Love this place for a Christmas get away with family. Atmosphere was so merry and cozy and the restaurants are excellent. Lots of kids Christmas activities to keep everyone entertained. We visited the water park 5 times during our most recent stay.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel in a very long time. The second I walked into the hotel room I was immediately hit with a foul smell. The grout in the shower was all stained pink and you could tell they haven’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The cleanliness of the room is highly concerning. The room itself looked budget and worn down, certainly not “luxurious” as advertised on their website. The second I got into bed it was plain to see where the foul smell was coming from as the mattress WREAKED of urine. When hotel staff were informed of the foul urine stench coming from the mattress, I was met with gaslighting and the manager “politely” saying I was a liar. The manager straight out refused to even come to the room and smell the mattress herself and instead continued to insist the room was fine. It is not acceptable for management to call a customer a liar when they haven’t even inspected or investigated the problem themself! I have never felt this level of disrespect and have my character be so blatantly attacked.

For $400-$500 per night, the very least that I expect is a clean room and not to be gaslit by management. Save your money and go elsewhere because this hotel’s cleanliness/professionalism/friendliness is appallingly horrible.

Overall the place needs a thorough cleaning and for the management team to receive some customer service training. Will not be returning to this establishment!

My partner and I visited between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Perhaps more an issue with our expectations than a failing of the resort, but there were way, way more children there than jived with our intent for a cozy, romantic retreat to the mountains. We obviously understand that families with children need vacation too, but the resort doesn't really market itself that way, so we were surprised to find children in the bar and running around the lobby.
Our room wasn't ready on arrival, despite arriving after check-in. We received a coupon that covered the cost of two basic drinks for our 1+ hour wait. The room was fine: clean, large, and quiet, but poorly lit, dated, and not up to the standards of other nearby hotels at a similar price point.
We ate at two restaurants on-site. The food was okay, but quite expensive relative to the quality. Somewhat expected given the captive customer group they rely on!
Overall, we didn't have the luxury experience we had hoped for, but we definitely paid a luxury price.
We shared our mediocre experience with management upon leaving and received a genuinely kind and personalized offer to rectify our experience upon our next trip to the resort. I reached out to accept this offer, in contemplation of booking another trip. No response. No response after following up three times. So, while I was willing to keep my feedback to myself and give them another shot, I'll share in case others have similar expectations as us! Obviously, we won't be staying here again any time soon.
I will say, the Nordic spa is divine. We didn't think we could spend hours there to get our money's worth, but that was surprisingly easy.
The location and setting are absolutely spectacular, but managment seems to rely on their monopoly on the location rather than finding other ways to deliver value to guests.

Great location and good service. Good activities within the resort. Bathrooms could definitely have been cleaned better.

When it comes to travelling with kids this place gets it. The service was excellent and everyone made every effort to accommodate the little ones. Every Restaurant brought the kids food out right away and there was hardly any waiting. Also kids eat free.

The kids absolutely loved the pool and we went twice a day. There are lots of water slides the right size and speed for kids and the pool was Warm enough the kids could stay in there quite a while without getting cold.

There is a small kids play area next to the pool. This was a great place for the kids to go and play. It beats being cooped up in the room and gave them some toys to play with.

The grounds are beautiful and there is a short walking path around the site. The rooms are also all new and updated with very comfortable beds and bedding.

We were lucky enough to have the s’mores outside one evening and again the staff just made this so easy. This kids loved it and I didn’t have to stress about the fire or getting the marshmallows together.

My only complaint was that there were bears on site both days we were there. Not sure there is much the resort can do about that but it was pretty unnerving to have so many bears around with the kids out.

My wife and I just spent a few days here. Beautiful and the staff is great. Great beers and food at the bar. Portion size was a bit small in the restaurant. We love it here.

The room was very clean and nice. Alex was amazing and squeezed us in to get to use the outdoor hot tub which was amazing.

Had a chance to dine at the Forte restaurant here a few times. The food is great and the service is excellent. The scenery around the hotel is breathtaking.

Property is good but the service and quality is not as expected from a 4 star hotel. Firstly our bath tub was clogging had to get it fixed. They had only provided half a roll of toilet paper with no extra rolls. We even got charged for the tv when we did not even turn on the tv.

It was a great place to visit. They gave me a bag of ice when I ran out of ice from my cooler. The lobby looked really nice and it would be a nice place to stay I imagine.

Very lovely place! As for the customer service and the pricing for the amenities you get is out rages! Was charge twice for the same room with out being refunded before my departure.

The hotel is beautifully renovated with well thought out and crafted rooms. Praise your staff as they are very attentive and always willing to help out with the smallest details. We can't wait for the completed spa as it looks like it will be fully appreciated after a full day of skiing.

I had a beautiful stay with my husband. Beautiful rooms, beautiful facility, beautiful views, friendly and welcoming staff.

I love coming here! Beautiful scenery, nice accommodations, not much to do but sometimes that’s exactly what a person needs. Also I have visited twice during the pandemic and felt safe. Can’t wait for the spa to be open to public again!

Special thanks to the kitchen staff. Especially the manager John. Great service, very friendly. Accommodating. He understands what customer service is. I intend on going back there just because of his impeccable service

Loved our short stay here. Very family friendly-came here with our toddler and he had a blast at the pool and roaming the pathways. We thought the prices were very reasonable for a resort. Free entrees for kids under 6, what a pleasant surprise! The service was the BEST, always friendly and welcoming everywhere you go. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend this resort to couples looking for a romantic mountain escape and to families for a great central location to enjoy all the Rockies have to offer.

We spent a few hours trying to cast a signal from our iphone to their tv but were not able to. Called customer service so many times without success. Then we called the reception and they k ew they were aware of the problem a few days back and that they would only could offer us a free movie. We used the washroom late and had a shower only to find that the shower had mold and was kinda dirty.

I had a staycation at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, Autograph Collection in September 2020 and it was fantastic.it was wonderful to have a safe getaway during the Covid pandemic while supporting the Alberta economy. The hotel did a great job ensuring the guests had enjoyable stays while having good health and safety protocols in place. My favourite part of the hotel was the spacious outdoor/indoor hot tub - such a great way to relax and destress amidst a crazy year. I enjoyed the Forage restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I will definitely be back!

Just popped in for lunch in the lobby bar. The ceasar salad was better than average, but the burger was bog-standard restaurant fare. The lobby feels pretty dated, and most of the retail/ restaurant space on the main floor are closed off- no vendors/kiosks or even galleries. It's all a bit dark and empty-feeling.

Pool is kid friendly with 3 slides. Food is great tho a little expensive. Hotel is huge and has friendly staff. Great experience and will go back for sure!

Pretty, spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, family friendly, but - HELLA EXPENSIVE! Even with covid, nothing is reduced or credited.

Gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous setting. Lots of trails, pathways and look out spots here. Hit the Nordic spa if you have time!

We were just at the Lodge to park and pick up a few things so we didn't stay there. The scenery itself is stunning and worthy of the 5 stars!
