Scammers, they care about money and now I can’t take my x-rays unless I pay them more money. Stay away from this clinic. I will report police to get my x-ray, this is completely illegal.

Very over priced. High pressure
$38,000 for only the top implants and I already have one implant in my mouth.
They wouldn’t release my X-rays to my new Dentist without paying another $200.00. I’m not going to give him any more of my money.

Avoid at all costs. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and demeaning to staff. Overly expensive too. My benefits company refused to pay my claim as they deemed what he billed me to be mostly unnecessary (which I didn’t know was going to happen as they refuse to put through predeterminations). Don’t make my mistake!

I had a very bad experience this morning when I called for a consultation. When I asked why they wanted to charge $585 dollars for the initial consultation when other offices are giving them for free the reply was a rude. "Because he has 43 years experience " So I was like ok I guess you're not getting a very informed consult if you're not paying for it. And so I said ok go ahead and book it because my tooth needs to be taken care of right away. Then she told me there was a $200 fee in addition to that which would later be applied to your treatment. So then I decided to call the office who did my other implant for me and they were very direct, gave me a cost if there were no complications and werevery clear and upfront about what had to happen. So I called to cancel. They said fine, but it was still going to cost me the $200 since it turns out it's nonrefundable. They were pressuring me to stay on with them. Since I have an extreme dislike for this kind of shadiness I told them fine whatever keep it. Then I asked for a ballpark cost. The reply was, "We don't do that. Everyone is different. "Since I had just obtained one from the other place I knew for sure it was a lie. I'm sure you would get good results from them at an unnecessarily high cost with their greedy and unethical practices.

Very good service and work quality. Pricy but you get what you pay for! Dr Brian and family make you feel at home.

Finally feel really taken care of and being given the treatment I really need and not something else just to take my money. Dr Elena has a level of understanding and ethics that I have not found before and I am so happy I decided to come to her.

Outrageous prices and very rude. Treats staff badly in front of patients. He has no people skills whatsoever. Had to leave one star but doesn't even deserve that.

Dr. Brian Kucey has been addressing my dental needs for a very long time. Years ago when I needed very extensive and expensive dental restoration, a former Assistant Dean of Dentistry at the University of Alberta recommended Dr. Brian. Thank you Dr. Brian for your expertise, perfectionism and totally honest assessment of the work that needs to be done and the most expeditious timeline for same. Dr Brian Kucey is always forthright, honest and most importantly supportive. Many years have passed and I’m still smiling.

Wonderful hygienist and dentist. Lillian and Elena are friendly and excellent at their work. Very thorough in a pleasant environment.

Dr. Cathy Kucey and Marianna to the rescue! My front tooth broke off completely just before I was planning to go away on vacation.
I called in a panic and the reception staff was able to fit me in within the hour. They spent a good 2-3 hrs to help me and I left with a solution to the problem and a front tooth.
I’m so thankful to all the staff that helped with special thanks to Dr. Cathy Kucey.

I saw Dr. B. Kucey today for a wisdom tooth extraction as well as a dental implant. I had the same procedure previously for the other side of my mouth about a year ago. I was given oral sedation the first time as Dr. Kucey was not familiar with how I would tolerate this procedure.
Today, no sleepy oral sedation, and it went great. The two assistants were fantastic, as they always are. I see Ellie most times when I’m there and she’s always considerate regarding how I’m feeling.
Dr. B. Kucey has such interesting stories to tell while doing the procedure (I think to distract me from what’s being done), lol. The downside is that I can’t participate in the conversation.
Before I knew it, the procedure was complete. And if I could have, I would have been smiling but couldn’t because of the freezing. If you have any doubts about seeing Dr. Kucey (and his team), I’d say put them aside.
You are in good hands.

I have received my two dental implants from this dental group and have received excellent attention and care. All questions are answered and tons of information is given.

They say they care and understand people with high fear and anxiety with dealing with the dentist well. I would recommend they include on their website that they will not bill your insurance plan you have to pay up front. It took me so much to even request a call and then the first time I seen them calling I froze and couldn't answer the phone. I did manage to force myself to answer the second time only to hear they won't help. I can't afford to pay up front that is the whole idea of having a plan. They would electronic file for me to get the money but not them. So now I am back at square one and have to muster up the courage to call another office. It physically makes me I'll the thought of it.

NOTE: A negative review is not easy to write and most people just want to ‘move on’. Please note how many the negative reviews have in comparison with the positive reviews. THAT completely switches the high positive ranking that is so clearly displayed, but is mid-leading). These dentists are well-trained, undoubtably very capable Family of dentists.nevertheless inappropriate costs and charges (which cannot effectively be challenged due to Alberta’s customer protection weakness in the dental field). It seems their treatment and pressure tactics are used more on senior citizens than younger clients. Dr. Elena was “bad cop” by chastising the elderly patient, which was completely incorrect based on the medical file of the patient and completely unprofessional based on the elderly patients psychological state. Then the “good cop” enters with a glowing plan to resolve everything, albeit at a price and complexity that only confuses the situation more. We ended up cancelling, without even having a full cost, because their pattern was so clear and the ability for recourse was impossible. Such a negative and dehumanizing experience, done with a smile.

First let me tell you … Doctor Elena is the best of the best. So professional! So honest! And clear with you, not surprise she will tell you how things have to get done and she will make sure everything done in a great way! I love her very much for her dedication to her patient! Life! Her self and the great thing ever she is the most humble woman ever out there. God bless Dr. Elena Hernandez-Kucey always.

Dr. Kaucey and her staff are wonderful. My kids enjoy visiting, they are so patient and friendly. It's been a great experience.

I have generalized anxiety and cried when I first met Dr. Elena Kucey. She is very patient, kind and understanding. Everything was explained step by step which made me feel completely at ease. I think, wait, I know I have found my forever dentist. Dr. Kucey and staff -thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The clinic did make dentures for me that did not fit properly, they were sticking out which was unfit, total charge was $6000 dollars, and they said they dont give the money back, but due to Covid I could not go back as I dont trust to pay any more to get another pair remade at my expense. Terrible deal for a senior who is working hard to meet ends meet. Do not recommend this for poor people. High priced, no service, NOT RECOMMEND, HIGH SALES TACTICS

Staff are very helpful, especially for those who are mobility challenged. My dental work resolved the issues that I presented and I am very happy with the results.

I was nervous about getting my failed root canal tooth removed and an implant put in it's place, but Dr. Kucey and his assistant Ellie took wonderful care of me! Thanks to Dr. Kucey's expertise and knowledge, the surgery went really well and I had very little discomfort afterwards. At my follow up appointment, Dr. Kucey took time out of his busy schedule, to fix a problem I had with a previous implant I had done at another office. This was so kind of him! If you are looking for excellent dentistry and friendly staff, I would highly recommend this office!

Dr. Cathy Kucy was AMAZING with me. Had a root canal done. Went in the first time and she helped with the infection and was a great experience. Second time I went in was to complete the procedure and OMG she was great. She made sure I was always comfortable (even though I was slobbering down my chin) lol. No pain the next day. I have been with Kucey dental for a few years now. After going back and forth from several dentists I always seem to come back to Elena because her team just seems to be better. Last year, she finally convinced me to get Invisilign because of teeth grinding. I recently finished the program and could not be happier. Not only is my grinding problem solved but teeth look a lot better too. With that said, I also wore my retainers religiously. Definitely helped a lot in the long run. Five stars to her team!

No stars for their rude stuff service. They change your time appointment same day few minutes before. Very disappointing.

I went in for a consultation and was told it would be $50.for a consult; after being there for an hour, I met with the dentist. I had to pay $247.00 for the visit and was told it would be $12,000.00 if I wanted to pursue the work.
I was very disappointed in the service.

Staff is very friendly. Dr Brian Kucey fixed my smile perfectly years ago. No one even knows it’s not all real. I’ll never be able to thank him enough for that. If you need implants in your smile zone, I highly recommend Dr Brian Kucey. You won’t be disappointed.

Physical space is very pleasant and relaxing.
Mariana (unsure if correct spelling) was a wonderful technician. So pleasant and gentle. The dentist provided me with lots of valuable information that was very helpful when trying to make informative decisions.
The greeting from reception to making payment at reception was also great.
Overall, there was no reason to give a less than 5 star rating.

I love the staff, are all pleasant and professional, They take the time to explain, whatever needs to be explained. The Dental work, makes me smile.

Great people that care about there patients. I just had a terrible infection and I was in and out with problem solved in two hours. Can’t say enough about how professional the operate.

Excellent customer and friendly service with a very good diagnosis from Laura my Dental Hygienist and Dr. Elena.

ZERO STARS. This office is so far above the fee guide! And they bill every little thing. I left when the estimate for my crowns doubled. Always up selling. And they collect up front they don’t work with your insurance. That’s because they don’t want a patient revolt at the reception desk when you find out how much more they charge above what’s eligible. I left and still can’t get the xrays I paid for sent to my new clinic. I have never met such rude people. This seems to be the practice culture dentists yell and belittle staff and staff do the same to patients. For all your 5 star reviews I have to wonder how many are “bought and paid for”. Anybody who says anything bad gets a reply that says we don’t “recognize your name. Please call the clinic”. This place should be fined.

WOW Is the good people and have people Tha speak spanish I'm very confortable and AND the cost Is cheaper but the qualite is really good!

It was a great surprise to find someone who loves his profession, Dr Kucey did a very professional assessment to make me an implant, very well known, he went to the root causes loosing bone and gum diseases, and certainly the time he spent to explain It to me, I could not pay it, the best dentist I ever met, I wish to have more people, like him.

Dr Kucey and all the staff have been amazing to work with, and they go above and beyond to help with my messy dental situation. They've been a huge help in coordinating and communicating with my other Doctors, and in helping me to fully understand everything that's going on with my case. I've been coming to the office for over three years, and it's helped so much with my self confidence that Dr Kucey cares not only about making a great final product, but also for the temporary look of my teeth that I've had to deal with for years.

I would like to thank Kucey Dental for creating a Game Plan to get me the smile I’ve always wanted but never knew I could have. It’s a work in process. Today we did a filling and with having jaw pain from a recent work injury. They were accommodating and being so gentle with everything and making me feel comfortable. I appreciated when staff would stop the work on my cavity, as they could see the pain of keeping the jaw open for the procedure. They gave me ice pack to ease the pain; would stop from time to time to allow me to relax, to then work again on the cavity filling. I would DEFINITELY recommend Kucey Dental Group for your oral care and especially Dr. Elena Kucey for her knowledge and insight into gum health. Thank you again to all the staff.

Did not make it past the horrible receptionist. I refused to tell her what meds I take, said I would tell the Dr.myself and she said I had to tell Her! I left. She was condescending, rude and out of line.

Had a great appoint with them they are pricey but i think the experience is hopefully worth the price seems like they want to make sure your happy and that.and he is fixing up what Mexico made a mess off. Dont ever get work like 10 crowns in mexicio pay the extra money in canada.

Don't go here. We booked an appointment with them but cancelled 9 days before the appointment on the advice of our regular dentist who issued a strong warning against using the services of this husband wife team because "they charge for everything. " Our dentist told us they even charge to release x-rays you have already paid for! They charge your dentist for release of these records. That's bogus. I've never in my 50 years ever been charged for release of my medical records to another doctor.

Even though we gave them 9 days, nevertheless, they refuse to refund our $400.00 booking fee. What kind of professional does that? I thought it was sketchy to have to pay that to begin with, and now I find I was right. Don't go here, unless you don't care about money. This is a predatorial business and the are only concerned to find ways to take more of your money.

They say that they "told us when we booked" that the refund fee was not refundable. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. You can be sure we'll be digging out the appropriate legal statutes and issuing a formal complaint to the BBB.

Feb 20/20 was my 2nd appointment with kucey dental both sessions were phenomenal right from walking in the door till the time i was done. Very professional staff! Every procedure was explained to me and then discussed options. I highly recommend Kucey dental Mar 2/20 I;m very fortunate to have come to Kucey dental. On Feb 27/20 extractions were done and new dentures in place. Today I had an adjustment of my new dentures and WOOHOO i have teeth again! Thank you Dr. Eleana and staff your all awesome! Mar 9/20 Just had an adjustment on dentures AWESOME! My words if you want the best of the best then then Kucey Dental is for you!

I don’t think I could be referred to a better dentist. I had a really bad experience at another office and was afraid to see another dental office to have work done on my teeth. I had a way better experience here that I decided to take my daughters here. We are now all under Dr. E’s care and I wouldn’t take my teeth or their teeth anywhere else.

Extremely high prices, unclear about total cost and continually trying to upsell you on things you really don't need. I would highly recommend you shop around unless cost is not an issue for you.

The staff at Kucey Dental Group are friendly and supportive, which is refreshing when you're sitting in the dental chair for any reason. I can honestly say I'm the most confident I've ever been when I smile.

About 15 years ago my horse reared up and damaged my top 2 front teeth. My family dentist Dr. Darrell Chomay from smoky lake referred me to Dr.kucey for an implant and crown for those 2 teeth. I was so very happy with the results! I finally had my smile back.
About 2 years ago I went to Mexico and had 19 teeth crowned.yes I know. HUGE mistake. I almost died from dehydration and malnutrition in Yuma from the Mexican dental work. I came home and recovered. I thought all was finally finished with my dental issues.not even close! My bottom canine crown (from Mexico) broke off at the gum line. Dr. Kucey ended up putting a post on the root and put a beautiful crown there.
Another BIG molar broke off and the roots had to be taken out in pieces. Within these 2 years.the Mexican crowns have already wore through to the metal. They ALL need to be replaced and redone. I want to stress the importance of choosing the right dentist. I am too young for dentures and I thought Mexico was the cheapest best solution.it was NOT! I wish I would have consulted Dr. Kucey before I went.
Another issue of mine is terror towards dentists. I have been sedated for dental work for years. Dr. Kucey offers several types of sedation.yesterday I went to Dr. Kucey to get 5 permanent crowns put in and I didn’t have to have any sedation.this is a miracle in itself. He is kind, patient, and takes the time to explain everything to me.
Anyone who says he’s too costly is not thinking about the big picture.just remember you get what u pay for. He is educated up the wazoo.and I TRUST him.and believe me I’m the most skeptical dental patient ever!
Through All this I have been seeing both Dr.kuceys for about 5 years.
The quality of my dental work done there is second to none.
I have a top front tooth implant.front tooth crown. 5 new crowns and crown lengthening surgery. The kindness and care I receive there is phenomenal. I still have more to go to fix the Mexico disaster but Dr. Kucey is walking me through step by step to get my teeth healthy again. It’s a lengthy process and I am very happy to have the Kuceys looking after me.
I would recommend Kucey Dental Group to anyone and everyone that desires to have that brilliant beautiful smile restored!

I can honestly say that Dr. Elena has moved from being my favorite dentist to one of my favorite people! Not only does she treat her patients with respect, she has always clearly explained my options for different treatments; she goes through the pros and cons to those treatments and which one (s) she recommended for me.
Whenever she has had to give me a needle, she does an amazing job at making sure I am comfortable and she keeps talking to keep me calm (which is important because I have a terrible fear of needles).
The staff who you see and interact with when you first walk in are absolutely amazing! So friendly! I have never felt rushed and my questions have always been answered fully.
If you are a student (or anyone for that matter) who needs a dentist, I personally believe this is your only option. She is the best!
