Kepler Academy

My children have been attending Kepler Emerald Hills for the last 6 months and in that time this wonderful place has become a second home. The hardworking directors and early childhood educators truly care about the children. This facility has all the things parents like myself care about when choosing a daycare for their children.

1. Communication with the director and co-director is consistent and clear. Emails and phone calls are promptly responded to, questions answered and you will have face to face contact nearly everyday since their office is right by the entrance.
2. The educators are well trained, hold early childhood educator certifications, and there appears to be a very low turnover. We have had consistent caregivers in both rooms the entire time we've been there and a lot of the educators have been there since they opened.
3. The kids LOVE it there. My children have been going since they were 15 months and 3 1/2 years old and they truly have so much fun there as well as engage in a lot of early childhood developmental activities. I was really impressed by the creativity of the educators in the Stargazer room (for babies/toddlers under 18 months) especially. If I had kept my son at home I'd have run out of ideas at playdoh. And the built in preschool programming for children 3 and up means that as a working parent, you don't have to look for a private preschool in addition to childcare. There is definitely a good balance of education and play here.
4. Yes, THE FOOD IS WORTH THE EXTRA COST. The on site chef is amazing and prepares daily meals including hot meals at lunch and the kids get to try a variety of foods there is no way I could convince them to eat at home. The convenience alone is worth it, but I know my kids are well fed because they barely want to eat when they come home (but it might also be my cooking). Thankfully you also get access to the Kepler Dietician's resources for some inspiration at home.

This review is getting long so I'll stop here, but honestly, I would not hesitate to recommend Kepler Emerald Hills to anyone. It was especially hard for me to send my little one at 15 months but the consistency, high staff to children ratios (this is something I have consistently witnessed in the background; they ALWAYS make sure they meet the required guidelines at all times) and the amazing caregivers who treat my children like family made it so much easier for me to go back to work. Both my daughters attended Kepler Academy in Sherwood Park until August 2022. My five year old is now confident and prepared to start kindergarten thanks to the patient and skilled educators. My two year, who was born April 2020, was extremely shy and reserved thanks to Covid. The educators were so gentle and loving while she transitioned from a bubble at home to the modern and clean rooms at kepler. I loved that each room has its own bathroom, and the food is diverse and much more exciting than my kitchen. My kids have been exposed to so many new foods, new friends, new toys/crafts/lessons and a lovely natural outdoor space. Thank you Kepler for help raising my girls. We only left due to moving four hours away.

The best daycare in the area. Amazing and dedicated staff, very modern, bright and clean facility. Great educational program; wellness policy is strong there: healthy meals (onsite chef makes fresh meals daily), professional nutritionist’s workshops, outdoors daily playtime (playground is truly the best in town), yoga classes and much more! Very happy to have our daughter attending this wonderful place!

We started our kids at Kepler 2 months ago and the transition was hard as expected, but all staff were very kind, loving, and accommodating. Our toddler had never been in care before and we were struggling with lots of separation anxiety, but her teachers Navneet and Anjali have been extremely attentive, loving, creative, and understanding and she is now very well adjusted. I can see she's bonded with her teachers and they make her feel safe and welcome. Our oldest has trouble saying goodbye in the mornings and her teacher Deeksha is great at providing comfort and distraction. Venji keeps her busy and having fun all day long. Both kids always say they had a great day. Amandeep and Heather don't hesitate to provide additional support when needed. Marlene always says hello to us in the morning and makes us feel welcome! We are extremely grateful to all the staff at Kepler for their support.

Our son was enrolled at the Kepler academy at Sherwood park in March 2021. We were extremely nervous as he was one of the youngest at the academy back then. In the past few months the academy has become our son's second home. The director and the staff are amazing at this centre. They have gone above and beyond to take care of our baby and have respected all our requests and wishes every step of the way. We truly appreciate all the hard work by Amandeep and team and without doubt would recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a daycare for their children.

Kepler Academy has gone above and beyond in terms of providing a safe and caring place for our toddlers. Amandeep Bhusley, the Sherwood Park location's director, is present, kind, and acts decisively to proactively address issues. The classroom teachers are fun, patient, and actively involved with the children. The Covid measures are clearly communicated and robust, and this deliberate effort to keep Kepler families safe has gone a long way in putting our minds at ease. I would strongly recommend Kepler Academy for families looking for high-quality childcare.

Kepler Academy is a wonderful daycare. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the facilities are clean! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good daycare for their kids.

The director and the staff are extremely accommodating and professional. This is a new location so the facility is top notch. I did my research in daycares and it paid off. Kepler Academy has been such a positive experience for my family. It's one of the best decisions I made for my daughter.

Our son has been attending Kepler Academy (Sherwood Park) since November and he absolutely loves it! We like that the food is high quality and prepared by a separate chef, we like that the facility is clean and spacious and secure and we like all the feedback we get from the staff.

Best center ever! My son recently turned 1, and he’s my first baby so I was super nervous to be sending him to daycare full time. However, Kepler made the transition so wonderful. We have loved everything about the centre, especially the daily updates through the app to let us know how our child is doing, what they’ve eaten, naps etc! The girls are all wonderful and I truly feel they love their job! I am never worried and I know that my little guy loves daycare, and that they care about him, his safety, and his feelings. Keep up the great work Kepler.

I have worked at Kepler Academy Sherwood park location for a few months now. And I absolutely love it. I previously worked at a different daycare for nearly two years, when I left I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue working in childcare because I didn’t agree with many things there and was worried it would be the same elsewhere. But Kepler has brought my love and passion for teaching back! I can proudly talk about my place of work as I truly believe we are the best.
We have a great curriculum, a great team of teachers, a wonderful director and assistant director, and such great families. Not to mention the beautiful centre and maintaining a clean facility is a priority for us, daily.
I love being a Kepler educator and recommend Kepler to all families looking for a daycare, it’s definitely one you can trust.

I have worked at Kepler Emerald Hills since August in one of the Navigator rooms (preschool). I was hesitant to come back to a child care setting after covid restrictions and reopening had occurred. Kepler has created an environment so inviting and welcoming for employees as well as all the families. I have worked in child care centres before but I genuinely enjoy my experience at Kepler. It is a fun work environment.

Amandeep has been an amazing director guiding staff through these troubled times so we are able to deliver quality child care to the families and specifically the children at Kepler. The children enjoy their time at the centre and in each classroom. I truly value the relationships I’ve made within the centre with staff, families and of course the kids.

I love that diversity is celebrated throughout each holiday and different traditions are highlighted throughout the centre. I have learned so much from my coworkers that gives me new ideas to implement in future teaching.

I have been able to watch and experience this centre growing and I am proud to consider myself a Kepler employee!

This daycare is amazing. It's bright and clean with caring and attentive staff. Amandeep is very professional and kind. They serve healthy and homemade meals and snacks. They have a great variety of educational and fun toys. Their programming is well thought out and educational. The peace of mind, knowing our children are very well cared for is immeasurable. We have had bad experiences with other daycares before and Kepler Academy does everything right. I can not recommend it enough. By far the best daycare facility in Sherwood Park.

An outstanding and fresh child care experience over the past 4 months. Very clean. Educators are wonderful and attentive. I have only heard good things from people and would highly recommend to others.

Our son has been enrolled at Kepler since January 2020 and we absolutely love it. He loves going to daycare and hates leaving which for me is a wonderful feeling. My son is 3.5 and has been a stay at home kid since birth. I was very nervous bringing him into a preschool environment given his lack of socialization. I was also concerned given how new this location was. However, this facility truly is world class. The teachers take time to really understand the children. They will build and structure programs around the kids interests. They spend time during drop off and pick up to build relationships with the parents. They also have an in-house chef that cooks a variety of nutritious meals everyday. I am incredibly grateful for everyone at this location and the time and attention they give every child. In a short 3 months my son has grown and learned so much. He looks forward to going to school every day. I highly recommend Kepler Sherwood Park.

Kepler is absolutely outstanding! The days are structured and filled with various activities that are appropriate for our kids development stages. It feels so good as a parent to have our kids learn so much every day they are at Kepler!
Having two young kids, both being quite shy and quiet, we were stressed about adjusting to childcare life. Amandeep and the entire team at Kepler has been so reassuring throughout our transition. They recognize our kids needs and have helped them adapt to the new environment. Now our kids want to be at school everyday and they’ve met some really great teachers and friends!
As parents, we are SO happy we chose Kepler as our childcare. They really have thought of everything: from our kids (learning, playing, discovering, socializing), to having appropriate hours for working parents, to providing delicious meals and snacks for our little ones.

My 3.5yr old daughter started at Kepler in Emerald Hills in June of 2020. She acclimated from a small dayhome to Kepler in a very short time.

Kepler is very clean and well-run. The professionals working there always have time to discuss any concerns and how my child was that day. Their communication is wonderful! The menu is posted for everyone to see, the kids’ crafts get posted on the wall regularly and all cultural special occasions are celebrated (along with the education of their meaning).

My daughter has gone from saying “i don’t know” constantly and not playing with other kids to flourishing and has lots of friends to play with, even outside of the daycare (as covid rules allow anyway). I highly recommend Kepler; the kids always have fun, are educated and get lots of exercise and outside time. I feel like my daughter is safe there (and i’m very paranoid).

I wish I could give more than five stars! Our daughter has been at Kepler (Sherwood Park) since their first day and she loves every minute of it. The educators do a fantastic job of keeping the children occupied while gently encouraging learning both academic and social skills.

I am truly impressed with Kepler Academy Emerald Hills in Sherwood Park. Our son (4 yrs) moved from another newer child care facility in Sherwood park to Kepler at the beginning of January 2020. Since this transition he has grown emotionally and intellectual. We first noticed his whining stopped, his listening improved, he started communicating his feelings, sharing actively and energeticly about his day. We attribute these positive changes to the teachers, their control of the classroom, the scheduled learning, and focused independent attention he has been receiving. In addition with the very healthy meal plan that is freshly cooked daily and offered to our son his willingness to try new foods has increased exponentially. We have seen our son engage in his learning toys at home, creating and building, writing and drawing and wanting to learn more and asking inquisitive questions. His mood at pick up is positive and on the ride home he chats my ear off, which is a big change from his cranky and request for quite in the car when I would pick him up from the old child care facility.

The staff is amazing, they definitely enjoy what they do and care about your child's development. They communicate daily with you on your child's progress and have a posted monthly lesson plan that is updated as completed.

If you are not happy with your current care facility or want your child to receive fresh health homemade food like smoothies and tuna with avacodo sandwiches, oatmeal cookie etc or you want your child to grow interpersonal kepler is the place for you!

I give them the highest of recommendation as they have throughly impressed me and have done great for my son.

The care is second to none. The kids are having so much fun playing, and learning, we're absolutely thrilled with the standards and development. Highly recommend

I have an almost 4 years-old boy and a 1 year old baby girl and they both are going to Kepler Academy in Sherwood Park since late January. I can say hands down that this is the best decision we could possibly make for our two kids and I am beyond happy with the childcare services they provide!
The teachers are loving, caring and they do a great job communicating positively with the kids and addressing any issues they may find during the day. The early learning program that they design every month is tailored towards the kids interests and is full of educational yet fun activities for them. They even do great crafts and sensory play with the smaller babies which is not common in other daycare centers.
The quality of food is incredible. Healthy freshly cooked meals on site everyday so I know that my kids are eating well and are being offered a great variety of foods.

I have always had very high standards with the quality of food and educational program that a daycare should have but Kepler Academy in Sherwood Park has gone above and beyond my expectations.

I can not say enough amazing things about Sherwood Park Kepler Academy. Being a first time mom I had a hard time finding child care that I trusted. After visiting the first time I was in complete awe. Kepler is hands down the best child care you will get in Sherwood Park. Their food is amazing, they have a structured program, they communicate amazing, the security is top notch. My daughter tries to run back in when it's time to go home and not to mention all the little crafts that get sent home with us. Pawan is her educator and she runs to Pawan every day, they truly hand pick only the best child care givers. I wish I could give them more than a 5 star!
