Kyoto Sushi

I’ve been coming to Kyoto for years. It’s the best Japanese lunch spot around and have to go to the 109 st location. Only I miss the bean sprout salad with ginger sauce, i with they would bring that back!

Wasted time and money by taking a cab to the restaurant with my daughter and once we walked in we were told they were closed at 2pm in the afternoon.

I’m so glad I found this place! I think it’s the biggest pieces of fish I’ve ever seen in a roll. The spicy roll wasn’t overpowering, it was just right. I ordered pick up, they give you a good sized portion of wasabi and ginger and also give soya sauce and chopsticks. Seems like a small thing, but some places don’t include chopsticks. Prices are amazing for the portion size. I was super happy to see miso soup for only $1! I will definitely be back!

We ordered tempura and the shrimps were so undercooked that there was flour inside. The udon was so badly cooked we had to throw it away (bad veggies i think). Overall it was quite bad. Do not go to this place.

Tuna fill was dry, squid was stringy after perpared. Still had to pay for my meal. And the chef yelled at me for pointing if out

This was the worst sushi and tempura we have ever had.

The tempura was soggy and bland, the shrimp inside was undercooked.

The sushi and sashimi was even worse. It smelled and either tasted spoiled or bland. The rice fell apart as soon as a roll was picked up. When biting into the salmon sashimi it was inedible, I couldn't even chew it. Some slices of the avocado was also sour. The wasabi was also bottom of the barrel quality. We spend over 100 dollars expecting at least decent quality sushi and couldn't even finish the food we received.

Dogs loved it and the canned soda was good.that's about all I can say thats positive about the quality of food we received.

Ordered from this place tonight: specifically ordered VEGETARIAN items as I am allergic to fish and I can get very sick. My husbands order that had FISH in it - was placed in the SAME box with my vegetarian order. Very unsafe! Could not eat. Way to dangerous. Vegetarian orders should always be packed in separate boxes. Will not order from here again

We enjoyed every dish on the menu. Well worth the money and good value. Staff is very friendly. Very good turnaround- no waits. Good 3 hours in amazing vibes. Highly recommended

Ordered for delivery for my partner and I. As other reviews said it was very disappointing. Sushi didn't taste fresh, it was rolled poorly and most of it had fallen apart before I even opened the box. Tempura wasn't worth the price at all, it was heavy, very oily, and some unusual choices (as others have mentioned, tempura onions?) The agadashi tofu was probably the best part of the meal. It was at the very least more crisp than the the tempura. I've had much better delivery from other sushi places.

Some of the best sushi in town at very reasonable rates. The spicy tuna/salmon cones.oh.my.gosh. If you like 'em very spicy and very fresh, this is your new fave "secret diamond" sushi place.

Came for lunch to have the worst food ever.
Sushi didn't taste fresh, tempura batter was heavy, California rolls was mostly rice and didn't hold well. And as per another comment, onion tempura seriously. I'm surprised I didn't get sick the way the fish tasted

Excellent little place. Very friendly service. Great quality food and very reasonably priced. Great lunch combo options.
