Excellent produce, well priced (downright cheap!) and clean! Free parking and shopping carts. Transit close by. Sturdy and friendly employees. Good customer service chops in store. Some signage missing in produce. I always like to see the price before I buy so I would like to see that fixed. Other than that little futz, a perfect grocery store! Highly recommended!
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed with the selection of Gluten Free items. Other locations had a lot more. Friendly produce guy was very helpful getting me something I needed. Wish there was a slightly bigger selection of meat but I understand the space issue.
The lady who was working at the till closest to the frozen section at 3: 50 pm on Sunday was so incredibly rude, rolled her eyes at the people lining up by the frozen section (ironic considering I stopped using this location because last time I was yelled at for NOT lining up by the frozen section by the same woman) Will not return, you’re close and convenient but I’ll drive across Macleod to Safeway where I don’t get eyes rolled at me like bowling balls. I never write reviews but this woman has put me off TWICE.
I really like the convince of the store, but the one head cashier demands that all customers must line up before the till by the frozen food? This takes longer and it's crowded in that area as people are shopping in this section. When I tried to speak to the head cashier she was extremely rude and sarcastic. I will not be returning to this grocery store.
When NoFrills has a decent sale, don't count on finding it at Kevin's No Frills. Less than 3 hours after opening on the first day of the new flyer they already have none of the featured beef. Don't let that stop you from shopping there. The staff is top notch and the store is always clean and inviting. Just don't go there looking for the advertised sales.
Very rude staff, very bad customer services. Gathering and gossiping right beside customers. Food in this location is not as fresh as some other grocery stores.
We bought groceries here Thursday, Aug 5,2021 at 9: 30AM. The women on the till was rude and unmasked most of the employees were unmasked as well. We have shopped at this store since 2013 and usually spend 200-300 dollars per week. We won't be back. We have to protect our 9 year old.
I have been a client for almost 8 years, and only today I have a bad experience, with an anti-masker cashier and a rude supervisor. I'm not coming back. You lost a $10k a year client for not wanted to put a mask on.
Friendly Folks. Just doesn't carry a few PC products I needed so I have to go to Super Store. Kevin's feels Dark. Not sure if it needs brighter lights or lighter floors.
The existence of No Frills has got to be one of the greatest things for those that are very budget conscious, but don't want to sacrifice for quality - like what you would find at the dollar store.
There are social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe, including clearly marked one-way aisles, plastic shielding at the registers, as well as stickers placed on the floor to ensure proper distancing while waiting in line to check out.
I really like no frills stores, my main purchases are groceries, and I don't like to waste time going through other departments to get to the groceries I need so I will do all my grocery hauls at a No Frills and only if I need something specific from a different store, then I'll go. It saves me money both ways, the prices on produce are unbeatable and I don't buy stuff I don't need just because it was on display. The staff are always nice and helpful but what I like most is that they are so efficient! Cashiers are amazing.
I use to go to this store and I stopped going there when I watched some one opening bottles of olives and taking olives out with his fingers and eating it.
While small compared to other No Frills stores, Kevin and his staff go out of their way to ensure their customers have a very good shopping experience. They make sure customers never wait very long to check out. If they do not have an advertised item they are quick to find out when the next shipment will arrive. On the down side is that they are small and have limited numbers of items in stock. Their staff are a delight to deal with and make you feel you are a valued customer.
Why are they charging for bags during the pandemic. Do they really want people to bring in their own cloth bags thus potentially contaminating the store. That will cost him big if they close to sanitize.
Timothy coffee on sale in their flyer May 10, but they don't even regularly stock it. Why bother. Will be phoning head office.
Very SLOW Customer service (I had to wait almost 20 minutes for a refund; the manager NEVER showed even showed up). I cringe every time I come into this store: THIS is the store that sold the woman a bag of salad WITH A DEAD MOUSE last fall. Yikes! Even though we live within 2 blocks, this WAS our last time there.
I have never been so humiliated and discriminated in my life as much as I was treated here.so hurtful and I have vowed never to this particular location even if it's the last place on earth.
Handy location to grab something quick but prices fluctuate weekly, most of the cashiers would rather be somewhere else as they are extremely rude.there are a couple of good ones though.
This place is great, it has the best prices on pretty much everything. The selection isn't the greatest, but the stuff they do have does the trick and is an amazing deal.
Great location, great prices, small store with all the stuff like the big stores. I have met the owner several times, very polite very cordial, usually the staff at the tills are very polite and quick to bring you through. Sometimes there are long lines at the tills, and Beware of the parking lot, people in this geographic location tend to be bad drivers, (I've lived here for 20 years I can say that with confidence) Park a little further away to be safe
Good prices and friendly efficient staff. I was at Safeway and smaller cucumbers were $3 each. Here they were $1.44. Their meat specials were great. Parking was easy. I am so glad we have an inner city grocery store that doesn't rip people off with high prices.
When everything aligns (ie.the product I need is in stock and there are sufficient cashiers) this No Frills is perfect, 5 stars. The employees running the tills are very good - friendly and efficient. The staff stocking merch on the floor are fast and quick to move out of customers' way while also being available to answer questions if needed. Usually a very positive retail experience!
Similar prices as Superstore (both Loblaws corporation), cash or debit only. Superstore as it has much more selection and many more items on sale. This store doesn't really pass on the saving of the "no frills" concept. The staff are friendly, but equally difficult to find as Superstore.
Fantastic price I just wish there were more No Frills where I live. Because of the prices I guess that's why they are so far from anywhere I go on a regular basis.
I'm a regular customer I love the store, the staff are friendly except for today the 6th July the girl at cashier number 1 at 2: 10 pm she had a horrible attitude and plus she mixed our stuff with the other customer that came after the reason I mentioned this comment is that I really loved this store and would always love to see it successful as it should be
The prices no different than most stores, without the frills. I'll gladly pay for the frills and selection. Most of the cashiers are friendly and polite, but I continually have problems with Laurene. She can't multi task, and is rude. I stand there, while she has a 5 minute conversation about canned tomatoes with someone who is not even purchasing anything, and I stand there and wait. She can't scan and talk at the same time, then she calls me rude! Why does she continue to work there, or anywhere for that matter? Guess they are desperate.
