My husband and I met with Josh Wilson in December we had a lot of questions about Solar. He was very helpful in explaining how solar works and Canadian government grants and interest free loan programs. After all our questions were answered to our satisfaction we decided to proceed. There was never any sales pressure. We would highly recommend Josh Wilson and this Canadian Company to anyone who is looking into Solar as he will take the time to answer all your questions

We were contacted by Kuby by door to door sales. They sat down with us and went through our power bills for the previous year and were able to show us our expected ROI within minutes. We were in the No-Brainer category for solar. The communication from management on the progress of 1) What the project steps were 2) Where we were in the project and 3) What we needed to do, was exceptional. They really guided us through all the steps, which there are many; such as getting the micro-generation, electrical certification, Canadian Greener homes grant, energy audits. It was so easy because they were organizing and guiding us on what we had to do. Anyone can do this with no research about the steps because Kuby takes care of the details.
I will be recommending this company to my friends and family.

We had a 5.5kW system installed with Kuby at the beginning of August. We chose them on the recommendation of friends and due to their good reviews, despite their quote being slightly higher than other companies we were considering.

We are happy with our system and now have it powered on, but there were two issues that lowered our rating.

First, we were hoping to participate in the Edmonton Solar Rebate program. While it's obviously not Kuby's fault that the program became fully subscribed, we were aware that the rebate program was quickly filling up and asked if it would be possible to submit the application as homeowners. Kuby assured us that they would handle the application on their end and that we had ample time to get into the program. Unfortunately, this proved to be untrue and our application was submitted too late to get in.

Secondly, our installation did not pass the initial electrical inspection. The delay caused by the initial failure meant that we missed almost a full month of solar while awaiting the second inspection. The inspection also required one of us to be home for the entire day, which added to the hassle. We were not offered any consideration for the delay and inconvenience caused by the failed inspection.

The company has been professional and pleasant throughout, but the current Google rating is higher than what our experience would warrant.

Our 10.01KW, 22 panel system is now installed and working well. We started talking to Kuby in April and after giving them our deposit were told the install would be August or September/2023. Sure enough, Aug 24th was the install date and they finished in record time at 1pm on Aug th 25th, with the assistance of a second team helping them on day 2. The wait for the inspections and bi-directional meter install by Fortis was all as advised by Kuby. They know how long things take! They also take care of all the licensing, permits and contracts that are needed. All is advised ahead of time and followed up on.
So from start to finish, they were polite and responsive and very knowledgeable with all issues we raised.
I would like to thank again the installation team for a great job. They clean up after themselves each day and the lead even rewrote the right side electrical panel description for the breakers since he thought the original writing was not clear enough.

I do not hesitate in recommending this company if you want a first class solar power system installed. Thank you Management and Staff.

Logan and his team have been absolutely incredible! The team was super friendly. They let our dogs out when they had to come inside to do work. They sent us pictures and videos of their progress when we were at work.

They completed the job in 3 days. Logan made a special trip after a job on day 4 to train us on the app.

I HIGHLY recommend this crew. We are super happy!

The Kuby team has been awesome right from the starting to the end! For every question I had, they were able to answer and more.
It was a smooth process but then got bit delayed because of winters but In spring starting the first thing they came and did the installation.

Kuby has been great to work with. The workmanship appears to be of excellent quality. Their staff were polite and professional during the installation process. What I really appreciated about Kuby and their management was a month after they were paid in full, when I had trouble with Fortis getting the microgen agreement recognized, Kuby was highly responsive and helpful in helping me resolve those difficulties so I could get hooked up to the grid. My experience with some contractors is they are responsive before getting paid, but once they have your money, they seem to have little time foir you if you encounter difficulties related to their work later on. Gratefully for me, as I was not making much progress with Fortis on my own, when I let Kuby know I was having trouble with Fortis connecting me to the grid they really went out of their way to reach out to Fortis and help me. For this they deserve 5 stars and a strong recommendation.

I chose Kuby Energy for 10.35 kW solar panel installation. The price is reasonable compared to other providers and they told me about the federal rebates that another provider failed to mention.

I hired Kuby Energy to install a 20k watt solar array with a dual Tesla powerwall 2 system at my home. Jake and Adam were great to deal with jumping through the inspectors hoops and bringing them up to speed with the complexity of the system installed. I would recommend them to any one looking for a large solar installation with state of the art back up power.
