We reserved a pet-friendly spot, nice and clean. The staff also offered our boys a sleeping bed. Nice gesture our boys Sydney and Berlin loved it, and thank you for your thoughtfulness. Parking can be tricky when you are travelling with cats. It's on the opposite side of the hotel and the second level is free. Our experience was terrific!

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this place. We booked it some what last minute and all for the cost. But from arrival we were very impressed with it. We have the twin room which is very small but also very cute. The beds are really comfy. Everything is well maintained and clean. The one draw back is since it is right on banffs main road it is very load. Time to buy ear plugs for the rest of the stay. It is a place I would stay again though.

The only thing it has is the location. It is not comfortable, there is no light, it is not very functional, it is dark, there was a smell of missing carpet.

WORST HOTEL EVER!
Would LOVE to give it a BIG FAT zero but I can’t…ugh
My friend and I stayed there for 3 night and it was a little over 1000$. An absolute nightmare! Not at all worth the price point.
•It is nowhere advertised that there’s NO AC. You only find out on arrival.
•Ceiling fan light turns on and off on its own!?
•advertised there is Netflix…WRONG! It’s not even added to the TV and no one knows the Pin. So good luck haha
My friend and I were trying to give it a chance but it was hard to when nothing went right.

The good:
Great location, right in the heart of Banff, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a decent size.
The bad:
The biggest issue by a mile is the heat in the room we had, we were on floor 3 overlooking the street and the heat hits you as soon as you get out of the lift, there is no AC and you get one tiny fan, the weather at night was getting below freezing outside however the room was always too hot. If you're thinking of staying here in the summer avoid at all costs it would be unbearable, there must be something fundamentally wrong with the building for it to be that warm.
Additionally because of the heat you have to have the window open all night, which is very noisy as you're right over bars and restaurants and hear the buses from 6.30am.
Also the rooms are only partially serviced, they change the bins but never make the bed for some reason.
Lastly the TV had no channels at all, and no Netflix or anything so was useless.
Overall it's not a terrible hotel but it's very expensive for what you get. If it had been summer the heat would be impossible to cope with.

It was the cheapest hotel on the booking site, but the reception staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. A coffee maker and refrigerator are also provided in the room. It is convenient because it faces the main street.

I would highly advise against staying here. We arrived at the hotel during a heat wave to a printed sign on the door saying that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. We thoroughly checked the website and reservation confirmation email to see if we missed this somewhere but it is not listed. We had a horrible sleep at night, couldn’t open windows because it is on a noisy street and the fans just blew hot dry air around the room. We waited 6 hours to speak with the manager. He finally met with us at 11pm at night and told us to find somewhere else to stay and that there would be no refund. The owner is a fraudulent man and admitted to us that his website is misleading on purpose to take advantage of tourists. My partner and I had constant nose bleeds because the room was so hot and dry. I asked the manager if he thinks it is appropriate for people with health concerns to not be informed of a lack of air conditioning during a heat wave and he did not show any empathy. The manager Simon does not care if you are uncomfortable in the hotel even though their website states rooms are cool, comfortable and provide every “modern amenity”. Manager came off as a liar, stay away and spend your money some place else.
