Dishonest quote and hidden fees.
When I called for a quote the owner answered and quoted me $150 for the whole job, I didn't even need to wash my car they said.
But when I arrived with a freshly washed car for my appointment suddenly they offered to remove salt for a $60 fee (if you leave salt on it would seemingly defeat the purpose of applying rust protection. Unfortunately traces of salt remained after the car wash, so I needed to pay the salt removal fee).
Then the owner refused to remove the plastic panels on the undercarriage (which covers about half of my newer vehicle and the metal needing rust proofing) unless I paid an hour of labour at $105/hour.
So be aware that your price may double just to get your undercarriage done properly.
When I politely brought to their attention that their quote was not honest and did not mention these hidden fees, they got defensive and blamed me for 'choosing' to get these things done. They struggled to understand how their behavior could be seen as unethical or dishonest.

Very pleased with the service I received at Krown. Have a new vehicle, didn’t want the rust to happen in the wheel wells and elsewhere as it did with my previous vehicle. Heard about Krown on the radio. Found this family run operation in the NE part of Calgary who has the Krown franchise. They were very professional, caring and punctual. Had been quoted 1-1.5 hrs and it was basically that. They kept me abreast of time and what was happening to the car and made sure that all was good. If you’re looking to rustproof your car I highly recommend this place plus the cost was very reasonable. Thanks

Great and friendly business, and they even made time for a Krown Rust service in between their other appointments when I was unable to book an appointment in advance. Very nice people!

I was pleasantly surprised how thoroughly they applied the Krown rust proofing. Been using Krown in Ontario for years, but this Calgary location is the best so far!

Not only did this place deliver what it’s expected to, it’s a family run business that cares. So when I showed up with my kids, they offered to put on TV and everything was done very nicely!

Great place to get your vehicle rust proof. I’v been using them for over 5 years! They are very customer focused, and do a good job. It’s a family own business that take pride in making sure their customers are satisfied.

Took a month to get in, but that’s my fault. Service was prompt and courteous. Only took an hour and 15 mins. Very pleased with service. First time using krown so it will be interesting to see how it holds up with going down the deer everyday. Have used Rust Check in the past but was way more expensive and service was lacking.
