Khrome Nail Bar

Don’t go to Diana. She will add extra charges for services she didn’t do. I was charged for the luxury manicure but no hand wax that’s part of the service was done. I asked for a colour change. On the website it’s $30+ tax but cuz I get chrome it’s another $10 that’s fine. But then charging me another $30 just cuz you trimmed my cuticles? Is it really $30 for just a cuticle clean up?

Saw Daniel for nails. He's been recommended to me by a few girls. I was not disappointed. My nails are 4 weeks old and still look perfect. Normally after 3 weeks my nails look blah and I can't wait to get them re-done. I can honestly say I've never liked a set of nails so much that I'm sad to part with the ones I have now. But I know when he does my fill next week I will fall in love with my new set. And hey if you love em just get them again lol

There was 3 of us friends getting our mani/pedis done together. The customer service was lacking. The 3 techs barely talked to us and were very antisocial. It was a very hostile environment and we all felt a bit uncomfortable. My tech specifically was rude and kept rolling her eyes at me many times throughout the service. I thought maybe I was the one who was thinking this but when we left my friends all felt the same way I did. Stay away!

I recently went for a nail appointment to get my bridal nails done for my wedding. While the quality of work was fine. I found the service to be ver poor and staff ill tempered. I never get my nails done because of work, so this was a special treat. I requested a small design done on my nails and I had wanted my manicure and pedicure to match. I sent a photo ahead to ensure they could complete the design, which I was assured it would be. I chose a colour and realized I didn’t like it after he put on one nail, and requested to try a different colour. I felt they became very short tempered with me. When I requested that they match the design completed on my manicure to my pedicure. They refused stating there was not enough time. Which I would have understood. Except he spent 20 mins from my appointment answering phone calls, and was doing a colleagues nails when my pedicure was being done. We were told we would have 2 technicians helping us with our pedicures, but instead it all was left to one technician. Which she was very quiet but I felt very bad for her.

In the end I left in tears. I felt the staff were not interested in helping us. And annoyed with our presence. When we entered they didn't even greet us, they just told us to sit down. We were never offered any beverages, it was a morning appointment so we did not expect any alcoholic drinks, but even a glass of water would have been appreciated. Truly the worst nail experience I’ve ever had.

Shes definitely talented and I would recommend.

Sore cut on six nails after the mani, two nails were bleeding bad. The tech kept a straight face didn’t bother to apologize even once. Forget about being apologetic no courtesy to ask if it hurts or is it feeling better. As if the cuts are part of the mani. I guess the cuticle cream they applied gave unbearable burning sensation under the light. And at the end they they ask how much are you paying for tips. It will be better if you give friendly and good service and then ask for a tip.

My wife really likes this place. They do an swesome job everytime and she never complains about their service

I love Khrome nail bar! I’ve been going here for over a year now and my nails are always perfect. Jennie is my nail tech and she’s so great with shorter nails. My nails always last 4 weeks and they always look so pretty. Thank you Jennie!

I've been going to Khrome regularly for about 8 months, and I have always had a great experience there. The techs are welcoming and so sweet, and Effie is a nail WIZARD.

I came to Khrome after my nail beds were burned by a tech at another salon while removing my gel polish. Effie has been so patient and careful to ensure my nails are protected, she essentially nursed my nails back to health. And she did a killer job on my wedding nails in July! I highly recommend snagging an appointment with her.

Honestly although this place serves you a cocktail while getting your nails done, its over priced and quality is garbage not even a week with a fresh set of gel nails and 2 of them fell off. Definetly not worth it!

My friend went in to get a gel nail fill before her wedding and she was extremely unhappy with her experience. Her tech barely spoke to her, and when she asked him to change the shape of her nails he ignored her request and she had to file them herself at home before her ceremony. She is not confrontational and was too nervous to reach out afterwards, but I don't think she should have been disappointed with her nails and have to re-do them at home after spending $100. Not the best bridal experience for her, quite disappointed because she liked the tech's work on social media.

I went there to fix a Mami and pedi from a different salon and Alya was AMAZING! I will 100% come back. My nails look fantastic.

I have been going to Khrome since it opened. Their service is inconsistent at best. I kept going because of the location and the staff was nice. In the last year things have gone downhill. The last three times I’ve gone I had the same guy do my nails. He was so incredibly rude that one of the people on staff had to apologize for his behaviour on his behalf. He doesn’t talk or provide answers to questions. I asked him about trends and he said “SIGH…. I don’t know” then I asked for a drink and he ignored me. Finally one of the other staffers came by and I was able able to order drinks for me and my friends. Then he yelled at me to “STOP MOVING” and my friend was watching and said I didn’t even move. I get that being still is important but you don’t speak to customers in that tone. I couldn’t wait to get outa there, the complete opposite reaction you want. I thought maybe it was an off day, we all have them. Then the other two times I had him it was the exact same experience. My expectation at a nail salon is for them to greet me with a hello, offer advice on nail trends and kindness. That isn’t what happened all three times.

Booking nightmare:
My last two appointments were cancelled last minute due to covid. Which was fine but then my replacement appointment went missing in their calendar. They offered a discount which was nice but booking can be a nightmare. I ended up waiting months to get in. Such a headache.

Nail quality:
I have had to get my nails fixed twice since I started going. Once the pedicure i received didn’t set properly and the gel smudged on the way home. It took them weeks to respond to my emails and pictures showing the problems. The second time I had a nail break 15 minutes after my appointment. It wasn’t put on correctly and again took weeks to book in an appointment to fix it. When they finally did fix it, it didn’t match the other nails.

After all that I kept going because I felt like everyone had bad days. Recently going and receiving the rude service was the last straw. You pay a premium for customer service. When you don’t receive that it’s not worth the time or money. Now I am moving on, please think twice before booking here.

Once again Khrome Nail Bar has exceeded my expectations from the warm greeting as you enter the spotless establishment to the delicious Orange Sunset made to perfection.

The bonus always is the awesome manicure and being made to feel like family!

My husband and I went to get a pedicure together and we usually go to a different place but they were all booked up so we decided to try Khrome Nail Bar. The place was very nice looking, clean and the girls who did our pedicure's were very friendly. Although we didn't have a bad experience.as we left the nail bar and really looked at our feet throughout the day we felt as though we never even got pedicures. Definitely not worth the $100 plus tip.

My favorite nail salon in Edmonton! Staff are the nicest and welcoming. The vibe of the salon is relaxing too. Keep it up Khrome!

I came here as a walk in few times, I was lucky enough to get in without any appointments, the place is clean, and design is pretty, the service is great. However, the quality of the nails do not last, and I don't like the hidden fees, I wish they can inform me on extra charges.

Is this the best nail bar? ! Oh yes, it is. This nail bar not only provides the best service but also the good drinks yum. As from regular customer's experience i am reviewing this, my recent visit to khrome was on June 23rd at 3.30PM for pedicure, the service it was 60 minutes long, as they did proper measures for customer's health and their staff's health due to the Corona virus deserved the big round of applause. Thank you so much guys for that. Then moving to the service, so my feet needed a help after the lockdown and they got helped by a very sweet, kind and polite nail expert and her name is Jade oh my God, she is such a kind soul.and how can forget about the best conversation we had for 60 minutes (i switched my phone off cuz i want anything that interrupts the conversation we had). We talked and laughed during this whole fun time around 4 p.m it was raining outside and it was sounding that the mother nature was also enjoying with us.however, the ladies around the bar (others customer) were sharing their life experiences to each other even if they don't know each other but still it seems like butterflies were enjoying the life and of course i don't wanna to leave the place, those moments are so precious that even my words can't explain, as from my side i was living the whole Sarah Jessica parker 's character Carrie from sex and city. The environment the whole vibes will allow you to disconnect from the stress and issues of the life.sort of live the moment of your own fantasy land. Escape from all the cruelty.just talk and relax.this one is for khrome and Jade for being really really warm to us.

The best service spot, splendid staff and vibes.

I booked my appointment for a pedicure for 2 people and no technician was available. One technician did both myself and my friends feet at the same time. The duration of the pedicure was very short and did not make a difference in my feet. Everything felt very rushed and I was disappointed. There was a male technician that was also not very friendly.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the decor was well done and there was one technician that was friendly and pleasant.

I would not return or recommend.

Today was my first time here. I absolutely loved the service. Daniel did my nails and he was extremely professional. I would highly recommend this place.

The ladies at the salon were super inviting and friendly. But when it comes to actual skills of the estheticians, they were lacking. I came here with a group of 6 girls for pedicures and left disappointed. The girls did not properly scrub our feet and get rid of the dead skin. Not to mention, some of us did not even get a top coat on our polish.
We were left waiting for an hour with no dry spray, or feet dryers. Which then caused our nails to be smudged by the time we were home. I reached out to the manager and she invited us back for a free nail polish change, but it's honestly not worth it. We paid $70 for a regular polish pedicure, plus paid extra for the removal of gel polish. I have never been charged for the removal of gel before.
You are honestly better off going to a different salon.

The best nail bar in the city. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and will never look back. The atmosphere and professionalism is unmatched and the Khrome team really make you feel so welcome. The claws are always perfect when you leave, and they serve drinks! Personally, I see Tara for my pedicures & get compliments on them through the year. She always makes sure I leave happy and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else

I love Khrome Nail Bar! I visited for one of my besties birthdays, we were a party of 6 and had a reservation at another spa, the original spa ended up cancelling our reservation last minute which left us scrambling. Khrome saved the day by accommodating all 6 of us for last minute pedicures on a Saturday - something I didn’t think would be possible. The first spa cancelling turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got to experience Khrome. It is absolutely beautiful inside, very clean, and the staff are welcoming and talented. There is the option to order DRINKS! As well as the option to add paraffin. Seriously, how cool! I got a gel pedicure, that I’m still loving 2 weeks later. I also bought some beautiful accessories at the front. The entire salon is a photo op. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Khrome. I told my sister how great it was and now she’s booked in for this weekend, can’t wait to go back.

Today was my first time at the bar. I came in last minute as a walk in and Effie (not sure on spelling sorry) was able to squeeze me in. I showed her a design I was hoping to get and she delivered! She was attentive, professional, friendly and the nails look so nice!

I had a wonderful first experience at Khrome and will definitely be going back! I had to get a set of acrylic nails taken off and it was by far the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had with nail removal. They take the time to reduce the damage on your nails and I never once felt any pain. I also got a basic manicure just to clean up my nails and they look better than I could have ever imagined. The nail salon itself is super clean, modern and warm.

Inconsistent is the best word I can use to describe Khrome.
I had been seeing a tech here for about 6 months, consistently every 4 weeks, who as of recently, no longer works at Khrome. Her work was bang on. No issues with breaking or lifting, great shaping, she was a wonderful and sweet girl. I kept going to her for these reasons. I was very happy with the nails and service I was getting.

I had a fill booked December 10 at 12: 00. I was called the night before my appointment but no message was left, so I was assuming they maybe started confirmation calls (which would be great for them to start doing - the only “reminder” you get is a text when you book). When I showed up, they seemed like they didn’t have my appointment in the system. Once my client file was looked up, my appointment showed up and it was with the tech who was no longer working there and that was when they let me know. My appointment was essentially ignored. No accommodation was made before I showed up to ensure that I would be taken care of. The owner had apologized and called another tech who was willing to come in to fit me in closer to 12: 30. Which was fine with me - I did really appreciate her going out of her way to accommodate me. I was assuming from here out, I would have my nails filled and everything would be fine.

The tech who came in was obviously really upset the whole time with having to come in to do my nails. She kept talking to the tech beside her (right in front of me) about how her 2: 00 appointment being moved to 2: 30 because she had to come in and do my nails. Completely rude and unprofessional. More interested in that than ensuring I had a quality service apparently. With her attitude and how she was speaking with her coworker made me so uncomfortable. When we started I showed her a photo of what I was hoping for (red with one gold accent nail and one nude accent nail. The nude accent nail had 3 gold gems on it) - which she told me was no problem. I had issues finding a particular colour and she wouldn’t really help me find that colour so I settled for something I didn’t love out of just feeling uncomfortable and like I was being too picky. Once she had applied the colour, she then told me she didn’t have the gold gems for my nails. That wouldn’t have been a problem if it was communicated at the beginning of the service.

The end product of the nails was really upsetting for me. I didn’t want to say anything since I was already uncomfortable and had felt like I caused problems. The nails were uneven, thick and chunky, a spot on my thumb didn’t have top coat on it, the tips were not painted or really finished at all so they were rough and sharp. About 6 hours later the polish started to want to peel off on my thumb.

The next morning I had emailed them to let them know about what happened, and I had a free fix on the nails with a different tech. I appreciated this a lot and everything seemed to be taken care of. We switched them up a little since my initial idea was not able to happen and I was happy with that. It went well and I liked the look of my nails afterwards. The tech who fixed my nails was lovely. She clearly cares and was happy to be there. They looked and felt a lot better. It’s been 2 days since this fix and I’ve already had my nail break though. At this point I’m just embarrassed to go back or email or call again because of all of these issues.

I don’t know if it’s bad luck or what’s going on, but no one should need to make multiple trips to the salon to get their nails fixed and cared for in a span of a week and a bit because of low quality nails at a high price point. I get minor fixes happen, but between basically having to redo my nails, the break on the redo, the customer care/service and how uncomfortable the initial tech made me on December 10th, I’m pretty disappointed to say the least.

Great place, fun atmosphere. Owners were amazing. I went with my wife and we were blown away with the service we received. Keep up the good work Khrome team

The ladies at Khrome have GOT YOU COVERED! I recently got a pedicure & it was so wonderful, relaxing, and the esthetician was so detail orientated! I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out - I mean who doesn't love having a pretty drink while treating yourself?

Khrome nail bar and lounge is hands down the best of the best here in Edmonton. As soon as you step foot into this beautiful place you are greeted ever so friendly by the amazing and beautiful staff, which made me feel welcome instantly. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing and you fall in love with every detail of it. The service was absolutely impeccable, you can tell the staff are truly passionate about what they do and make sure you are absolutely satisfied with their work. The owners and whole management team have done an outstanding job in making sure everything is running smoothly. Good job ladies and keep up the fabulous job. If you are in search for a clean, professional & friendly nail bar then do yourself a favour and book your appointment ASAP with them because you will be left nothing short of an amazing experience. Ps - the cocktails are also a bonus!

So I got my nails done here, I was super happy & satisfied when I left the salon but in less than a week my nails came off, it felt like those nails you buy from Walmart and just glue them on lol, I paid at least $130 for them & my mimosa was probably $9 & I tipped Effie %15 so all together I paid $160 in store, that’s way too much money for my nails to come off just days later & I wasn’t even doing anything crazy with my hands for them to fall off like that, I would love to give Khrome another try but I don’t know‍️

First time at this nail bar and I was blown away by the professionalism and the way I was made to feel luxurious and at home.

Edmonton, if you are not using these services, you are missing out!
