We just left the Koodo store at Market Mall and are very happy with our experience with Slavi. We were shopping for a new phone and he was SO helpful. He immediately jumped in to help, listened to our needs, and went above and beyond to provide additional information about the phones and services. He was super attentive to the extent that, while he was chatting with my partner, he noticed me cleaning my phone and immediately handed me cleaner and a cloth. He was so kind and pleasant to deal with. Give this man a raise!:).

Had a pleasant experience here today. I was greeted right away and the process of switching over to Koodo from my previous service provider was very smooth. The customer service was thorough, patient and friendly. I would recommend seeing Slavi, he was very professional and knowledgeable!

I want to put a 0 star because I have experienced huge problems with koodo and telus together.

Problems like number porting, charging my bank account wrongly and utter inability to get those problems solved despite multiple attempts and calls, costing me at least 10 hours.

I'm giving an okay review only because of Armen. He went above and beyond to try and help me. He deserves a 5 star.

I want to help anybody who can help me. Will update if solved.

I came to Koodo from Telus for their black friday sales. After signing up, the store employee who signed me up didn't confirm the information he entered with me- and as such entered my phone number incorrectly for the number port. The store won't rectify this mistake, and I've since spent 4 1/2 hours (No exaggeration) on the phone over 3 calls trying to rectify this. Hands down the worst experience I've had with a cell phone company, and I'm not even on their network yet

I had a great experience, shopped around for phone deals and Koodo offered me the best. Slavi was very friendly and funny, provided great customer service with different options.

Exceptional service. I couldn't be happier with how everyone at the store helped me out going beyond my expectations. A special thanks to Sloir and Aklan. I received a really good promotional deal by phone with Koodo which I had accepted, but I needed the phone and sim card by the end of the week since I was travelling next week. The ETA was to arrive during the week, which it did, but I was scared it wouldn't, so I went to the store to see what they could help me with and they got it all sorted out for me.

I was told that they couldn’t work on my account because my license was expired. I went to Telus and it wasn’t a problem. Maybe streamline the rules since they are owned by the same company.

Recently went in with my wife to get new phones and plans - Slavi was very helpful in this process. Based on the plan we were getting, we ended up being switched over to Telus, but everything was set up for us from the Koodo shop.

Avoid koodo with ever fiber of your being. Have a problem.forget about anyone helping. There is no way you can phone a rep. They will call you back at their convenience. Issue after issue.stay far away

Worst Koodo store in Calgary. I took a phone and they made a mistake with the Adds on. I had to pay a penalty for that. Went to the store to log a complaint but they refused to hear me let alone give me their manager's phone number. If the main Koodo company see this medsage I'd be glad if they contact me. However, I solved everything through online support. These guys know nothing.

I'm seeing a lot of reviews about Elliot (the store manager) and I wish I had read them before going there. Went in for help and he was totally unprofessional and rude and completely ruined my mom's day. We immediately switched to Freedom and will never come back to Koodo again. Im so surprised that koodo hired such an unprofessional person as a Manager. It was a very simple request and Elliot outright to our face refused to help us. Complete lack of customer service.

Great location with helpful staff always willing to go out of their way to make any visits the best! I have been helped by Ashley, Tate, and Elliott multiple times and have never had less than a perfect experience! Was a bit taken aback by the unprofessional conduct provided by staff. Specifically member Elliott. Wasng welcomed into the store and talked in the entrance. Asked for him to clarify and he said "I already told you this". Is this how you speak with clients? Can't see myself continuing with this business

The service at this store was exceptional. The staff and managers were knowledgeable and helped me deal with Samsung to replace my phone screen under warranty. You couldn't get better customer service.

My mother in law recently upgraded her phone and she was having issues with her new phone just randomly disconnecting from wifi. So she went in to this koodo to get an exchange and instead of doing there job they told her to let it fix itself. She then did that but then the issue happened again and when she went back they told her she was outside of the exchange period. Maybe they should hire competent sales rep who know how to do there job

I have been a customer of Koodo for well over 5 years. And now theyre charges are just way overboard. Leaving now because I literally get no loyalty deals or anything. It's lame.

KOODO is must AVOID, no customer service (they could only call you back), poor reception. I was using TELUS before and trying to bring down the cost and switched to KOODO and that was the worse decision I ever made. NO is NO plz I warned you no more KOODO

I’ve called two times to get an update on my phone order, as their tracking on their website does not work, only for webstore. The guys who helped me in store were great.

Anyways, those two times I’ve called a girl answered and Im pretty sure it was her who answered again, looks like she’s in a rush and doesn’t seem professionally motivated to give info to their customers. I’ve asked koodo community on what to do as I have no way of tracking my order so most people said to call the store I ordered in. Called them, it was useless.

Came here asking about the moto one hyper, asian customer service dude with the glasses answered my questions like he is a Wall Street broker or something. Bad attitude.
Customer service isn't easy, but having an attitude like that?
Act accordingly! You're getting paid to answer my questions, so in a way I am your boss and your store lost like 550$, i know i am a Rockefeller

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They answer all my questions honestly and to the best of their abilities. The staff member I dealt with today was super helpful, volunteering insights to assist me with my phone choice decisions.

I had a really kind gentleman help me with possibly getting an extra phone. He wasn't to familiar with android and asked one of his colleagues to help him. When he did asked she was just sitting there and she says um I'm actually busy at the moment in a snotty way and then helped me anyway but I was hesitant and felt a tad flustered. Unfortunately I was it happy with this location, this time around.

I just have to say how absolutely amazed I am everytime I have been to the Koodo Mobile store in Market Mall! I was served by Ashley on 2 different occasions and she is absolutely amazing! I can't thank her and Elliot enough for all their kindness and help with my phone! I will be recommending everyone I can to come in and see them both!

Awful customer service at this Koodo store location but the staff "working" there obviously don't care, they would rather just play games, or whatever it is they are doing, on their own phones rather than do their jobs

I give a one for the girl who was being trained. Unfortunately, the girl that was training her had no skills in customer service. The trainee was about to perform the sales transaction and the trainer said, "We need to do the other phone first. " No one else was in the store. It's too bad, but it worked out well for me. Walked down the mall and the WOW Mobile Boutique sold me the phone and did everything necessary for me to transfer my data, etc. I would have happily waited at the Koodo Store, but the "trainer" was already so snippy, I did not want to spend my money there, at all.

Our introduction to koodo at the Market Mall location was an enjoyable experience. We were served by an articulate, knowledgeable and pleasant young sales agent named Faunzia (may not be correct spelling, apologies) who explained the process, answered our questions and
ported our phones over in very short time without any problems. Going to a prepaid plan from our Telus Business plan cut our cell phone expenses by more than half. Not only that.koodo is the only plan I know of that allows you to roll-over your unused credits at the end of the month instead of flushing them and making you buy more. Thanks koodo!

To be direct Arika and her colleagues are useless. I had lost my phone and received a new one. I couldn't activate the SIM because I couldn't make a call. I went to the shop for assistance. They couldn't activate the SIM because my phone was under my wife's name. Still no suggestions!
I decided to cancel my service with Koodo and left the phone at the shop.
Later, Koodo called my wife and the CSR told her I had an attitude problem and needed to come back to pick up my phone. The staff that evening were unprofessional, condescending, and useless.

I just saved 60% on my cell plan, by moving from Telus to Koodo.funny enough Koodo is part of Telus! I have an older but great cell phone and I don't need a new one. All I needed was a reasonably priced plan, and I found one at Koodo. The service I got from James was great, explained all the different plans, set up my new account, ported my phone over. It was all pretty painless. I've read the other reviews, a lot of beefs about service. I think the issue is that is it understaffed, the place is very busy and there just isn't enough staff to handle everybody all at once. So don't blame the service on the staff, they work hard and are busy. Any way.they worked hard for me and I'm happy with what I got and who I got it from. Market Mall has loads of places to shop and browse around, so if you go and Koodo looks busy, walk around a bit and come back. For a little waiting time you will save a ton of money in the long run.

The services I received from the staff at this location was unsatisfactory. I asked a sales associate at the front desk about unlocking the phone, she simply told me to call Koodo and let them unlock it. It was extremely frustrating as the phone not needed only the unlock code, it was permanently locked and seemed difficult to fix. I explained the situation to the sales associate, but she seemed indifferent and annoyed as she kept on telling me to call Koodo. I wonder how on earth customers deserve to receive this sort of lousy service when we pay at least 45 dollars phone bill per month to feed them. Moreover, I saw that associate was playing on the phone and giggling with other staff when I was calling Koodo and watching them at a distance. In conclusion, the staff at this location is unprofessional and unwilling to help. They could've explained why they weren't able to fix the issues in store and walked me through the unlocking process; being put on the phone line for over an hour only to unlock the phone is unpleasant.
