anything

Have been dealing with these guys for a couple years now. We had an issue with one of our tires when changed them over. They handled it wonderfully, just replaced the tire no questions asked. Very impressed!

Guy told me to go to the dealership to repair my tires from nail damage. Says it would be covered under my warranty. New vehicle warranties don’t cover damage from nails, I already knew this. Most of what he said was untrue and didn’t make sense. I don’t get why he was so quick to turn me away. It’s a tire shop after all, I’m sure they could have helped me. Went to a Fountain Tire and they’ve taken care of it nicely.

Been holding for 45 minutes. Called again, "can you please hold? " Yet they got this lady talking while you're on hold saying "waiting on hold is old school" go online or whatever. I go online and I can't find the answers I'm looking for, now back to square one. You call and you hold for ever. What a joke!

My wife took our vehicle to Kal Tire Chinook earlier this year. The quotes/estimates and inspections provided to us were completely inaccurate and needed to be materially revised more than once. Based on our experience we will never return to this location. Shame on you Kal Tire Chinook for giving the franchise a bad reputation!
