I try to stop buy whenever I am in the area and I have never walked out empty handed, a real gem:)

The atmosphere is great, the staff are wonderful, +esp the owner.
I have brought a variety of things to consign and have done very well with that.
Also, my money is doubled when I do my shopping in store.

I've heard back: The owner of Kensington Konsignment has now gotten back to me to explain what has happened with the items I left for consignment. Because they are higher end items, she is putting them out on the floor more slowly. They are not unaccounted for. I am very happy with the information Kathleen has provided to me. I've always loved the store - it's well organized, the stock is of excellent quality, and it's a pleasure to shop there. Most of the world's problems can be attributed to poor communication or microbes. In this case, the misunderstanding was due to poor communication. Now that this issue has been cleared up, I'm looking forward to dealing with Kensington Konsignment now and in the future.

Total lack of integrity - I took a medium-sized moving box into Kensington Konsignment around the beginning of July. It contained many designer leather handbags (by Aimee Kestenberg, Kate Spade and Jack French London) as well as two pairs of Ferragamo loafers (size 42, one animal print and one navy, both in their original shoe bags). The young lady who took the items from me commented on the loafers and one of the handbags in particular - a royal blue structured saddlebag with a great deal of intricate leather stitching on the front by Aimee Kestenberg). I gave her the information she needed to open my consignment account and, naively, left the store without getting a receipt for the contents of the box. When I went in about two weeks ago to see what had sold, I was told I had a $5 credit on the account and that I had one item available for sale in the store. When I told the woman working in the store what I had dropped off originally, she took my name and number and said she would have the owner call me. That call has never come. If you should decide to deal with Kensington Konsignment I would strongly encourage you to get a list of what you have consigned and have it signed off by whoever is working at that time. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of integrity shown by this vendor.

I always find great stuff when I pop in here. Their 50% off room at the back is a treasure trove, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and their prices tend to be very reasonable.

I love this consignment store! One of the best in Calgary. The clothes are wonderful quality and there are always pieces I walk away with that I know I wouldn’t have found elsewhere. Not only that, but I appreciate the store owner so much. After a terrible experience at Trends with their store owner, I especially appreciate being treated with respect, dignity and kindness while shopping by the wonderful lady at Kensington Konsignment.

I love this place and shop here all the time for fancy work clothes and boho everyday clothes. Amazing selection. Awesome and helpful staff!

I love this place! Always something new to add to the wardrobe and they are always happy to take what you have gotten bored with.

The clothing available is nicer quality then your typical consignment but the pricing isn't great.

I love consigning with Kensington konsignment. The staff is always very accommodating and very polite and happy and helpful when I go in there. It’s one of the few consignment stores in Calgary that has an inviting atmosphere with looks that are always on trend.

The prices were not acceptable for second hand stuffs, most of them were available in normal shops with a little higher prices.

I had an appointment to bring items for consignment on Friday at 11: 30. When I arrived for my appointment I was surprised to find that no one had arrived to open the store for their posted business hours. At noon, an hour after the store should have been open and half an hour past my appointment, I finally left. I called and left a message about the missed appointment and four days later no one has bothered to call back to explain or apologize. Needless to say I am extremely unimpressed with the unprofessionalism of this business, the staff, and the owners.

Beautiful clean store.all cloths look bran new, really nice & unique clothing. Owners are super friendly, chill, and give great advice on what looks good. Highly recommend:) :) :)

When you walk into most second hand stores it smells like your grandmothers closet. MOTHBALLS lol.

I love this place so much! I have been consigning here for over a year and will never go anywhere else. They are SO friendly and accommodating, and everything is priced fairly. Highly recommend.

They surely carry a lot of stuff. And they have organised everything very neatly.mkst of the items are in a good quality. This is the best of its kind in Kensington. Service is friendly and polite. Their dressing rooms are very pretty. But it is all expensive for being pre loved.

I agree with Natasha's comments. The service is extremely rude & off-putting at Kensington Konsignment. I was in the store 4 times, and each time I was treated poorly. In contrast, each time I have gone to Vespucchi on Elbow Drive, I have been greeted by kind, helpful sales people. I consider Vespucchi a far superior store with regards to selection & quality (mostly high-end designer) ; yet clothes I wished to consign which were rejected by Kensington Konsignment, were happily accepted by Vespucchi and sold for good money. I can't say I've been treated worse in any store I've ever been to in Calgary than Kensington Konsignment.

Great place to consign, I especially appreciate that you are allowed to get items back if they are not suitable or if they don't sell after the designated time. Staff are always super nice and helpful. Easily the best place to consign in Kensington.
