Kal Tire

Been coming here for years for all things Tire related. The Staff are always accommodating and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location specifically for its customer service alone. The stores manager is top notch. Will continue to shop.

I took a car tire in here to get repaired, there was two slashes in the tire, which they repaired with a plug. We noticed there Was a leak in the tire after it was repaired, and it wasn’t staying inflated. We took it to a different tire shop and they said the plug would never have held for very long and that we should’ve just had the tire replaced. So we ended up paying to have a tire plugged which ultimately only lasted no longer than two weeks and we had to replace the tire. When I phoned Kai tire to complain, That the plug was insufficient. They just basically said they repaired it and that’s that. Would not recommend this tire shop. They obviously don’t care about safety or doing a proper job.

They are friendly and try to help, but after spending a couple thousand on repairs, my car shutters and shakes. Brought it back, they were stumped, so I’m taking it to another shop. Both times the interior was full of greasy hand and boot prints. I won’t be doing business with them anymore.

Another five star visit yesterday and today, thats the fifth five star i can give over the last two years. SO FAR you have earned my trust.keep it up.

Decided to try a new tire company after being a loyal customer to a competitor. From the first phone call, Scott (manager) knew what I wanted and what was available within mins. We came to an agreement on what tires, booked the install a week after. I was in and out within an hour. Zero hassle and great service. Please send a thanks to your team!

This past summer I needed 1 lug nut loosened off my jeep. I could not do this by hand. I called many tire shops around Spruce with no luck. I was told I had to book an appointment and it would be a few days away. I needed to fix my rear axels so I needed it off that day. I called Kal Tire and they told me to come right over and he could do it right away! Since then I have been back a few times. Had my ball joints replaced and the jeep aligned and now yesterday, a tire repaired. If you are looking for great prices and even better customer service, Kal Tire Spruce Grove is the place to go! Thanks guys.

I have called them 6 times on 3 seperate days and after waiting 10 minutes on hold each time i just hung up, for a shop to not be able to even pick up the phone and say hey we see your call well be right with you is ridiculous. I needed a set of 4 new winter tires looks like im going elsewhere.

Just went to pick up my vehicle after it was diagnosed with failing brakes. Due to the age of the vehicle and cost of repairs etc I decided not to fix it. When I went to pick it up and get the keys the front counter worker named Cole handed me the keys and said no charge! They had spend time on diagnosis and sourcing parts but said they never did any actual work so no charge. Excellent customer service. I always have had great service when I go there or call for anything but highly recommend! 5 stars!

Excellent customer service! Fit me in last minute on a Saturday to replace a couple valve stems. Would recommend this location! The technician Dean did excellent work. Cole and the lady up front (didn't catch her name) were fantastic as well. Thank you!

I absolutely recommend this place for tires and any mechanical work. I have tried quite a few other places locally and I will not be going anywhere else! Great prices and amazing customer service!

If you need tires or any service work, make sure you visit Kal Tire Spruce Grove. The store manager, Scott Taylor is an unbelievable person who is always willing to go the extra mile. It is the worth the trip out to Spruce Grove just for the service that he provides. Kal Tire should be extremely proud to have a member of such calibre on their team. He has a get crew and will make sure to get you on the road safely. Don't waste time with other shops, just go visit Scott. He is extremely responsive and you won't regret getting your tires or work done at this store.

Kal Tire has your tires. I ordered the tires I wanted a few days ahead. I arrived on time for the appointment and dropped off the vehicle. A couple of hours later I returned and the vehicle was ready as anticipated. The staff went over the warranty and all the after sale free service which is really great. You're not forgotten after the sale.
The price for the tires were competitive and reasonable. And I love the look of the new Nokian Outpost AT tires.
I'll be back. And if you shop at Kal Tire, you'll be happy too.

Had a small issue after my last oil change. Talked to Scott and he was great to work with! Came to a positive conclusion and will still be glad to have my work done there.

Steve was super friendly. Booked me in for an appointment within two days (other places I had checked were booking almost two weeks out). Repair was super fast and done right.

Wouldn’t perform a simple alignment because apparently my (almost brand new) tie rod end is going out and is loose. The tie rod end is solid as a rock, not to mention their alignment price is 140,50 more than normal. Don’t let this place scam you.

Cole and Scott were awesome fixing a brake problem on my Porsche. Fast, courteous, and got me in quickly. Would highly recommend this business.

Very helpful staff and service. They called me for an available opening a day before scheduled service date and was able to replace my tire under warranty. Not many companies and people will go out of their way to try to help when they can so I'm very appreciative of this.

Customer service is beyond amazing! Today, in -28°C, Amber helped me check and fix the air pressure on all 4 tires, WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE! I didn't have to wait at all for someone to help me. Prices are 100% worth the great customer service.

Brought car in for alignment just like another customer was told My tie rod boots were ripped and it be 4 hundred and something to fix told them I could do myself later to find out boot was not tore and tie rod end links were ok so took to different shop and alignment was done with no issues think it's time to start firing staff and don't bother apologizing to me you will never get my business I also will be making a post on 780 tuners about you fellas

Brought our car in for an alignment, told us the front end needed a lot of work, took the car to fountain tire and they said everything was good and did the alignment

Had new tires installed, which I am happy with. However, low tire warning light was on when I picked it up. Had them look at it, they checked pressure and was told it takes time to calibrate, light did not go off. Brought it back again to have the sensors scanned. Now told that I have two dead batteries on sensors. At no time was advised this was a problem or could be. Was then told I could have new sensors installed.
Now this could be a an amazing coincidence and seeing as I found a broken sensor in my old tire, it did inspire confidence in their reasoning. No offer was made to me to correct this situation, simply pay to have new sensors put in. I work out of town so my days off are precious and chasing this around on days off is not ideal.

Super efficient team, very impressed with their speed and extremely friendly staff. Management team was wonderful and clearly takes pride in their shop! Great price to get your tire change done.

As a woman I like to go to places where I feel confident that men don't take advantage of my none existing knowledge when it comes to cars. Kal Tire in Spruce Grove is such a place. Costumer service is excellent and the prices are fair. They explain everything so I can understand. Thank you.

Honestly Kal tire is amazing! I’ve always had great experiences, and the Kal tire in Spruce Grove is no exception, amazing customer service and prompt fixes! Brought vehicle for leaking tire repair.
By the time I got home tire was almost flat.
Repair was FAIL.

Update: Tire was flat again. Took the van to Fountain Tire, was told repair faulty. FT fixed it, nominal charge. Use your best judgement.

I've only used this Kal-Tire 4 times since moving to Spruce Grove but I suspect I'll be a lifelong customer now. They are very accommodating and friendly. They do not push unnecessary repairs or try to up sell. Scott is a great customer service rep. And to top it off they give an AMA discount. I highly recommend this Kal-Tire.

Amber set the tone for our Kal Tire experience. She was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. With her help we found exactly what we were looking for in regards to 2 sets of tires and 1 set of wheels. The shop did a great job on the install.

Most outstanding service! After buying new tires from a wholesaler. The recommended installer was by first come service. We could not wait the two plus hours for install. We decided to give Kal Tire in Spruce a call. They got us right in. The staff all across the board were amazing to deal with. The installers were amazing, no scuffs or scratches on the rims and they were fast! Once we got the car home we noticed even the rims were polished! Where did they find the time for that? ! Thank you so much for the killer service!

Went in to have an Alignment done and they said my Ball Joints were bad and they can't do the alignment and handed me a hefty quote for the work to replace the ball joints. Took my vehicle in to a real shop and they said everything was fine. Saved myself a good chunk of change on that deal, stick to Tires. What a Joke.

Lets just say Kal tire has been my go to place for no BS tire solutions. This particular location had its problems but under the new manager and staff I’m happy to say that this location is now back on my radar. After reluctantly coming to this location I was quick to see that the required changes were made. Not only did they fix my flat (Scott) the manager saved me at least 1000.00 on some of my flawed ideas. The difference is Scott not only talks the talk he walks the walk by his own hands on experience that has made him a great resource for advising on what not to do to waste money. Its typical to take your dream ride and modify it, BUT we quickly forget about the warranty that truck manufacturers are all to quick to void if they can. So just a suggestion, if your head is full of ideas on modifying your ride maybe just a quick conversation with Scott may get you the best of both worlds. (warranty, and a S#%T eating grin.

Had a tire replaced under warranty, it was no longer made. They found one in BC, the last available anywhere. Although it was quite an ordeal to finally get the tire to Spruce (the problem originated in BC) when it finally did arrive, was very happy with the prompt service and cost. Great staff, very pleasant, clean waiting area. Would definitely recommend. Thanks to the many staff that worked hard to assist.

Great service all round. Got a few quotes and different opinions from a few places for wheels for my new vehicle. Went in and got a quote but also got a valid reason why the specific quote is done for safety and everything else.

Booked my appointment to show up and find out everything was done prior to the appointment they just have to put it on the vehicle.

Called my dealership because my front axle was making a terrible noise, and I had just replaced the CV joint so I thought it would be covered. Turns out I’m 4000 km over their coverage. Like I didn’t spend 40k there over the last 7 years.

Called Kal-Tire, as I was booked to change over my winters, and they adjusted my appointment time for first thing the next day, are going to fix the issue AND told me I have life time coverage on this part. Bleeping eh.

Lastly, Scott was awesome when I called! Enthusiastic about helping me out, immediately got me in, and was there to greet me when I dropped it off. Great team! If I’d have caught the other fellas name he would be getting a shout out too! He reviewed all my previous service reports from the dealership to have a good idea of where things were at.

Stopped in to have tires rotated as saw 5 techs pacing and 2 cars in shop. Was told I need an appt 2 weeks wait. Went elsewhere, 2 days wait.

Great experience so far.

Dealership had told me I needed new brakes and tires. Brought it in to Kal as they were about $400 cheaper than the dealership with way better tires and brakes. About an hour later I get a call from Kal Tire asking why I thought I needed a brake job as my fronts were at 60% remaining and the rears were at 70%. The dealership had lied to me. Which, in all honesty, doesn't surprise me as I have had nothing but issues with the dealership. Not going to name names but it starts with an H and ends with a ia.
Thanks for not charging me for something I did not need, really appreciated.

Love the new tires btw. Picked up the Nokian Entyre 2.0, smooth ride and quiet.

One suggestion though. It would have been super awesome if the tires were cleaned (some residue left behind after the installation) and some tire shine to make them pop!

I will be back as my wife's truck will probably require new brakes soon.

Excellent shop. The Manager at this store, Scott Taylor is second to no one in any industry for customer service. He looks after every customer efficiently, effectively and with purpose.and when something goes wrong he gets even better. A mess up caused a little damage to my vehicle (at Scott's previous location). The situation was handled immediately and with utmost professionalism. Kal-Tire already had me as a loyal customer, but this situation sealed the deal. Go to the Spruce Grove Kal-Tire location, ask for Scott, you won't be disappointed.

After dropping my vehicle off at 11 am this morning to get my tires changed over from winters to summers, I finally got a text at 245 saying my vehicle was ready. Im not an expert and dont claim to be but thats a lot of time to put on 4 tires. When I got to Kal tire, I found my windows down and rain covering the inside of my car, and tire lube all over my rims and tires. No effort to try and clean my car or care for my vehicle. I will not be returning to Kal Tire

Excellent service! Unlike other tire shops I've been to, they asked a lot of questions before taking in my car to ensure they had everything correct on the first try. They were unable to get the tires I ordered in time for my appointment, so they upgraded me to more expensive tires at no extra cost! I watched the technician through the window and was happy to see that he did not rush and took his time looking over his work carefully, and properly hand-torqued the lug nuts rather than just using air tools. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for new tires.

I stopped by without an appointment to get a hole in my tire repaired. They got me in very quick and it took less then an hour for us to be back on our way. Friendly, helpful and definately will return.

Wife had a nail in front steer tire.
Was told to make appointment for repair as they put air in tire with the nail in it.
Appointment made and it took over 1.5 hours to get her back on the road.

This company scammed me on a brake job! Thier tire prices aren’t anything to write home about either. If you need tires I’d suggest you just drive on over the OK tire Spruce Grove.

I just got a set of 4 new winter tires, studded them, mounted, the "Kal Tire cares" feel and all under the time originally quoted. Big thank you to the knowledgable, friendly, front counter service you are above excellent! As well as to the service tech's for the above excellent fast effiecent quality work. Just before Christmas I needed to swap my existing winter tires onto new rims for my newly purchased car. I went to KALTIRE Spruce Grove and Tyler looked after me on very short notice. Clearly, he understood that it takes customers to make a business successful and service is one of the main tools to keep customers coming back. I will be back.

Had no problems with this place. Till this week. Have had my tires changed numerous times everyseason. This week I had my tire changed again. Upon completion I noticed that they had replaced my metal after market valve stem covers with cheap plastic ones. Had to drive all the way back. And after getting them back and asking the manager why they were not returned to me he just laughed it off saying I dont know. Well I dont know if I'll ever return to your location or franchise.

The guys in the back, super friendly and funny. The girls in the front however could use a lesson in customer service. I was just in there to pick up $1,500 worth of tires loose, and I stood there for 15 minutes without even a simple hi. If I didn't get a discount through my work I wouldn't step foot back in that location

Girl at the front, terrible customer service. Sat in there well after my car was done cause she didnt let me know it was ready. Had to search for my car in the parking lot cause they just park it wherever. Been a long time customer but I doubt I'll come back to this location

Crazy expensive place. Went to ask brakes change. Just pads and they said they change everything. Won't do only pads!

Got a quote for winter tires to be balanced and installed. Arrived at my scheduled 8am appointment time and they told me they had not ordered the rims along with my tires and that I had to come back at 430pm to have them installed.

The following morning I show up to get my tires retorqued, end up waiting 30 minutes and having 2 other people (arrived after us) served before us. On top of that, the guy retorquing our tires told us that the wheel nuts were super loose and whoever put them on didn't know what they were doing.

The only upside to all this is that they waived the balancing fee due to having to take the whole day off of work instead of only the morning to have winter tires installed.

My previous encounters with Kal Tire have all been great, but I would certainly not recommend this location.

Needed a repair brought it in, they fixed it right then and there, needed new tires and they were kind enough to give a small discount to a repeat customer.

I was a client at Kal Tire for a few years. Took my car in to have my tires checked for leaks and was told by the manager (?) that my tires were too bald to even inspect. He told me I had to buy new tires ASAP because they were so bald. He then tried to sell me new tires right then and there, trying to scare me into getting them by saying things like i cannot drive on tires so bald, it’s a safety issue.bla bla. I couldn’t believe it since my tires were fairly new and I don’t do much driving. Took it for a second opinion (ended up getting a couple second opinions) all of which told me my tires were not bald. I got my leaky tire fixed at another shop with no problems. I will never be returning to Kal Tire as I figure they tried to scam me into buying $700+ tires when it was not needed. Beware if you do business here and don’t be afraid to get a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right.it saved me hundreds of dollars.

They staff and techs here are EXCELLENT! Took my Jeep here with a major problem, one that could have cost me extremely large amounts of money and with some brain power, hard work and dedication to the customer they were able to fix my Jeep and save me some money. Would recommend. 10/10

Tech chipped a huge chunk of paint out of my rear rim. Every wheels lug hole has multiple scratches from taking the lug nuts off and on.
When my car was finished the tech climbed into my car with greasy dirty hands and clothing making me have to clean my seat and steering wheel when I get home and partially in the parking lot. Was told the manager would call me the following day. Has been over a week and not heard from anyone.
Will not recommend the shop to anyone.

I went in with a wheels and tires off my car and just wanted the air topped up and they wondent do it telling me that it was a safety concern by not having them on the car.this is outrageous and the stuped. I am a lincence ed mechanic and I run a large shop and sell and service tire machines.this is very poor customer service.never go there
